The stylist graciously agreed to do a full highlight despite the fact that she had only allotted time for a partial. I ended up having to wait while she cut another appointment's hair, but that was totally understandable and fine with me. Did my hair end up looking amazing? As close to amazing as was possible based on how I had come in. Definitely better and more acceptable than how I had walked in the door. She did try to convince me to have the hair amongst the highlights colored to help my sad situation, lol, but I decline. I didn't want to spend the additional money at that point. The salon is nice and clean. As it was the weekend the woman's daughter was there watching tv - music videos. That was a little obnoxious, but whatever. Another employee was working a couple of chairs down from us. I got the impression that the customers who came in to see him as well as the customer who my stylist took care of while I waited were regulars. Would I go back? I think so. This isn't a place I would go to for an incredibly detailed service, but for a basic touch up I would go back. I am so glad they understood I only had socks on due to swelling from surgery. I had a nice guy cut my hair. He was so understanding as it had been quite a while since my last haircut. Been about 6 weeks since surgery and about 3 weeks before that since my last cut. I agreed w him that it had been quite a bit too long. He stated that as a fact and certainly not I felt in a judging manner at all. Currently 14 for men's cut. I gave a good tip as it had been a while. I was in and out quickly. They thanked me as I left I will be back soon. Glad it is near my favorite subway restaurant. Think that is a great thing as I can eat then get a cut. Very happy with my cut here.

I have had the opportunity to have many really good hairdressers do my hair. For me the problem always was consistency. Face it. If you find a style and love it, you want that quality of cut and style every time. Well I will tell you I have been going to Suzy St. Roman for YEARS and not one time have I been disappointed. Suzy is the only one who has cut my hair for several years. She is so talented and skilled. Her advice on product never feel pushy. And she is a master at cutting techniques and is not a one cut fits all. She cuts your hair the way you want it in the way your type of hair needs to be cut to achieve what you want. You will be so happy! So don't wait another hair cut longer! I get so many compliments on my hair. If she moves to Timbuktu, I'm going with her seriously try her you won't be sorry.
