I had come to Rafi for a color correction after my a previous stylist botched my beautiful hair from simply not caring enough. I am loyal to my stylists & my previous stylist I had for 4 years put my hair thru the ringer & she simply gave up. My hair needed TLC (thick, fried, damaged from previous bleaching, and turned back to black, with more bleaching). I came to Rafi with a challenge and he was able to give me an excellent makeover that makes me feel confident. We pushed the limit and he even selected a cut for me that suits my profile. Scheduling is easy and I've always been happy with the treatments received. I made the mistake early on with a different doctor (Dr. Nowak) in Chula Vista and was sorely disappointed. I had cool sculpting done last year from April to July on my upper stomach area, which has been a problem area for me that wasn't improving by actively working out. It's been one year and I don't see any difference! After my last session in July, I was told I would get a call in December to take photos but I never received a phone call. Andee is an amazing hair stylist! I was her client at her former salon where she took me from almost black to blonde. I'm still truly shocked that she actually was able to get all the dark dye out of my hair without damage and within a relatively short amount of time. I thought Chula Vista was too far for me so when she moved to this salon, I stayed at the old one. Well joke is on me because once again when I had a hair emergency who pulls through, Andee! She literally fit me in with much less than 24 hours notice, on a day she normally doesn't work. If that's not great service I don't know what is. Andee is exceptional with color, and cuts. Everything is blended perfectly. She's a perfectionist and won't let you leave disappointed. She also gives great advice on hair care and is an all around great person who loves what she does! I also really like the vibe of this salon. Its relaxed and the other hairstylists are so friendly. Rafi is a lot of fun and I can tell super knowledgeable and passionate about great hair and quality service. At this salon you really feel like you get individualized attention and not like you're being rushed through. They carry great products, including Kenra which I love! I thought prices reasonable compared to quality of the services and the salon. I'm now going to be making the "trek" to this salon and can't wait for my next appointment! I am absolutely speechless with the results I received from Rafi K. at One Medical Spa and Salon. I initially came with natural dark brown hair, with damaged ends from previous dye, and my hair was in need of an ultimate transformation. I have been been to several stylists in the past, and have been "blonde" (more brassy than anything) before, but nothing compares to the transformation that Rafi had given me today. In just one session, I was able to go as light as I have ever been with so much dimension and the blending in my roots is absolutely seamless. I went with an ashy silver blonde, something I have never been able to achieve after multiple sessions with other stylists, but was accomplished for the first time when working with Rafi. Rafi is definitely an expert on hair, is evidently a perfectionist in his craft, and you won't leave the salon disappointed. In fact, I can't stop looking in the mirror and thinking, "Wow, this is actually my hair!" After posting a photo with my new hair, I have gotten countless comments complimenting my hair and so many people wondering where I got it done at and by who.
