I paid for 12 sessions and they took my 5 sessions and told me since i have not used them for three months i loose them and told me that my session will cost 39$ in dollars!. Love this place so much. Used to go to SEV laser but was overcharged, had to wait minimum three months to be seen because they were so busy and parking in La Jolla was awful. Headed south of the border to Melanie's, never looked back!! This place has great deals, easy scheduling, short 4 minute Lyft drive and extremely professional employees. If you have time get a facial to treat yourself I recommend doing the hydro facial too. The nice thing about this place is they offer promotions all the time and if you don't speak English they have their contract in English and people offer to help translate If there any confusion. Okay so I've been coming here for about 8 months now and I will continue until there's not a hair on my body! Picture 6 & 9 those two ladies are the best hands down! The are very detailed! It's an absolutely amazing place! I've looked up a few places out here like Laser X, Laser America and a few others and Melanies has the best packages! I recommend to everyone! I have very coarse hair (VERY) and just after two treatments I've notice a huge difference! I'm down to only shaving twice a month! Remember though for some people it may work and may not but it will definitely changed the texture of you hair! By the way I do legs, underarms, bikini and partial face. If you pay in whole I believes it comes out roughly about 85$ for 12 months or if you pay as you go for the package like mines it's about 113$ a Month. They have very good prices! read more

I'm 6 sessions in and there's hardly any hair growth. The sessions are quick, the staff profesional, and the prices reasonable. I got a deal for armpits and Brazilian for $48 US dollars each session. They recommend 12, but I don't think I'm going to need all 12. The clinic is very clean, makes feel secure and confident. They take debit card, which is nice. The place is easy to get to and fast. I get here in about 30 min from Spring Valley. I'm giving 4 stars because the staff seems to have a high turn over rate; there's always a new girl there. Once, I could tell that the girl didn't laser all the areas well or thoroughly. I just made sure to not get her again. read more

Love this place! I noticed a huge difference after just the first treatment. I've done 2 so far and I'm am really happy with the results and the cost. The ladies are so professional and diligent at what they do. I was nervous at first being that I was getting a full Brazilian but after a few minutes I was fine. I told a friend of mine and she went with me the second time and got lasered too - she loved her results! We're going a 3rd time this week and now we might have a 3rd person joining. You sign up for 12 treatments but you pay at each visit, the "contract" you sign up for is just to hold the price and guarantees you'll pay that set price for 12 visits. This place is amazing, all the girls that work there are either nurses or certified estheticians. They make you feel very comfortable with their knowledge. The reviews on here is what made me decide to come, and it was the best decision. I pay about $115 USD for full legs and half face. It does hurt but mostly where hair is thicker and darker. The staff is remarkable. Comforting, patient, and just very nice. My sessions typically take about half hour. After 4 sessions, skin stays smoother longer. Exfoliating the treated skin in between appointments helps remove the dead hair that is sitting in the follicle after the treatment, that would otherwise take longer to be pushed out naturally. read more

I was a little worried about whether or not to get this done but after three sessions I noticed a BIG difference about 60% less hair and very slow growth. I'm in and out in less than 12 min and the place is very clean. People are nice and I never have to worry about parking because it's reserved for you. Happy with the results so far. I had 10 sessions done back in 2008 and I'm very happy with the results. Every year I return 2-3 times for maintenance as some hair do grow back here and there. I do like the ladies they have always been very accommodating. Unfortunately, I just came back from my appointment and was surprised to be caught with a 100% increase in price- I do expect that they raise the price but a 100% is a bit too much so after 10 years I'm shopping for another place but do recommend the service. read more

Had my first session out of hopefully many. I looked at so many places online and this one was the best as far as prices and what they offer. I reached out to another Yelper to ask for input and she had a good experience so I felt comfortable making an appointment. So I took the leap and got lots of sections done. They use the Candela Gentle Yag laser which is pretty cooling and not really painful with the exception of the course areas.
