This was based on cancelled appointments ,excuses for things not getting and lack of professionalism. I tried to discontinue services at week 2 when I didn't receive meal plans bc phone overheated , computer wasn't charged, cancelled appointments bc of stomach bug and the next day it was car stolen (see text pics below) He stated he did not offer refunds and to give it another try. Week 3 was when I finally decided I had had enough when he cancelled an appointment at 3:42 am bc he was "sea sick" from the earthquake. I emailed him wanting a pro rated refund and listing all his excuses he got very unprofessional. He took no ownership and blamed me and MY behavior on my antidepressants. He displayed arrogant behavior by saying no one talked to him that way and I didn't deserve his presence (see attached pic) At this point there was no way I could continue working with him. The relationship between trainers and clients are very personal. Based on the excuses ,unprofessional behavior and insults I let him know I was filing a complaint with Better Business Bureau ,writing a yelp review of my experience and going to small claims court. I'm writing this in hopes that no one else has this experience.A fitness journey should be a positive experience.But I did learn a valuable lesson not to hire people solely based on yelp reviews. Thankfully I found an excellent new trainer /nutrionist based on references and results from people I know.
