I didn't end up booking, but got very far in the process. In the end something came up and I had to make other plans. Despite this, Cindy was incredibly understanding and helpful. She went out of her way to answer all questions. After an initial phone call, she even followed up with an email because she thought of other options. Even after I told her it wouldn't work out, she went out of her way to wish us the best and made some great suggestions outside of what mellow mommy offers. My husband and I participated in a private baby moon with Cindy a couple of weeks ago and we had a wonderful time. Prior to our arrival she helped us to plan our trip and lodgings, and answered all my questions. Once we arrived she was already set up and made my husband (who's not one for these sorts of things) very comfortable and at home. The massage at the end was lovely as well! Our baby moon with Cindy couldn't have been any better. She took care of everything and made our stay relaxing, enjoyable and memorable. I must say that we had our room at the Timber Cove Inn upgraded to the Ocean View King Suite and I think that made all the difference for us. Although the rooms all have a great view of either the cove or the ocean, there was a huge discrepancy between the standard rooms and the suite in terms of comfort, space, cleanliness and maintenance. Our room was spectacular! The room was prepared for us before our arrival with candles, flowers, stones and most importantly, tasty snacks! As a vegetarian, I highly recommend the platter of assorted cheeses she offers. The breads and pastries from local bakeries were also delicious. We enjoyed every last bite! My husband and I had 90 minute massages that were to die for. I loved all of the essential oils she used and even though she didn't have a pregnancy massage table (I was looking forward to lying on my tummy), the massage was excellent. We also learned some simple massage techniques that we can use with each other and with our newborn baby. I love the fact that Cindy tailored everything to us and made us feel very special at this important juncture in our lives. My husband and I were given a baby moon for our Christmas gift. We stayed at the Timber Cove Resort in Jenner for 3 days and 2 nights. Our suite was in the newly remolded section of the Timber Cove Resort. It was very beautiful, spacious, and breath taking. Cindy came to us on the first day for our relaxing session which included meditation, breathing techniques, and partner massage. The next day we were treated (by my parents gift) to a 90 minute pregnancy massage and a 60 minute daddy massage. I would highly recommend having Cindy on your baby moon. Cindy recently gave me a prenatal massage in my hotel room at Timber Cove as part of our baby moon and it was divine. As a trained massage therapist and yoga teacher myself I was apprehensive about booking a prenatal massage because I'm more sensitive given my background and overall protective of my body during this time. Thankfully, my husband asked the hard questions and did the research to find me a true gem of a person to take care of me during this special time. I really needed that massage and Cindy was incredible. She incorporated some hot stones around the feet and warm towels throughout the massage. My wife and I had an AMAZING babymoon, largely due to Cindy and her wonderful Mellow Mommy session. Even before we met, when we were emailing to arrange a day/time, I found her to be incredible kind, thorough and responsive. She completely took care of everything - from booking our stay at the Inn at Occidental (5-star, btw) to preparing a gift basket full of local goodies; my wife has a few food allergies and Cindy made sure both the basket and Inn catered to her needs. The actual Mellow Mommy session itself was fantastic - not a wasted minute. We learned so much and Cindy gave some terrific lessons and techniques to guide us through the remainder of pregnancy and on into parenthood. Finally, the massage was honestly the best one I've ever had (and my wife said the same thing). Cindy took such great care and everything from the music to the oils to her calming voice was perfect.
