We LOVED this little slice of nature where you don't even notice you are in the bustling village. It has some small trails that follow the creek and it is full of birds and chipmunks etc. We have a bird app where it tells you what birds you are hearing/seeing and we got 4 new birds that we have never had yet. We will definitly tack on a peaceful walk here every time we go out to dinner in Hamburg now.

Me and my husband walked all of the trails (they're quite short) but it was such a peaceful, well kept park! The girl scouts even made a little fairy trail which is adorable. It was so quiet here and you'd never know it's right in the village! Don't follow Google Maps to the "entrance" that's right in the village. Go to the entrance that shows in the middle of a residential neighborhood. That's where the park is.

Small park with a couple of ponds, large grassy area, few paved walking trails, bathroom facilities. Bandstand / amphitheater - waiting for summer concert series to make it come alive! New parking lot - glad they finally paved a black top one. A muddy mess on a rainy day when you had to park your car on the grass - no more! A few benches to sit and enjoy the evening breeze and catch up with a dear, long time, friend tonight. We walked our dogs along the paved pathways. Several folks enjoying the warm evening outdoors sitting on folding chairs or blankets. Kids playing catch. Playground area on one side. A decent, clean, neighborhood park.

Bassett Park is a very small town park at the corner of Bassett and Klein Rd in Williamsville. The grandstand was expanded last year and at the same time the parking area was as well. The main occupants of the park seem to be ducks, geese, and what looks like a local school track team that can be seems frequently running around the park. A couple of years ago an art sculpture was placed in the park. I personally think it's placed too far back to be thoroughly enjoyed. To me it looks like kids 'pick up sticks', for those that remember them. It's suppose to be thought provoking and that's my thought. Come in the summer and check out the concerts!

It's basically a kept lawn and open space to gather. In the summertime, you'll see people laying out here in blankets, musicians, acroyoga practitioners and a farmer's market that takes place every Saturday. In the winter -- it's pretty dead, aside from all the free residential parking that you can find. During the summertime, the Elmwood Village Association puts together a weekly event on Tuesdays as a community gathering with live music and food. I definitely enjoy Bidwell Park in the warmer weather months. It's a great place to people watch or to get a blanket and curl up in the city, or to walk through it to get to the next park...Delaware Park -- and just keep going until you go through all of the Olmsted Park System!

Being of polish heritage; curiosity had brought me to see changes; since covid; first hit. I loved the archway when you walked in; and was pleasantly surprised to see new food vendors. Great addictions were Mazureks Bakery, Bacik vendor, who has her own cooking show on Sundays in the evening , and Polish Cadets. Learned in addition, how the polish decorative eggs are made and the work and skill that goes into it. The rest of the festival was the same status quo. Liked how one didn't feel crowded in the food tent. Great job organizers.

There is a tennis net, volleyball net and basketball court. There's also a playground and plenty of shelters. Usually there are soccer or baseball games going at the entrance of the park, but it never seems to get overcrowded. If you're looking for a green area, here you have it!

I came out to Knox for the Borderland Music Festival. Now I know it's completely different when…read morethere is something happening but I had to talk about the beauty of this park. First off, I feel like the walking trails here are nice. More markers would be cool, but I like the ease of the trails. They have a dog park too which is great. I can't wait to come back with my pup before the snow and have her run around too. Everything is very open which makes it even more awe-inspiring and beautiful on a summer day. I also love all of the old architecture here too with the old stables, main house, etc. It really feels like a different place when you step foot on property. LIke being transported through time almost. The music festival was awesome here. I think the lay of the land, the older buildings, and the beauty of the park really amplify the event and make it feel even better than other possible locations in the area. I will definitely be back to visit the park, and back for the music festival.

Stopped by here on a Wednesday evening for a free live concert by the Kensington's. The park was…read morenot very crowded with only a few hundred people attending. Parking was convenient and free in a grass lot across the street. The band put on a marvelous show even though it was a bit chilly on a late May evening close to the lake. The park has an interesting mix of walkways, lawns and interpretive displays explaining the rich maritime history of the area. Restrooms were in the form of porta potties and a full range of concessions were available on site including warm and cold food and a wide selection of alcohol. As the evening progressed the band continued harmonize some complex tunes including an incredible rendition of The Rolling Stones 'Dead Flowers' and the Beatles 'A Day in the Life'. The views from the park were amazing with the bandstand in the foreground and Riverworks lit up across the river. Certainly felt like the place to be. Free concerts during the summer every Wednesday.

Cazenovia Park might be on the smaller size, but due to its location on the creek it provides…read moreenough nice views for a hike around the park. Trails are paved and maintained and the open areas of green give a nice calming presence. The creek is still with a small waterfall; enough to complete the relaxing vibe. Richard Olmsted style buildings can be found on the lawns and although they are closed to the public, the still give the park a distinct Buffalo feel that locals will know too well. Baseball diamonds and playground equipment are currently sitting unused right now but allude to the other potential activities the park offers. Good for a stroll, a bike ride, or standing on the bridge and watching the ducks swim by!

We had a group of about 15 people and we were the only ones there. They have a nice pool and pool house that opens next week. I'm sure the place will be much more crowed then! Besides that there's a picnic pavilion, a small walking path, and large parking lot. Not a big place to explore, actually very small, but nice for our purpose. I'm sure in the summer the pool is the big draw. Will need to go back to get more pictures.

The pool is great for the kids; they took lessons there and what a dedicated staff of young people that did a wonderful job instructing! From leery of the water to jumping in over a matter of a few classes, it was so good to see this development over a few short weeks. There are swings for siblings to enjoy or other playground equipment for fun. The fenced off pool area has plenty of grassy seating beyond, mostly bring your own chair, but a few benches. The locker rooms were a bit aged and could use an update. The park is a nice place to hang out!
