What I received was basically just light tapping on the face, with no real kneading or pressure anywhere. For $85, it wasn't a proper massage at all. If that's her style, it should've been clarified upfront. She also had an unwelcoming attitude before the session even started, which became a little awkward. I love going to her for treatments because she's very conscientious and professional in her work. The massage was okay. I did not get any results from it besides feeling relaxed during my session. I was very disappointed as the massage therapist offers a check in deal. Check in deal states the following: $15 off ANY massage service. I received a 30 minute massage and when I tried to redeem the offer I was told that offer was only for a 60 minute massage. What happened to adding this to the fine print of the offer as other reputable businesses do. Had I known this I would have opted to buy the yelp deal of $55 for $75 worth of services (1 hour message). I ended up paying $45 for 30 minutes when I could have gotten a 1 hour session for only $10 more. Definitely needs to update the check in offer and should have honored the offer for lack of details. Whenever I go to a massage there are key things I look for: 1. Professionalism - ask me where I need additional attention. Ask me about my health history. Simple but you would be surprised how little I am asked this. 2. Pressure - I don't want to constantly tell the massage therapist to add or remove pressure. Just once. 3. Atmosphere - too much light is the worst. I want to be in that sweet spot between sleep and reality. Nice relaxing music and dim lighting is a must. Fragrances and candles. 4. Experience - Do you have education in this field? If not don't pretend and say I have knots and apply excessive Pressure. Bina applies all the above which is hard to do, believe me. Honestly paying a bit more for a 10x better experience is well worth it. You are getting a massage to relieve stress and treat your body, not for a "deal." read more

Pinal is a caring person. She has a lovely studio though it is right by a busy street. At every turn she checks to make sure you are comfortable - top to bottom. The review inspired me to call for a massage - deep tissue. What I received was 20% deep tissue and 80% Esalen or Swedish massage. Perhaps that is exactly what I needed that day and so the Universe responded? Repetitive, long strokes are fine but not deep tissue. Will return to a previous strategy used where I formerly lived in Contra Costa county, i.e. go to a masseuse group, like the one in Santa Rosa downtown where I went once before where a really good massage can be received for $20-30 less and where there is more focus on the knots, tendons, ligaments, joints, acupressure points and less use of forearm - only reaches needed areas 30% of the time and can hurt at the end of the circuit. In checking through yelp had wanted to find an individual practitioner for more personalized service but perhaps I can simply request the same masseuse in a group practice each time. read more

As someone diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, I am very careful of who I see for massage therapy. She takes care of whatever pain issues you may be having with amazing skill. I was diagnosed with third stage breast cancer in May 2019. In July I had a mastectomy and then went through six months of chemotherapy followed by six weeks of radiation. After which I was told that I was cancer free and my treatment was over.
