I developed a UTI and called the office and requested an appt or medication to be sent to my pharmacy. UTI's are not something to slack around with. The longer you go, the more painful it gets. When i spoke to a staff member, i was told that i could come in the following day after 3pm. Now, i had a choice. Go to the ER and get medication or ask the staff member to reconsider this as an emergency because i needed medication.... She said, 'Tomorrow afternoon is the best we can do." That was it. When you treat patients like this, it's time to fire the doctor and find another one. Believe me, I emailed the doc and told him exactly what transpired.. All the staff had to do was call in my medication to my pharmacy and i would have been out of pain, by evening. But the staff member didn't take the doctor into consideration and the possibility of the doctor being fired. Dr. McKenzie needs to have his staff retrained, or replaced. It's bad for his business.

His staff is amazing and understanding, helpful and reliable when it comes to helping you in whole. I have never had any complaints with this facility because they've always taken care of me and my family member. Let me be clear, We are not related to Dr Chin or any staff in this Office but we get treated as if we're family. Even to the day I have started coming back with Dr Chin this year because I left due to Insurance reasons since nothing has changed. It's the same energy as before as if I'm family, everyone remembers me, especially Dr Chin. 10/10 I recommend them to anyone.

But this place is got a good potentials, initially. The staff were extremely nice and friendly. We did not get to see the doctor in the initial visit. Instead we saw the PA who basically just took down our medical history for future references I guess. We were supposed to get our blood lab work done in the same visit. But somehow due to some unforeseen circumstances, we were denied at first. After pleading with the staff we were then allowed to get the blood work done. It's weird to me because we always get our blood work done. In the same annual physical visits. We never had to "request" for this service. Oh well, not all the offices were as nice as our previous doctor. Probably will still go back for our next annual check ups. But the next time I'll make sure I request to get the blood work done in the same visit!

He directly stated that he "would die" if he had a procedure, without providing clear explanations or showing empathy. Furthermore, he didn't allow discussion of high blood pressure, ignoring a serious concern. To make matters worse, the patient needed a prescription for his blood pressure, and they refused to give it with the excuse that "his doctor had never prescribed it," even though it's clearly recorded in the system. Very strange and totally irresponsible. As I told the secretary on the phone, I hold them responsible for anything that happens to my father starting yesterday. 8/21/2025 11:15 am I'm giving it because you can't give zero stars; if you could, I wouldn't give him one.

Then there's a separate appointment for going over these results and then separate appointments for further checkups, all in a short time frame. Absolutely ridiculous. On top of that, this office continuously ignored pharmacy requests for prescription refills and my physician was changed without me being informed. Then they refused to refill my prescriptions until I agreed to meet with the new doctor to "make sure I needed the medications" even though they were prescribed to me by my previous physician AT THIS FACILITY. Do not seek care here, look elsewhere unless you really want to see a circus act.

I've been going to Dr. Sciberra's office for quite sometime now... Mostly out of convenience…read more I've done lab work there and she 's somewhat aware of my medical history, so I decided to not focus so much on the not so great events... Some of the things that I've experienced while a patient at her facility is: 1. Medical Students... I always felt like I was being ambushed because Dr. Sciberra's would walk into the exam room with the student or sometimes students and then "Ask if I mind that they be there" I would always say yea, no problem not wanting to hurt the students feelings, but it would be great to sometimes see the doctor on her own. She even took it up a notch and told one of the students to do my exam. 2. This new call center system that this office has is horrible. There have been times, where I'd call to speak with someone at the actual office. They would transfer me, the office would not answer. Then I would have to spend another 5 minutes going through the screening process again. My last and final straw was the lack of urgency and professionalism that took place recently. I'll make this very short as it pains me to even think that a doctor's office could be this careless and lack this much concern. I experienced severe facial swelling mid January. I immediately when to the doctor. She came in with her students and they all set around guessing what it could be. They (Dr. & Students) finally assumed that it could be mumps... Gave me a prescription for steroids and told me to come back in 2 weeks because that's how long it took for mumps to leave the body. I go back two weeks later, still wit ha swollen face. Dr. suggested I do an emergency cat scan at first and when they were not able to get it authorized through my insurance... Changed it to an MRI. To get to the point. I did my MRI the end of February... The MRI center said my doctor would have my results the next day. I DID NOT GET MY RESULTS FROM THE DOCTOR FOR 3 WEEKS and this is because I was calling them all day everyday... Sending emails to everyone in the office, yet NO ONE ever returned not 1 single email. I left messages with their answering service, the call center. Everyone! Three weeks later after expressing how upset I was to the call center, who were on my side and felt this was bad business. The DOCTOR'S RECEPTIONIST finally gets on the line to tell me that the doctor said that my MRI results were NEGATIVE... Dr. Sciberra's office set on my results for 3 weeks and had me with anxiety not knowing if I had cancer or what only to finally tell me that the results were negative. At this time, the doctor still has not had the courtesy or decency to reach out to me as her patient. I've had to talk to the receptionist. I asked the receptionist to mail me my results.. I never received them. She called me with and excuse as to why she did not mail them, so I asked her to email them to me. She said she would. As I write this review, I still have not received my results via email. Don't make the mistake that I made. Don't stay with a doctor that you get a bad vibe from because of convenience. You'd only end treated less than in the end.

She only needed one try and I was done within a couple of minutes! She is a model nurse between her positive attitude and impeccable abilities to draw blood she is somebody a lot of nurses can learn a thing or two from! The new receptionist, Blair, is a sweetheart and I'm so glad they replaced the old woman who use to work here. Dr. Sciberras is wonderful and always has great recommendations for my health. I will continue to return to her because of her swift and easy ways to differentiate what my problems are medically so she can work on a method to solve the problem efficiently.
