Got to talk to a really nice man there (who I later learned is the owner). He gave us some ideas of things to do while in Waco and he helped me set up an appointment with Stephanie. The shop is a really low key, casual atmosphere, but I felt totally comfortable. Stephanie did a great job and totally got the vibe of what I was going for while putting her own spin on it! They don't have many pictures on this listing of women or undercuts, so I wanted to be sure to review. It's really hard when traveling for work to find places that can accommodate an undercut like I am used to doing. Champions did a great job and I'm so happy I found them. She started by saying no pets allowed of which I responded that she is a service dog. She then yelled at me is she certified. This to me was an uneducated response as why would I state she is a service dog if this was not the case. So she implied I was a liar. She clearly has no idea how you deal with someone with a service dog or laws around them because she had asked questions that were inappropriate and then accuse me of being fake. She claimed it was because my dog was looking around and not sitting. What she does not know is this is the behavior she is trained to do to gain my focus on her and not the situation getting me upset. The front person literally chased me out of the store calling me rude for calling her out. She was completely wrong and violated my rights under ADA law. I would strongly suggest to Sport Clip to review the law. If you're handicapped or disabled with a service animal do not give them your business.
