I've been to other laser hair removal clinics and the speed and lack of detail was disappointing. I highly recommend DermaLuxe. If you can tolerate some laser pain, this is great. When I asked why, at first she made reference to "securing" the price, later she justified this practice stating that they have many "no show". When I asked about their cancellation policy, she said that they would refund only 90% of the fee if I cancel the appointment. When I asked if she meant the day before the appointment, she clarified that any cancellation would give me only 90% of the fee back and added that I could only reschedule if I did not want to lose money. When I asked why they business does this, she explained that it costs them money to refund the fee and they do not want to have any losses. Most importantly, you are forced to use at least $150.00. I have already submitted a request to the appropriate authority to investigate whether this business practice is "only" unfair and dishonest, or whether it can be considered scam/fraud under the appropriate provisions of the Consumer Protection Act. I strongly recommend that you do not pay this business any deposit and stay away from it. All those negative reviews are here for a reason.

I was really nervous to start my laser treatments on my legs and bikini. I am mixed with tanned skin and very dark and coarse hair. So I was (1) scared of the pain and (2) scared of getting burned. Well now I'm on my fifth treatment, and yes it did hurt, but not as much as I thought and it got better and better each treatment. And even though I'm not done my series yet, my legs are dramatically smoother. I can't be happier with Silde's work. She is honest, patient and very experienced. I used to have next day stubble on my legs, and now they can stay non-prickly for about a week bc the hair is thinner and softer and there's just way less of it lol. And I'm only half way through!
