Walked in to try and buy some flowers. I was assuming, perhaps erroneously, that I could go in and look at the selection so I wandered briefly into the shop. There was no clear boundary between where I could and could not go, so I wound up getting scolded by the owner. It would be one thing if it she was at least nice about it, but she was condescending and rude. If you don't want customers walking in a certain area how about you make it obvious that they're not supposed to go there and not be shitty about it, you know, like every other store that has a back area? Edit to owner response: You were not actually alone in the store because right after you chewed me out a very friendly gentleman asked me how he could help as I was leaving. You are blatantly lying and that is shameful. How about you take responsibility for your poor customer service and bad store layout? Thanks. read more

I went to North Creek Florist on Halloween to purchase a bouquet of flowers. The owner and her daughter assisted me in putting together a very nice, beautiful bouquet. I recently moved to Bothell, so we had a very pleasant conversation about the area and they made me feel welcome with their friendliness. This business is definitely a mom-and-pop type of place, where customers are valued and appreciated. That's how I felt anyway. I would certainly go back to them. Their prices are reasonable and they make nice sized bouquets for those reasonable, affordable prices. Highly recommend! read more

My office group ordered an arrangement for a funeral of a co-workers mother. $100+ We ordered an arrangement on-line. The photo showed an arrangement with more than 50 stems, very full and colorful. We received a photo of the arrangement that arrived. Less than 25 stems. We phoned the florist who said they substitued other flowers because they didnt have the ones pictured. She said she subsituted with more expensive flowers. The original picture showed roses and daiseys and 3 tall stems. What was received was 3 gladiolas, half a dozen roses and a handful of purple daiseys and filler flowers. We called and were told they felt they did a good job with the arrangement, and maybe it was tossed around by the funeral home. We were very unhappy with our purchase read more

This was the most awkward interaction I've ever had in a business. The young front desk lady was super sweet and helped me pick out exactly what I wanted. But then an older lady who was either the boss or the owner ruined everything. First, she chastised the young lady for selling me something out of their refrigerated case. The boss said something along the lines of, "Don't take those out, we paid someone to make those." She made the front desk lady put them back. Then the older lady told her to make the same bouquet but realized that those were the last ones. Which the front lady basically told me in the beginning, that those are the last ones that they had of that style. So the older lady got all pissy that she made a fool out of herself and started calling the younger lady "honey" in the nastiest of tones. At this point, I was so uncomfortable that I almost left but I needed some flowers so I stood around like an idiot as the older lady took out her aggression on her subordinate who was doing an outstanding job. The next sequence of events made me leave without buying anything and immediately writing this review. So the young lady told me that the price of the bouquet I was interested in was 89.99 with the vase. I told her that I don't need the vase because I have so many. I usually buy flowers with a vase because I'm lazy but my wife has told me to stop doing that because we have too many vases. So I asked how much without the case and she said 59.99. So that makes the vase worth $30. It was a big nice vase and that was a reasonable price. So I pull out my card to pay for that bouquet and the older lady, overhearing our discussion, starts berating the younger lady again. She didn't make much sense because she was fuming! "You can't sell that made up bouquet for 59.99. You have to sell it for full price. Or just give him $10 off don't take that much off." At this point, I was done. The disregard for any customer service from the older lady and the demeaning tone she took with her employee was disgusting. The younger lady kept her cool and smiled and nodded. But the craziest thing was that the older lady turned to me put on the fakest smile and said, "Do you need a Mother's Day card too?" Then she turned away and walked off. I don't get flabbergasted or shocked but I was at this point. I decided this is not a business that I will support. They need to treat their customers better or at least their employees. I hope the front desk lady quits. There are plenty of businesses that would love to have her customer service skills. P.S. The price was not the issue at all. I would have paid the 79.99 happily. It was the nasty tone and disgusting demeanor that turned me away. read more

I've used this florest for over 10 years but I am sad to say I was bitterly disappointed when we picked up a boutonniere for homecoming. (was sure to pick up a few hours before the dance so the flower was fresh.) Just a small white rose that was already brown on two corners, no spray (greens), no ribbon, no baby's breath. The stem was so short I am hoping my daughter can pin it on. Price wasn't any better than the 'other' Mill Creek florest either. I'll be going back to the other florest in the future. I called to explain my disappointment and was told "there is nothing that can be done now - this is a perishable business." I am a very loyal customer, but won't be coming back. read more

