I love melt yoga. Power fusion is my favorite. It's a great studio, with awesome teachers and staff.

The locker room is very clean and well-maintained with private showers. The staff is super friendly. Finally, the smoothie bar is a very convenient way to get your supplements after training. I have been billed for that long and didn't know. When I reached out to management about a refund for all the charges, I was met with resistance from Leah and the manager. I asked Aldo to cancel the membership. He redirected me to one of the supervisors in-person. She told me she'd cancel it so I believed that it was. Over the next two years, I didn't get any text, phone, email, or mail notifications saying I still had a membership. Even after I explained all of that, I was blamed for not reaching out to them sooner. I put in a claim with my bank and was able to get a little less than half back. I was thankful I was able to at least something back. Thereafter, I asked for a copy of my contract which really screws you - their word against yours. Please do not sign a contract with them. They will keep your debit card on file which you will not be able to remove yourself. I had to go in person to get it removed off of my account and also told my bank to block charges coming from them. I am very disappointed in my experience with this gym. It is overpriced - $64 a month for everything you get. Not worth it at all. They do not care about their customers whatsoever. The only thing they care about is the money going into their pockets. I have added some of the email correspondence between Leah and me for reference. However, I I could not add all of it. I hope this helps! Leah: Hello Natasha, I apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you however, Aldo has been gone for some time so I cannot account for what was done in the past. I do know we cannot go back that many years and credit you. Had you noticed a few years back you were still being billed from 2022, someone could have possibly done something within a reasonable time frame. I am going to terminate your contract. Leah Me: Hi Leah, I am very disappointed in how this entire process was handled by management. I never thought I'd have to go to these lengths to get what is appropriately owed to me after leaving the gym which I once did enjoy going do and had a great experience at. I didn't think I would have to go through such hoops to be met with resistance and excuses, especially since I was not contacted about my membership that entire time and to reiterate, I had not used the facilities since 2022 when I believed my contract was cancelled. I believed your gym was held to a higher standard than that and I will not be recommending it to anybody in the future. I looked at the contract in Mind Body and could not find an auto-renewal policy/contract from when I was charged $45 to $64. Please send me that contract. Sincerely, Natasha

I am sure the classes are good, if only I was able to get there. So I was visiting from out of…read moretown, and booked a class with this studio on the MINDBODY app. I followed the directions of Google Map to try to get to the studio (518 Mill Street). However, Google Map led me to a building where there were no yoga studios. It took me a few minutes and asking around to figure out that the studio was down the street (the street numbers must have shifted on this street). When I finally reached the studio, the class was already in session and the studio was locked. So I did not get to go to the class. I called the business number listed on MINDBODY (both before and after the class start time), the number was either invalid or unreachable. Then afterwards I called the number listed under the business on google, it went to voicemail. I left a message and asked for a call back, but no one called me back. The studio looks really nice from outside. I really wish I had been able to take that class. But I think the business is somewhat responsible for making sure customers can find them, and when confusion occurred, they should be responsible for closed loop communication. I ended up doing yoga with a YouTube video in my hotel room. ADDENDUM: the business reached out to me via email and offered a refund. I guess they now just need to contact google maps to update their location.

But what about the rest of the class culminating up to savaasana?), or would treat someone that passed gas during downward dog as some kind of rude anathema, just unprofessional overall. It's no wonder I hesitated a bit before finding another yoga studio in NEPA. I would resort to doing yoga at home. By the way, Tara Stiles is fabulous! I started working in Danville not too long after the infancy of this equally fabulous and beautiful yoga studio. Hardwood floors, nice clean and fun vibe, Lululemon yoga mats (Oh, I just get tickled with delight over Lulu!), and knowledgeable, seemingly grounded yoga instructors make this studio a breath of fresh air. There's a variety of classes for your needs...would love to drop in to a rooftop class when it's warmer out. There's a gift shop in the reception area that sells beautiful jewelry made by women in developing countries to clothing and candles. Now if only my budget allowed, I would happily be here more. Until then, Tara Stiles shall do but hey - at least I have been keeping up my weekly practice.

I went full Yogi this weekend on a 2 day retreat at the Himalayan Institute and it was ohmazing…read more The institute hosts lots of yoga and meditation retreats of different lengths and price points which you can sign up for on their website. The one I chose was $250 for Friday evening to Sunday afternoon. There are several types of accomodations you can choose from, ranging from single beds in a shared bathroom to a lovely 2 bedroom 2 level cottage with a pullout couch and kitchenette and lots of teas. We stayed at a cottage and really liked it. We saw some giant cockroaches by the dorm rooms, so don't come expecting the Four Seasons here. The wifi is spotty in the rooms and basically everywhere except the cafe. Meals are served for only limited times during the day (about an hour and a half) - buffet style and you put your used plates/ bowl/ cutlery into large bins after. For lunch and dinner there are usually a few soups, a main dish (for example baba ganoush and pita, quinoa salad), some rice or grains, a salad bar, some fruit, and an assortment of breads (including a gluten free bread) and everything is vegetarian. For breakfast there was oatmeal and some other grains, yogurt, fruit, a delicious tofu scramble, hard boiled eggs, and a smoothie. The food is surprisingly good and filling but I don't know that I could eat it for more than a few days. Meals are $30 a day which you reserve when you book your accommodation. There is also a black tea and decaf tea always available so bring a travel mug! There is a beautiful new shrine open almost 24 hours for quiet meditation. There is also a sanctuary in the shrine which is open for only an hour before breakfast and dinner. There are small blankets you can grab to sit on and chairs around the altar. If you're feeling like a warrior and want to practice tree pose on a tree, you can take one of the 5 hiking trails around the area. Red is very well marked, blue is well marked until it's not and then you just turn right, walk through 2 holes in fences and you're at a beautiful waterfall! Green is well marked for half of it (around a cute pond) and then you might get lost in the woods (or maybe that's just me). There were a few other trails we didn't get to check out but the reception area has a map with the routes and estimated times. There are daily Hatha yoga classes at the institute that you can attend, a cute cafe, and a great gift shop with awesome clothes, books, jewelery, everything a yogi could ever want! There's also a chocolate factory with daily tours (and samples!) We loved the lemon ginger chocolate. Right next to the chocolate factory is a place called Sound of Music Hill which has beautiful views. You can also book massages (1hr for $80) which is a really great price and very relaxing. There is a small playground for kids too. If you are looking to deepen your yoga practice and get away for a weekend and enjoy nature, unplug, and stay in one place all weekend where you don't have to make any decisions, I can't recommend this place enough.

This was such a great chance to hit the pause button and reset myself! I did not realize how much I really really needed this. I finished an hour of reiki feeling so at peace and relaxed. It felt like a weight had been lifted off of me. The salt cave is so nice and such a beautifully zen place. (I want a salt cave in my home now) Diana is hands up and down amazing. She's so patient, open minded, understanding, & has such a warm welcoming personality. I did an hour of reiki with her and wish I lived closer to go more often. She has an amazingly warm and gentle touch that made this reiki session even more comforting! Once we finished the session, the messages she had received and given me from the session were SPOT ON! It was exactly what I have been saying and feeling and wanting to work on and what I needed to hear and helped motivate me further. If you are looking for somewhere to go and press pause /reset & decompress, I highly recommend going here, you won't regret it.
