Saved my life. Very professional. Treated in Commack Long Island and Koch Building in Manhattan. Both facilities are wonderful.

At least as far as the chemo nurses and staff are concerned, these people are very nice at this location.

I asked for a same-day or next-day appointment as I am trying to get pregnant, and my doctor believed I had a dangerous cyst and wanted me to get an MRI with contrast on it. Well, this woman called all these locations, got the pre-approval, and worked her magic. I was extremely impressed with the customer service. The second thing that happened was when I got there I got all setup and the NP I believe found out I was looking to get pregnant and was concerned that the cyst may not be a cyst and could be a follicle since it was over a month since not getting my period. She did a normal preg test but it was neg but it could be just that I was early. The thing that I loved was that she was so concerned and understood what my concerns were and asked that I come back a different day after my blood work came back with a negative preg test. I am so I'm[dressed that she was truly concerned and thought what was best for me. I feel so comfortable and thankful for people looking out for others and not proceeding with something that could harm a baby if this were to be done... so Kudos to that NP! I really appreciate you !

She was routed to St. Catherine of Siena instead of a critical care hospital like Stony Brook. She was having difficulty breathing. The ER botched it with a leaking oxygen mask, and rushed her to intubation, over-sedated her and then could not wake her up. Doctors were rude, non communicative, evasive, dismissive and changed guards, then disappeared nights. Weekends were a skeleton crew. Minimal oversight, while a senior patient is trapped on a ventilator. Critical care needs . . . ignored. Specialists needed to be called in, only after family demanded, and took 24+ hours to arrive or never came. Some tests took a week. Other test results were ignored. She came in with a few issues and ended up with over 12 issues that resulted from the deplorable "treatment". They refused any treatments we asked for because they did not provide it, while any and all attempts we made to transfer her to a good hospital were blocked, trapping my mother on a ventilator, while the hospital insisted they provide the same care as Stony Brook and Weill-Cornell. All they pushed for was for a tracheostomy, and rehab/nursing homes, which they run in the back. They operated like a CLINIC at best, ill equipped to represent running an ER or ICU. My mother was smiling and breathing well with an oxygen mask in the ambulance, but they lost control in the ER and ICU, and now my mother is gone. The doctors and PAs are heartless. Check out all the negative reviews here and on Google. This is a public outrage. BEWARE, 911 calls for locals will send you here.