If I could give this florist a zero star for customer service I would. I ordered a set of flowers for prom, personally picked out the ribbon/rose color in store. When I picked it up not only was I given the entire wrong set at first but when I got my correct order it was the wrong color roses all together. After speaking with the owner Laura (who had left the store for the day and wasn't coming back to make corrections) prom was that night and I told her we would make do however I wasn't pleased with the wrong order and suggested an in store credit which I was then told "yeah....sorry I can't do that". Never once did Laura try and make it right in the eye of customer service. I'm all for supporting a small business 100% but these guys will not be getting my service again nor will I recommend them to anyone. I have 3 kids to still get through high school and lots of dances ahead...hope your $65 screw up was worth it because it cost you my forever business. read more

I like having fresh flowers all the time and this is the closest florist to my house but unfortunately their selection is not great and the costs are high compared to what you can find at any farmer's market or even at the nearby Central Market. The shop has more gift/trinkets than it does flowers. read more

Jessica was extremely helpful in attempting to get flowers delivered on the same day! Things didn't work accordingly within the delivery, but they were so great at following up with me and keeping me updated. I genuinely appreciated their understanding and help when attempting to deliver more than once. What a disappointment. Spending $85 on flowers that might as well have been picked out of a refrigerator at K-Mart. After receiving the first bouquet, and making the phone call that the flowers were wilting and broken lily petals. They sent a disgusted man that was quick to judge in disagreement to replace it with a second bouquet, that was larger, but looked pretty much the same - wilted flowers and one lily bud even included a 1" stem that was just 'stuffed' in as maybe an after thought.. I am on a very limited budget and wasn't thinking I was going to be able to buy my wife some flowers this year for Valentines Day but last night I was lucky enough to sell something and wanted to have some flowers delivered. So this morning I went on to Google and searched "Florist near me". Well North Creek Florist came up and reviewed well so I clicked on to their website and started looking at their Valentine Day bouquets. I then found one I liked and after selecting it the site had a pop up say, "Order within 4 hrs for guaranteed same day delivery" so I proceeded to add a balloon and some sea salt chocolates. Then after paying and placing the order I decided to call and get an approximate ETA for the delivery. She told me it would be by 5 pm but then after she looked up the order she said, "Wait this delivery is for Kirkland? We can't deliver there and I'm sorry I thought we already shut off orders on the website for the day, we will have to refund you." I couldn't believe what I was hearing. I said, "Well the site had said order within the next 4 hrs for guaranteed same day delivery". She responded, "I'm sorry it says that no matter what day it is and we also can't deliver to Kirkland. Especially on the day of Valentines Day. Your going to have to find a florist near there." I then explained that I was broke and that I wouldn't get my refund in time to be able to place another order, let alone even go to a store to even hand buy my own bouquet. She said, "I don't what to tell you, let me see where my drivers are at and I'll get back to you" She then HUNG UP THE PHONE ON ME without a goodbye or anything. Then shortly afterwards without any phone call I received an email that my order was refunded. Again this is the worst customer service I've ever experienced. Any self respecting customer minded business would of figured out a way to make the order happen considering the circumstances even if it meant that the owner personally hand delivered the flowers for me. Now I won't be able to get her anything at all. Refunds typically take 3-5 business days! Not cool at all! I never write reviews but this was really upsetting, especially because I know my wife got me something and wasn't expecting me to. Please help me teach them a lesson and take your business elsewhere! read more

If I could give it zero stars I would. I ordered flowers for my mother who had just undergone cancer surgery. I placed my order 2 weeks in advance. When I tried to pick them up they were so poorly done I could not accept it. The owners daughter was working that day and said that she didn't know who had made those flowers but they were really ugly and looked like weeds from the back yard. I was so disappointed and upset. They only suggestion was to pick out of the cooler which was all Easter items. Thanks but no thanks. For a profession that has to compete with other floral departments and stores not really the way to do business. read more

This is a great florist. I gave them a list of the types of flowers that my wife likes and when I order arrangements all I need to do is tell them how much money I want to spend and they do the rest. I have been ordering from them for several years and have always had good service. As an example, this year my order for my wife's birthday flowers got lost and did not get delivered when I wanted them to be delivered. When I called them, they said that they would get one to her in the next half an hour. When My wife got the arrangement, it was not up to their normal high quality and my wife was quite disappointed. When I called and let them know the next day, they apologized profusely and said they get a replacement to her right a way. The replacement arrangement was spectacular and up to their normally high standards. I will be using this florist as long as they exist. read more

Worst florist I've ever experienced. The plant was outrageously expensive (over $100), the quality you'd expect from a mass merchandiser, not a premium florist (tips of leaves were browned and dry), and was delivered without a care card. When I called the shop to ask for the name of the plant and how to care for it, the person answering the phone couldn't even tell me how to spell the name of the plant so I could look it up myself. Looking for great florist? Go somewhere else. The only great thing about the florist was the delivery man, who was friendly and cheerful. read more
