If I could giver 100 stars I would. The whole process was like a dream. When I went in for the shoot Melissa and her makeup artist made me feel so comfortable and welcome and that really helped to calm my nervousness. My makeup and hair were absolutely beautiful and I felt beautiful. Also they helped me to pick out the outfits that went the best with the theme I was going for. During the shoot Melissa was absolutely amazing. She helped me find the posses that made me feel confident and beautiful and made the whole experience wonderful. I am adding to my original review, because it warrants an update. In doing this Boudoir photo shoot with Meli, I was stepping way out of my comfort zone. I have never experienced anything like this and if anyone is hesitant in doing this due to their own body image issues or whatever, JUST DO IT! I have far from the "perfect" body and although I am a Mom of two kids, I couldn't have felt more confident and comfortable with Meli and our session. She is extremely warm, made it very fun and easy. Meli guided me as to the best positions and poses and I'm also very uncoordinated however, Meli was so patient with me. Meli is also EXTREMELY talented in her abilities to transform this Mom of two into a goddess. She definitely has an eye for this and is a true professional. You can tell this is her passion. It was probably one of the most amazing experiences I have had in a very long time. I opted for the package that included hair and makeup. Lucy was my makeup expert and is a true artist in herself and made my makeup look gorgeous. I am very thankful to Meli, for not only bringing out my lost inner goddess, but for the amazing experience as a whole. By far, one of the BEST experiences ever!! From the communication with setting up an appointment and explaining the whole process of how and what she does...to the actual photo session...there's not one complaint about Melissa and/or her business. I had always wanted to do a boudoir photoshoot but never had the courage to actually set one up. I came across Risque Reflections Boudoir on Instagram and after following the page I saw a promotion and told myself...why not! I had to make sure to reach out to Melissa and It was the best communication ever! I didn't know what to expect with the whole session but with music playing (Tina Turner, Janet Jackson and the greatest...Tupac) my nervous guts switched so quick that I was no longer nervous and beyond confident (minus a few of my own flaws) and let me tell you...the BEST photoshoot ever. There was NOT one picture I did not like...ok maybe one that caught my braces but every picture was beautifully captured. My package was a total of 5 digital/prints...well let's just say there's over 28 that I picked. That should tell you how perfect the eye of the photographer has. Melissa took her time with me during both the session and when reviewing the pictures and she made me feel so comfortable all around.
