Have had 3 massages with Melissa. She is great and really worked on my sore areas. I was able to call and get a massage the next day.

What a wacko! So glad I dodged a bullet before going to this lunatic, Melissa the owner. I…read morecouldn't even get to the scheduling of an appointment with her. First of all, I wrote her several times before she answered my emails. Then she asked me to text message her, stating that it is easier for her to schedule someone via text msg. in case any of her emails get lost. I text msg'd her three times. The last time stating that if I don't hear from her I will choose someone else. She then texted msg'd me back stating that she doesn't usually respond on weekends to anyone and that making appointments via phone, texting or emails is not something she likes to do. This was after asking me to text her. In her initial email to me she claimed that she wanted to "help all of me". In her text to me this morning the said that she doesn't think we are a good fit and that I should find someone else. I called her on her ridiculous ways of so-called business and she reacted like a child. So glad that I saw this before going to her. I found someone else since this crazy encounter and I look forward to seeing a professional. Not an immature individual who clearly doesn't know how to run a business. People who claim they will care for you when you see them, don't always! Be grateful that you can see their lack of character beforehand and walk away and be happy to move on like I did.

I would give this therapist no stars if I could. I had a massage this afternoon with Isaac. I sent…read moremy intake form a week ahead of time along with a message on it and he never even took the time to read any of it until I came to my appointment. Wasting 10 min. of my massage time. When the massage was over I realized that he shorted me 7 min. of a scheduled hour massage. We started at 2:25 and ended at 3:18. I arrived on time. Had he looked at my intake information before I arrived we could have discussed any questions or concerns via email, text or phone, or as the massage was starting to commence and the massage would have begun and ended on time. The massage was mediocre at best. Hence, his lack of experience of only 3 years. The points of pain that I told him bothered me more than others, he treated just like any other part of the body that had no issues accept for my shoulders, and sadly, that was mediocre at best as well. He needs to pay attention to his clients when they speak to him regarding issues of concern. I have had thousands of massages of many modalities, and all of my massage therapists are seasoned professionals and have the experience and are well trained to deal with all of my issues. They are very common issues to the well trained seasoned professional. I am trained myself in massage therapy in many modalities so I am well versed in what is expected during a massage therapy session and unfortunately this one did not measure up. Definitely go to someone with at least 10 or more years of experience and to someone who does not think that neurological and joint issues are uncommon when you come for a massage, like Issac does. Moving on. Hey Candi: I'm not going to spend much time on my response to you because I already said the the truth regarding what happened before and during my massage session. The bottom line is he was asked to a medium pressure Swedish massage and stay away from my neck. We spoke of my issues briefly but they were not the prime focus of the massage. I gave him the basics. He should have looked at my info beforehand in case he had any questions. If I needed him to lighten up on the pressure I told him to do so and it was still mediocre at best. It was not rocket science. FYI again, I did not get extra time. The session was done 7 minutes early and I was there on time. You said it yourself, he couldn't give me extra time since he had someone right after me. I finally found a professional masseuse familiar with all of my issues and we are a great match. I hope you find massage therapists that can handle people with various issues whether they turn out to be muscular skeletal, neurological, neuromuscular and the like. Your business will be better for it and I hope you and your massage therapists learn to take criticism as a positive tool. It's called being a grown up, instead of a child. Have a nice day!
