My family and I decided to go play mini golf at the Memorial minigolf and museum. We went on a Monday at around 2:00 pm. Luckily the weather was in the 70s which was really nice for a January day. We drove up and parked easily. We then went to pay the rate for 4 adults, got our clubs, chose our golf balls, and we were off. There were a few people there with families on the course but we basically had the course to ourselves. It was a course with a practice spot and then 18 holes to play. It was very informative and fun. There were stands at each hole with a set of photos and historical information. Plus the actual course had slight slopes, and a few fun obstacles. After golfing we went inside the small museum. There were several artifacts and some historical information to look at and read about. On a side note they have two bathrooms with soap and running water which is a positive. Overall it was a fun afternoon on a nice day. The mini golf course is fun and informative. The museum is small and interesting. If you like history and mini golf this would be a good place to visit and play on a nice day. read more

Gorgeous mini-golf course! The family had a blast. The WW2 theme is fun, educational, and the museum is filled with items from neighbors in the community. Our kid wants to have her birthday party there and my wife's office is looking to plan an event especially with the mini disc golf course. This isn't going to be the even close to the best mini golf you've ever played, but there are a few creative holes. But what's neat is how you learn something about war around the world on each hole. I especially related to the bombing of Pearl harbor, being from Hawaii. Don't sneak in your own beverages even though it's expensive to buy drinks (yes alcohol too)... my understanding is the profits go to a good cause and fixing up the memorial. read more

It was my family's first time here and we will definitely be returning! It was both fun and educational, seeing actual pieces of history make it even more interesting. 10/10 Mini Golf place! Staff is very friendly and the course was fun. Each hole is even based off of a battle of WW2, and it was cool reading the history of each battle on the little signs they have. We also checked out their mini museum and fell in love with the history and all the stories of the memorabilia. This a very cool spot! We took the kids out one afternoon and seeing all the different holes set up as different themes was very interesting. All the information was extremely educational to the kids. The museum inside was incredible. Seeing all the displays like a nazi flag next to a holocaust memorial showed just what hate can do. The kids were very interested in everything and reading about it all. Overall a wonderful experience in fun and education. read more

I LOVE the theme of this mini golf place! I've driven along 1624 past this place many times when it was under construction and was excited to try it out- finally got the chance to today! I knew that it had a WWII history museum as part of the attraction, but I had no idea that all 1-18 holes were designed off of key events of WWII in chronological order! The clever use of different colored putting "green" create maps of geographical locations (like Japan and Italy) or top-down views of battleships, submarines, and more! At the start of each hole is an informational plaque to read and follow along learning about the events of the war as you go. (My history-obsessed husband actually seemed to enjoy this aspect of it more than the golf, LOL.) Honestly, this was so refreshing to see, because most mini golf places are the same kitschy cheap-o theme. The grounds are nice and new at the moment, everything is in excellent repair with good landscaping. The price is a little bit high, but well worth it in my opinion. Admission also allows you entry to the museum, which is air conditioned (the owner recommended we putt the first nine holes then come in for a respite and return to the last nine holes, and it was good advice). You'll see a lot of neat uniforms, firearms, and other military equipment along with reading material. There are snacks and drinks available for a semi-reasonable price as well, and some merch for sale like t-shirts, stickers, pins, magnets, etc. There are two gender-neutral bathrooms which are well-stocked, clean, and have a baby changing table. The site has ample picnic tables, a food truck, and a Bahama Buck's trailer (these were not open when we were there during a weekday, but I imagine they are on the weekends). There's a fun play structure for kids in the shape of an airplane where you can climb up into the cockpit to sit and then shoot down the slide and pretend you're a paratrooper! So cool! They are also equipped to host birthday parties. =) read more

This place is a hidden little gem me and my son went on an afternoon outing. They have a great World War II theme and museum inside. The course was a lot of fun and challenging loved all the history at each hole that you could read about important not to forget our military history and the people that gave their life for us. I love this place because it's very important for the youth to never forget and also it's really cool they also have a couple of food trucks and a great picnic sitting area with playground will definitely be back. read more

Our family of four enjoyed a great 2 day staycation in their new treehouse that is literally up within a few of the live oak trees on their property. The A/C worked perfect and kept the place very cool even during the summer 100+ degree hot streak that we've been experiencing. We brought our own board/card games and spent some time inside during the warmer hours. The upstairs loft has two comfortable twin beds that the kiddos really enjoyed and the downstairs was a plush king bed that allowed us to sleep very well over our stay. The place even has a microwave, WiFi, TV, mini fridge, and a normal flushing toilet with running water! My wife and I particularly enjoyed waking up early and slowly consuming our coffee on the front porch while peacefully reading books. We noticed dozens of birds in the nearby canopies ... several different species. Road noise was minimal outside on the porch and non-existent inside the tree house. We even got to play a few rounds of complementary mini gold during our stay. The course requires some skill but it was fun for us to get better and better every time we played it. We will be coming back for sure. If you are wanting to experience a super fun stay in a unique location, look no further! read more

Really fun in concept and very creative turf patterns but the course is almost unplayable, particularly for kids. The courses don't have borders and are very uneven so unless you're able to knock in hole-in-ones, the ball is rolling out of bounds into the gravel. Pretty pricey for mini golf and the course isn't very well designed. Holes 1-5 all slope dramatically to the side, so even if you have a good shot, the ball is going to naturally roll away from where it landed. Not a great course for kids. read more

Nice combination of fun and education. Each hole has a specific World War II theme along with a plaque describing the hole. Many holes are dedicated to someone that served in the war. A great deal of thought and effort have gone into this. The museum continues to grow. If the owner is around when you're there, he'll be more than happy to discuss the course and "The Greatest Generation." When playing the course, remember the cardinal rule of golf, everything slopes toward the water and there's a creek down there. read more

Lovely place, great surroundings. Very relaxing. The greens are all sitting on an angle. Very tricky! Don't hit it too hard because the balls go off the green, out in the rough, on the next green. There's no backboard to stop the ball and keep it in play. I prefer a less "professional " kid putting golf course. My granddaughter was ready to go after the 3rd hole. The concept and theme of this place is wonderful, and I love the incorporation of history into something entertaining for kids. The period music played over the speakers is pleasant, and the information provided about different phases and aspects of the War are cool for us history buffs. But too long for most kids to read, and also would slow down everyone playing. The museum is pretty neat with some very cool artifacts, that I'm glad have found a publicly accessible home. I think I'll go back sometime and read a WW2 book on the observation deck, and enjoy the music and a cup of "Joe". And the staff was very helpful and friendly. However the actual miniature golf course has some design issues. I think maybe it was designed by someone who had not actually built a mini golf course before? And is hard for non-golfers the wrong reasons. Miniature golf courses should be hard because of fun gimmicks, obstacles and silly apparatuses etc. But this one is hard because most of the course was built on an unleveled slope. And the holes are always built on top of domed concrete, for some odd reason. Probably for over designed drainage. Every missed small putt ends back in the rocks. About 90% of every putt you make ends up either in the rocks or against a border wall. Which gets really old after the first few holes. If we play again I'm bringing one of those ball scoopers to constantly fish balls out of rock crevices, etc. They should consider renovating next winter and re-leveling about half the holes on the course. Or add some mounds and backstops to help keep your ball on the course. And add a few more WW2 centric apparatus to the course for kids entertainment. I hope they do that, to make the place a more sustainable and long term attraction for the kids. And more for just us small demographic of WW2 history buffs. read more

This is a great place. The course is new and in great shape, but quite difficult. Really long holes and no boundaries. Just forget the score card and have fun!
