The polish was shrinking on my toes and it was just horribly done. It looked awful. I had to walk back in like 10 mins later after my appointment and request for them to redo the polish. DO NOT get reg polish after paraffin. Only gel! I didn't wanna do gel, cause you have to come back for them to take it off. The whole thing was a nightmare and a waste of money. My lady first grabbed the wrong color and if I hadn't noticed and corrected her she would have used it, she was also bit stingy on the nail polish; I had asked prior to choosing a glitter nail polish I liked was opaque and was told yes, but it wasn't. I had to ask for extra coats for both my mani and pedi. (I used the same color). Sadly even after the extra coats some small parts of my nails are still showing through. Luckily it's not noticeable unless you're looking closer, no one is going to do that, but for the price...‍ While some employees weren't particularly busy during the visit, they were mostly on their phones. It would have been nice if that time was used to clean up the unused areas which could elevate the overall atmosphere. At check out the lady was about to charge me 40 dollars over the amount it should have been. When I corrected her and the other employee who was standing there they just went "oh" and changed it to a smaller number. I'm pretty sure I was charged $5-10 dollars over the actual amount owed but since I don't have the receipt on me I can't verify atm. Not a terrible experience but definitely not great either. During recent visits, I've had to remind staff of missed steps, and my last two appointments were mishandled, either the second service was forgotten or not communicated properly. At my most recent visit, the same technician as last time seemed unaware of social cues. I was clearly reading a book and hoping for a quiet session, but she kept interrupting with questions, so I had to put it away. I also had to tell her multiple times that she was being too aggressive, despite me directly saying "this is uncomfortable and I am not enjoying this", she didn't adjust her approach. I'm now left with broken skin. Condescendingly when applying the polish she added a question "does this hurt." I don't think this tech is licensed. Meanwhile my second service was completed I had to remind the 'tech' to add the clear coat. When it came time to check out I noticed they added an unadvertised additional fee. We conversed and she made me feel comfortable. I didn't understand what she was saying at times , so when we discussed the shape, she said square square, and I said yes! Well now my nails are ultra squared and it's my fault. Lol. They kinda look like teeth. Lesson learned. I really like their glitter gel polishes and all the color choices. I chose green and red, which afterwards I realized looked really Christmas like. Lol. But I did sorta like them. Picking colors takes me forever. My girls nails looked really good.
