A while back I had Larry's AC Inc come out to install a 3ton 2stage non-communicating unit that we…read morebought on our own. Larry told us that he would provide the proper thermostat for our 2stage unit. He charged us 1700$ for the install Well after about 2 months of the AC not being able to cool down the house, I kept trying to get him to come out and fix the problem that I found out was a bad thermostat that he put on wrong. He installed a 1stage thermostat onto our 2stage unit. Him and his son refused to come install a new thermostat that I had bought, and blamed it on me that I didn't have the correct thermostat when they came out to install the unit originally, Even though they insisted BEFORE the install that I didn't need to buy a thermostat despite telling them I had no problem doing so.. They kept telling me that they had the proper thermostat on the truck and so I trusted them. Well after they refused to come fix it and told me to go screw myself, I called another company to come out and WOW!! The tech found out that they indeed did install the wrong thermostat, it was a 1 stage thermostat and we had a 2stage unit which I told Larry about beforehand multiple times, He insisted that he knew what he was doing and would have no problem doing it correctly.. On top of the wrong thermostat, during the diagnostic the new tech found that Larry's AC Inc installed our unit completely wrong and to run in stage 1 permanently. In the image I've provided you can see clearly that the wire for the 2nd stage was not even hooked up AT ALL. But the problems don't stop there!!! ON TOP OF ALL THAT, The new tech also discovered that our brand new unit was installed with not enough coolant! They didn't even put enough coolant in the unit for it to work properly!!! 2 months of the unit being unable to cool the house down and Larry blamed it on everything from it being a Rheem unit, to it being my fault that I didn't have the correct thermostat when he got there.. Well guess what, It took less than an hour for the new tech to diagnose the problems and correct them... OUR AC UNIT WORKS GREAT NOW!!! For the first time since we've had it, the house cools down very quickly, and it doesn't run constantly anymore because it's not struggling to cool the house down stuck in 1 stage!! I don't know if it was the coolant being low or the bad thermostat or the fact that stage 2 wasn't even hooked up, or maybe it was all 3... But as soon as the new tech fixed all those issues, Our Rheem AC started working AMAZINGLY!! I am so happy that it was just Larry's incompetence and not a bad unit!!! BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY, IF YOU CALL THEM OUT ON THEIR BAD WORK THEY WILL BLAME EVERYTHING OTHER THAN THEMSELVES, And his son might even threaten to want to fight you like he did me in the text message that i've also provided an image for. What an absolute joke of a company, and all it would have taken is for Larry to fix his mistake, but instead they get this horrible review because they couldn't have the integrity to come out and fix their mistakes.

But if you are complaining for Teddy Bell I have already addressed his issue on Yelp. First off lets tell the complete story. Teddy called me numerous times begging for us to install all his equipment. We kept telling him no as we we were swamped with our other jobs. But he kept calling. So we gave him a price to install his equipment. We go there to install his equipment he doesn't have a thermostat. So Larry tells him all he carries is 1 stage t-stats but that he can hook it up to get him going. He agrees and throws it in on the price. He said on yelp he was charged for it. I have the bill in front of me and no where shows a price for t-stat. As for you calling us to fix your unit. They came out 2 other times. I took the calls. And each time they addressed the problem you asked about. And didn't charge extra on anything. The last call was where he was asking about wires that were exposed. When they went out it was cable wires that do not go into the line chase cover. So saying they ignored your repeated calls is not true. As for not wiring your 2 stage unit right, is not true if you are talking about leaving a wire not hooked up because of 2stage system with a 1 stage t-stat. But that is not miss wired. It was on you to have all the equipment for us to install. When you called Larry repeatedly you never mentioned 2stage or he would have had the 2stage t-stat. Your equipment you bought should have come with a t-stat for that equipment. That was on you not us. That system was running good and cooling when we left. We went back a couple of other times of you calling. Then the last time you said you finally got the 2 stage t-stat and wanted them to come install. We were busy. Then you started sending texts to Derek to come install that t-stat because Larry installed the wrong one. He knew he didn't. You didn't get the t-stat when you got your equipment. So Larry and Derek felt since you were putting the blame for T-stat on them they were done. No t-stat was on you. It was your equipment. As for the Text messages Teddy put on Yelp between him and Derek. Like you he didn't explain in full context of what happened in this whole ordeal. He tried to make out that Derek wanted to meet him at his house to Fight but Derek wanted to meet him and address his issues. Derek told you numerous times to stop blowing up his phone with these texts. But after those text messages between Teddy and Derek they knew they needed to step back. But claiming we do shotty work like Teddy did on Yelp is wrong. Like I said over there we couldn't have been in business for as long as we have doing shotty work and not pleasing anyone. We know we can't please everyone but we Please most. " Above is their reply to a review I have my fiancee leave, Multiple lies in it. I believe they had their desk clerk, someone who has absolutely no idea of what went on during the install, reply to our bad review. Just a bunch of lies defending an absolutely terrible HVAC "tech" that should have his license revoked. They never told me "No Multiple times because they were swamped" On the VERY FIRST time I called, they were eager to take our money and install the unit we had, They accepted the job on the very first call, I didn't start calling them and bothering them until the unit they installed could not cool our house at all and after discovering all the mistakes they made. Oh and I'm making this new review after 10+ months because guess what, They installed my 35max amp AC unit onto a 50 amp breaker, so it burnt out our compressor and is now costing us $3,000 more to fix. We are lucky that we got a brand new electrical panel installed prior to the disaster that is Larry AC&Heat because it could have burnt our house down had the breaker not tripped. 35 max amp AC installed onto a clearly marked 50 amp breaker. Was I supposed to also tell him how to do that as the CUSTOMER? How did this man get licensed? Does he even know what he is doing at all? He butchered the entire install and caused our compressor to melt down and destroy its self because of his negligence. For the first 2 months our TWO STAGE 3 ton brand new AC couldn't even cool a 1200sq foot home because he installed it with a single stage thermostat, and did not even wire the 2nd stage to be active, and then blamed me for not having the correct equipment despite the fact that he told me "We have thermostats on the truck don't worry about it"

Frank was polite and professional throughout the entire process and was very friendly and forthcoming with answers to my many questions.
