I've been coming here for a few years and I absolutely love it. Its a great place to spend time with friends and family during the summer. It's a man-made lake. Has a smaller kiddie slide and a few tunnel slides for the older kids... There is also a snack truck and two areas with bathrooms. This is so much better than having to drive down the shore. Part of the Fair Lawn residents DNA- this pool provides great swimming lessons and camp for kids and ales sons for adults- always a great spot to chill from the time we were kids and continuing today- The could and should provide possible concierge services to seniors who come to the pool and would like to swim- these seniors need help getting in and out of the pool- but don't always have assistance - they can get to the pool area but would greatly benefit from help- There would be more people buying annual memberships if this service were to be provided- Also adding wait staff services - it's atypical to a community pool area but no reason not to be competitive with private clubs- and too adding revenue producing services for different demographics read more

This place is great. The pool is super clean, the guests are friendly and the overall ambiance is fantastic. However, I must say that the "volunteers" who check badges are absolute delinquents. They manage to ruin your mood as soon as you walk in and act as if they have authority. Another downside to Memorial Pool is how ridiculously strict they are with activity in the pool. Now dont get me wrong I totally understand the hazards of certain actions or wrongplay. But people should not be yelled at for the things such as "do not throw the ball this far". Beware, do not place your belongings by any lifegaurd. It will drive you nuts read more

Came here with a friend on a guest past and was amazed how Clean and quiet it was ! Couldn't ask for more!!kids have to take a swimming test before heading out in the deeper middle section or the slides. I didn't realize that at first. I wish I lived in fair lawn just for the pool!! read more

Went here the other weekend with my 4 yo. My son had a blast! Sand, warm and clean water...was kinda crowded but it's expected))) Really nice alternative to the trip to the ocean: close by, the kid can actually enjoy warm water and spend there as much time as he wants! Plus there's a playground. And no hassle with a parking. Love it! read more

This place is so great. Starting from staff including the supervisor Chelsea "I believe that's how you spell her name" she made us feel so welcome and my children hugged her and thank her for help. My children don't hug any strangers. This made us feel like we were home. But I have any input I would suggest to please change the food that is served here. Went here today... have been here in the past and the "service was so much better " when you check in some of the women look like they are miserable. They don't smile and act like they're doing you a favor. The manager is the same. There is a lifeguard area and most of them sit there talking about people . I was sitting close to this area and they were speaking so loud about members. One guard in particular who seemed to be the "supervisor " lol was the worst of them. I was there for about 4 hours and she talked and ate the whole time. Bossed everyone around and did NOTHING. when she did do anything I noticed she was on the bullhorn being unnecessarily nasty to members via bullhorn. Trust me she didn't need one. I could go on. It was a very unpleasant experience from the management and hearing the guards making fun of people loud enough to hear. Not surprised when the top and middle " management " is inept and not concerned about customer service. Overall it's a nice pool . That's the only reason we go there. read more

The web site is poorly designed, no info about daily fees or out of town guests. I wanted my Sons to go there with me because when i was a child my parents took me there for entire summers. (we lived a few blocks away) So after waiting on a long line to pay for day passes that would of been a ridiculous price of $20 per person Adult or Kids same price. When i was in the process of paying the girl asked for my Fair Lawn ID. a sign on the web site would have saved us a 1/2 hr drive. A sign in the Trailer line would of saved us another 20 minutes. So let me save others from time wasted in the town of Fair Lawn. NO OUT OF TOWN GUESTS ARE WELCOME AT MEMORIAL PARK POOL. I would give them ZERO Stars but it wasn't an option. went today as a guest. old lady complained of kids playing close to water with sand and how unsafe it is for lifeguards. they guy who checks passes (Robert) approaches me with kids around and tells me angry that they can't play there and dig and to move away. he went in to say it's a rule. i tools him i've been coming here and has never a problem. he plainly said to move. then he went to talk to the old lady complaining and chatted with her and lady loudly said to my kid it's your fault and the Robert did not say anything to her. so kids flatted our area and knocked down their castle. my oldest was just playboy right in front of her not creating holes and just holding a shovel and he then approached us again and yelled at us while old lady was smiling. mid you there were other kids also digging and such but nothing was said to them. all boils down to the old lady not wanting to walk around things being built and being an old grouchy lady who hates kids and fun. so when robert approached me the last time he really ticked me off but i compelled myself since kids were around and just left the pool. old lady kept staring at my kid and giving her nasty looks. meanwhile Robert was ok with her actions. so we packed up as well as the friend who invited us. then we ran into her friend who is a member and we questioned him if it's a rule and he said no and didn't understand why robert was targeting us. as we left we saw more kids playing and creating holes in sand and nothing was said to them. if it was a rule robert should of enforced it with everyone!! i then drove around and decided to ask another guy if kids were not allowed to do such a thing and he said their was no such rule. very aggravating with what robert and old lady has done. robert should of approached old lady to stop complaining and not just bow to what she wanted. took picture of robert and old lady for a heads up. also as well as other kids doing same things as our kids were but were not told anything. i also check grand opening pictuof memorial pool and in fact kids were also playing by water building things. read more
