Such a let down after they renovated it for 2 years…read more I used to love sitting at a table in the shade with my book and watch my family bring our dogs down there to play and now I can't even do that because the tables and chairs are gone and they build up the rock wall around the beach. The beach is still inaccessible there are giant cement blocks so it's not a straight shot down for a wheelchair and the grass around them is very uneven and hilly like ground for a wheelchair to go over and I got stuck in the rocks and had to ask people to help push me out, then on the way back to the walk way (video I posted) my wheelchair was going to flip. There are small simple things that they could have been done, I've been to other beach's that have strips over the sand/ rocks that wheelchairs can ride over. The building looks nice they added a small golf course. To me it seems like all they did was build the restaurant and build up the rock walls especially around the beach.

As summer 2026 is just ahead of us and I'm looking forward to going. But before they started the…read morenew renovations I would take my grand dogs and my dog there and play in the water. It was a great day to sit in our lawn chairs and look towards the sky. A giant octopus, some kites with really long tails, a parrot, a unicorn. Lots of colors and shapes. There was a tent for kids to make their own kites and a candy give-a-way, also for the kids. Surprised that I saw no food trucks, but they might have been at the other end of the field.

The road within the park could use a lot more than temporary tar and a shovel of stuff that does NOT stay long before the potholes return. They should do it correctly and right, when they consider the crowds that frolic and play here. There isn't even true permanent bathroom facilities here till last year sometime, when temporary facilities were installed. A lot of investment and work is needed here before the park sinks into the sunset. Park is closed after sunset so don't even think of coming here to enjoy the Milky Way or meteor showers, etc. Police will come chase you off.

At Bennett Beach: the lifeguards and the Erie County Park Rangers Are rude, dicourteous and…read moreunprofessional. There is very limited swimming area to enjoy swimming when there is a large crowd. The county is so strict on No Alcohol and no dog on the beach. However, they are not so strict on marijuana being on the beach. Its a decent family beack to bring you Kids just dont bring your Floaties or these ahole lifegaurds will makes little kids cry. My county tax dollars should go elsewhere and NO THIS DUMP!!!!!!!!

The Jewish Repertory Theater is located inside the JCC. It is a small theater , maybe 100-125…read moreseats. The theater is acoustically pretty good; the seats are comfortable. The play we saw today was a bit offbeat.

The JCC is a clean and family friendly facility, just right for my needs of a winter place to…read moreworkout. It's convenient, there is plenty of parking and the entry is secure. Members are issued a fob to use to enter the facility. The front desk person almost always greets us. There are plenty of machines, and many treadmills and stationary bikes - seldom out of order. Spray containers of disinfectant and loads of white wash clothes abound for members to wipe down equipment. I feel obliged to note that I was duly unimpressed by the group fitness class I attended. On my first visit, the instructor was curt and unwelcoming, barking at me that I wouldn't like the class, in front of the class. She never met me. Knew nothing about my abilities nor interest. The classmates were kind and told me I'd get "used to her". Ah. No. No. No; wrong on so many levels. Especially when a newbie comes to class, who might be self conscious or introverted or scared to attend an exercise class. People will never forget how you made them feel. (Said Maya Angelou) It is a joy to see people of all ages and abilities using the machines. I've seen elders on the bikes and tweens on the treadmills. Wee ones stroll by from the daycare area to play in their own area apart from the adults. There are large tvs and music is also piped in. It feels like a completely non-judgmental environment, and aside from the group class encounter, it's my kind of place.
