I ordered a deluxe bouquet for someone as a surprise and asked that the order arrive as close to 5:00pm as possible. Melody's is open until 4:30, and the delivery was to be made less then two miles from their shop, so I thought my order would arrive no earlier than 4:00pm and surprise the recipient (I was actually hoping they would close their shop and deliver the flowers on their way home). To my dismay the order was delivered very early at 1:00pm thus ruining the surprise. It was a simple request that was completely ignored for some reason. I rate this transaction as two stars and not just one because the bouquet itself was very nice. However, the lack of customer service via an inability to follow instructions ruined a very special occasion. read more

Melody's Flowers set me up with a nice bouquet for my visit to the cemetery. Jessica helped me, asked me right away what I wanted to spend, and showed me different flowers they had in their cooler, so I could pick (so many choices!). They went above and beyond, including a pretty fern branch and wrapped the flowers in nice paper, with a ribbon. I will definitely be back again. I found out they deliver too. I had bouquets and boutonnieres done for my wedding. I also ordered loose stems of white irises and pink carnations to be used as table cards. My bridesmaids put them into small bud vases for me. The salesperson that I spoke with was very nice and helpful, and tried her best to acquire pink peonies for me in August (and was successful). I was very interested in the traditional meanings that each type of flower holds, as well as the old tradition of using herbs in wedding bouquets. For the most part they worked with me on this point, and included the flowers that I specifically requested. My only complaint is that they DID include dahlias, even though I had specifically requested NO DAHLIAS (their traditional meaning has to do with deception and treachery - hardly appropriate for a wedding!) I had to have my bridesmaids track them all down and tear them out of the bouquets! Aside from the dahlias, the flowers & presentation were amazingly beautiful. (also quite affordable) read more

It's amazing to me that bad service can infiltrate so many types of business's. I was shocked to receive a Valentine bouquet not only a day late however a dying one too!. The water hadn't been changed for days(evidenced by floating green styrofoam) and the flowers were dropping petals everywhere. It wasn't even the bouquet that was ordered. After a phone call explaining the delivery to a very gruff sales woman she did have another bouquet delivered that was much better and closer to what was ordered. What kept the experience LOW was the cursing, yes I said CURSING by the delivery person to my coworker when he called to get directions. When I attempted to call again to complain, the sales woman would not let me talk to the owner Melody by giving different excuses. Very suspicious service. What kind of place is this?
