This Dr said I needed a hysterectomy, when I asked for a 2nd opinion she sent me a registered letter releasing me as a patient. I went to another provider and I did not need a hysterectomy. Shame on this Dr!!!!! She should have her license taken and not be able to practice and harm women. read more

So thankful for this doctoroffice. As a new resident to Prescott, I needed to get into a gynecological doctor asap. The caring staff was wonderful and they were able to get me scheduled the next day. Everyone was friendly, caring and comforting. Dealing with an unknown health issue is extremely stressful and scary. But thankfully everyone at this office showed care and compassion and each own made me feel special and well cared for. I know I'm in good hands. read more

Horrible "doctor"! I'm surprised she's still allowed to practice based on some of the Google reviews I've seen as well as a couple on here... my own personal experience was frustrating and left me feeling absolutely devastated about myself... which was not about me, but a personal problem on her part. Maybe if I was a Christian following all of the Bible's rules, she would have treated me with the dignity and respect I deserved. read more

I am very picky about my OBGYN. I've moved several times over the years and so I've met a few... Dr. Martin and her staff are by far the best! I love that she has her own lab and imaging in her own private office, but more importantly, I feel completely comfortable and safe in her care. Not only is she knowledgeable in her field, but she is very concerned with giving her patients the best care possible. I only had to wait for an appointment once (maybe 15 minutes) because there was an emergency that absolutely had to be taken care of. She apologized profusely and even then, she did not rush through seeing me. Dr. Martin is a very compassionate doctor, and I strongly recommend her! read more

Let me start out by saying the Dr. Martin and her office staff are amazing. This is my first pregnancy, and I was definitely nervous about the whole situation. My husband and I were new to Prescott (and Arizona as a whole), and I had no one to ask for a referral for a good OB/GYN. Luckily I found her on my insurance companies Recommended Doctors list, and I never looked back! Dr. Martin herself is a great doctor- funny but straight forward, easy to talk to, not condescending or judgy (like some doctors can be). Her NP, Tabitha, is amazing as well! She guessed the sex of our baby just by hearing it on the heart monitor! (Even tho she admitted she is wrong about 90% of the time!) It's a very comfortable place to turn to when you're a first time mother with all the first time worries. The ultrasound tech (I'm sorry, I can't remember her name), was amazing as well. She allowed me and my husband and 4 of his family members to be in the room for the gender reveal. She was very thorough and explained everything she was doing, and even answered my mother-in-laws 10,000 questions in the process! When she told me it was a boy, I cried. It was such an awesome moment! I am at 25.5 weeks now, and my husband and I moved down to the Phoenix area for work. I've been making the drive up to Prescott just to see her, but now that I'm further along and will have to go more often, I needed to find a doctor closer to me in Phx. I am so disappointed to have to leave Dr. Martin's office, I would have loved to have had her thru the whole pregnancy! read more

I'm 6 weeks pregnant with my third baby, and never lived in AZ before now. I saw Dr.Martin and it was a great experience. The staff was very helpful and nice. The office is clean and welcoming. I had to bring both my kids and it was great for them too. They have Apple monitors in their rooms with prenatal informative videos on it. I just enjoyed to professionalism and positive vibe. read more

Melinda Martin is the one of the best doctors I have ever seen. I wanted to find a female OBGYN to go to while I was pregnant with my first child, after doing a ton of research I found Dr. Martin online. I live in Cottonwood and her office is in Prescott, so I had to drive about 40-45 minutes there and back each time I had an appointment. The experience with her was well worth the trip. She is so warm, kind and makes you feel so comfortable. She has a wonderful attitude and personality, and made he whole experience so enjoyable for me. I looked forward to seeing her at every appointment, and I can't wait to go back to her for baby number 2! Dr. Martin is such a incredible person and she truly cares about you and your baby, I just love her. I cannot say enough good things about her and her staff. Recently moved to AZ and had to change Dr's. Dr. Martin was great. She was super nice and the appointment went quickly and smoothly.

Dr Martin is a wonderful Dr. I am so blessed to have ended up at her office after all. It has been quiet a while since my last check up and everyone in her office was great. No judgment just happy to see you and get things checked out. I had a pretty serious diagnosis and after several biopsies and conferring with a top oncologist in Phoenix I was referred to his office. She sent me to a very capable dr who handled my case very well. He was very well educated and tops in his field. She not only does a great job herself but she works with the best. I very highly recommend Dr Martin. She's thoughtful diligent and has a sweet demeanor. She stays positive even when things look scary. I am so glad there are still Drs as good as this today. read more

Dr. Martin is so offensive. I suppose she would be fine if you were sexually active in a married relationship and trying to have a baby, but for the rest of the sexually active world that isn't married she would not be the right pick for you. I am 21 and I've been in my relationship with my boyfriend for almost a year now and yes we are having protected pre-marital sex, obviously she feel that this gives her the rite to literally started explaining to me why I shouldn't be having pre-marital sex and basically telling me that I'm a bad person- right before my pap smear. Because yeah- pissing me off is the perfect way to make me feel comfortable right before I get stuck in the vag with a giant metal object. Very cool- needless to say, I will never go back to that doctors office. read more

I had been going to a different OBGYN for over 10 years and I wasn't happy anymore with staff or care I was receiving. I have to say, This was the best move I could have made by finding Dr. Martin's office. I have been impressed from the very beginning. When I called to schedule an appt the office made me feel very comfortable. I love how they have their own lab and sonogram in the office. I feel like they take my health serious and I feel safe being treated by Dr. Martin and her staff. I have to say this was the best decision I could have made. I won't be looking for a new OBGYN as I have found Dr. Martin to be the best there is. read more

By far the best doctor I have ever had. Dr. Martin, along with her entire staff, are the most caring office I've ever visited.

I came to Dr Martin halfway through my pregnancy because I was unhappy with my current dr, I was reluctant at first because my prior dr was just no good for me and I didn't want to be disappointed again, but deciding to switch was one of the best decisions I made for my pregnancy. Her staff is also great which was a big deal for me because the staff at my prior Dr made me feel uncomfortable and I found them to be rude at times, but that's so not the case with dr Martins office staff and nurses. Everyone there is wonderful and personable and really good at putting you at ease. She also has a phlebotomist on hand to do your labs right there In the same building which is really convenient. You may have to wait awhile in the patient room to see her for appointments but in the end you won't mind because she's such a fantastic doctor and it's worth the wait. This woman is amazing. The only sad part is knowing that I will no longer be in town when I decide to have my 2nd child. I can't imagine going through a pregnancy without her and when I finally do decide to get pregnant again I'll be debating driving all the way from Scottsdale for all my appointments, I just can't imagine finding a better doctor. I was lucky enough to go into labor during her shift at the hospital and I was SO relieved. If your looking for a patient, personable, kind and smart doctor go with Dr Martin you won't be disappointed. read more

Worst service ever. Nobody at the front desk cares for great customer service and wasn't the least bit helpful. When I first scheduled my annual exam, they failed to actually write my appointment time down in their system and when I called to verify, they had no record of ever scheduling me. Then, when I moved out of State, they refused to refill my prescription for just one more month of my birth control pill. I had explained to them that my new doctor couldn't see me on time and that my appointment wasn't actually when I had originally scheduled it. And that my new doctor also said they can't give me the refill since i am a new patient and that I should call Dr. Martin for the refill. But when I did, they refused to call in the refill because it is "ACROSS STATE LINES". Even though I had previously picked up my other refills from Dr. Martin here in Indiana... POOR customer service. I am so glad to no longer live in Prescott. read more
