Booked an appointment for today. Drove all the way out there. Phoned when I got there because that is what their website requested due to Covid. No one answered and the door was locked. Phoned 3 times and finally left a message saying I was standing outside and would go back to my car to wait for their call to let me in. I finally Left at 3:30. It is 6:30 now and still no phone call. Count myself lucky as if their actual services are as crappy as customer service they did me a favour!! I was looking for a local piercing shop when I came across I-Kandy, I decided to try it out as I just wanted a small tragus piercing. Their piercings are on a walk-in basis so I walked in and was pleased with what I saw. The place is very clean and well kept. The receptionist was warm and friendly. I told her I wanted a tragus piercing and she handed me a form to fill out and within 10 minutes I was sitting in the piercing chair. Mihela did my piercing and she was great, very nice, calm, informative, I really felt comfortable with her doing my piercing. She prepared me well for the pain and next thing I know it was over. 20 minutes was all it took for the whole experience, I was very pleased. It's been two days now and my piercing is healing great, it doesn't hurt at all, it actually feels as if I've already had it for years. I think this is a sign of a good piercer. Came in to get a tattoo , this being my first I wanted it to be perfect and exactly how I wanted . Explained what I wanted to reception , the receptionist said no it wouldn't work . I showed her it was possible from a picture I found done on someone else , she still said no it wouldn't work . The tattoo I wanted was for wrist . This place is not only disrespectful to customers and those coming in for questions. They won't fix you tattoo. Ever. The prices are through the roof for the shittiest tattoos I have ever seen. When you complain. They send you on your way. The tattoo will not only fade super fast. I'm wondering what kind of ink they used. They also have piercers and tattoo artists under the influence. This is not actually a review, but a response to 'Ayden B's review. As a professional piercer, I would just like to ensure that the public is not misinformed. The difference between freehand piercing and piercing with tools is simply technique, and the end result should be exactly the same regardless of which method is used. Different piercers use a variety of different tools for various reasons. There are many professionals who regard tools as 'training wheels' until more advanced skills are learned as experience is gained, and less tools are required to achieve the same results. Obviously I have not seen the piercing in question here, but if I was to speculate from a piercer's point of view, the piercing was probably done on such an angle to prevent the jewelry from sitting on the client's teeth and wearing away at their enamel. That being said, if ever a client is unhappy with their piercing or unsure of why it was done the way it was, it's their responsibility to talk to their piercer about it, rather than posting uninformed reviews of their work. Every piercer I know takes pride in their work, and has every intention of educating their clients and ensuring they leave their shop with work they are happy with. If you have a poor experience after attempting to resolve an issue, that's when you can go writing negative reviews. read more

I will not recommend I-Kandy for anything I went in and booked an appointment for a tattoo and unfortunately could not make the consultation appointment because of a work emergency. I called and told them on their answering machine that night. I received an attitude when they called me and did not care that it was unforeseen and I was told I had to give 24 hour notice how does one give 24 hour notice when something comes up which is unforeseen. I guess when there is an emergency you need to plan it. I find them unprofessional and I have had tattoo's before and was never treated like that. They kept my 50.00 and would not let me book unless I paid again. I work as an Account Manager and if I ever treated my customers like that I would not have any. There customer service and understanding is the worst I have ever experienced in my life. I am telling everyone that I know NOT to use them for anything. read more

I have had 8 piercings done by Mihela. She is very professional and very calming. I would trust her to do any piercing that you need done. The shop is getting busier so I think word must be getting around. You don't get line ups if you're not supplying a good service. read more

I was hesitant to visit this shop after reading "Ayden B"s review (even though I know from experience that clamps aren't always used). My sister, however, was hell-bent on getting her septum pierced. So, in we went. My first impression of the shop itself was a good one. The place was well laid out, clean and open, not crowded or dirty as many shops tend to be. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and my mother and I also decided to get piercings (nostril and tragus, respectively). The piercer was efficient and informative. She was obviously very experienced. The piercing room and tools were clean and professional. She also gave me some assistance with my navel ring (the bead would not come off) and helpful information on my conch piercing-- neither of which gave her any profit at all. My ex girlfriend came here to get her lip peirced..for some reason the guy didnt use a clamp, just held her lip and gave her an extremley crooked peircing. She cant wear anything but a tiny ring in it because it basically comes out threw the top of her lip...which would be great if she wanted an inverted piercing but she didnt...a place that doesnt use a clamp to line it up properly is no place for me. read more

Very friendly staff and creative artists,but i personally had a bad experience,i went in and got a tattoo done,by an artist name collis,after i had come back for touchups a few weeks later the artist was no longer working there,then asking about getting the touchups done the manager then told me that it would take to long to set up the guns to touchup and that if i wanted touchups on my tattoo,i would have to buy another tattoo and get the touchups done with the new tattoo.Its pretty shocking that id have to go spend another 100$ at least on a new tattoo so i could my touchup from the last tattoo done,especially when they werent busy that day.overall because of this i rate it low on poor service,not the artwork they do read more

I had two piercings done here and regret both of them. My navel piercing wasn't pierced deep enough and had a large portion of the bar hanging out at all times, and eventually rejected. My tongue piercing fell out while I was sleeping soonish after piercing and I swallowed one of the balls, I went in when they were open to go get another one and see if they could put it back in for me. The guy didn't even try, he just looked at my tongue, said no, and told me I'd have to shell out more cash to get it repierced. He was also incredibly rude about the entire thing. I called around to a few other piercing places, and found one that was willing to gauge the hole back up to the point that I could put the jewellery back in. They normally charge $10 for this, but she only charged me $5 because of the bad experience I had had, even though it had nothing to do with them. I would never come here again. read more
