When I went for my first visit, I was charged $125, however: 1. Appetite suppressant medicine was NOT included. They said the cost includes PRESCRIPTION ONLY, not the medicine itself. Its completely misleading. If that is the case, they should have mentioned "appetite suppressant prescription" not "prescription appetite suppressants". Also, during setting the first appointment over the phone, they confirmed that the medicine was included. 2. B12 injection was also NOT included. They now say the information on the website needs to be "updated". 3. There was no menu whatsoever provided as advertised. Even the eating guideline is just a generic photocopied two-pager that you can find anywhere on the web. However, the doctor did go through and explained the steps of the guidelines. I think it is an offence to inform something that you cannot comply especially when it comes to cost. The excuse of "we need to update the website" is very lame and dishonest. Ladies- Beware, this place is the equivalent of a chop shop- They encourage you to follow the HCG program, which consists of daily injections of Human chorionic gonadotropin- this is a hormone which is used in Infertility treatments. It is NOT FDA approved for weightloss. It is followed with a 500/cal a day diet. This is very bad for your health and of course will result in the loss of muscle before fat. Also, this hormone will make you ovulate. If you want to get pregnant or waste your pre-determined number of eggs- go for it. But consider the most important fact: It is NOT FDA approved. Places like this should not even exist. Review studies refuting the HCG diet have been published in the Journal of the American Medical Association and the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, both concluding that hCG is neither safe nor effective as a weight-loss aid. read more

I did for 2 months and 2 months after I stopped using them, Babak tagged me with an $8000+ "Toxicology Lab Work" bill of which insurance stuck me with an $800+ out of pocket cost ON TOP OF WHAT I WAS PAYING THE CLINIC. What about that says he's a weight-loss expert? In fact I only saw him one time and every time they made me come in, weekly I might add, it was all about selling me supplements or a shot or something. I just received a bill from the lab used by this clinic for my initial blood work. They billed my insurance $17,992, of which I now owe the lab more than $1,100. Does that seem reasonable to you? Stay far away don't waste your time or money! When I called I was advised that I pay $125 for my visit and my prescription but that is not including the cost of the prescription. I was advised that I would get a 30 day supply. Well when I get there it is totally a different story. I picked this place over another place because I thought that I would get my whole month's prescription. This place makes you do weekly check-ina which is ludicrous and inconvenient. Had I wanted something like that I would have signed up for Jenny Craig. I went in for my seven day follow up and I have been monitoring my weight. My scale at home said that I lost 4 pounds. Ironically when I get to this clinic I only lost 1.5 pounds. Stay far away and don't waste your time because all they do is lie!!! read more

My first visit was good...no complaints. Then when I went for my follow up visit to get my refill for my prescription they wouldn't give it to me unless I bought the supplements that the doctor offers! They said because I didn't lose enough weight? I explained to the lady that I have already lost 30lbs and in a month I still lost 6-8lbs and I was happy with that because I am working out and also GAINING muscle! I had questions regarding the diet for the Dr that she could not answer. Think first before spending your money here. I spent over $550 and was losing 2 pounds a week. The staff told me that was not good enough and they made me come in every week. They would only dispense a week worth of meds and told me this is what the doctor directed them to do. Keep in mind I only saw the doctor once and he was rushing me, talking fast, and trying to sell me every supplement they had in the office. I'm very unhappy with this place and felt they cheated me. I have now done hcg twice with this center. I have lost weight and been very pleased. I had to do a second time 2 years after the first round due to an injury that prevented me from working out and kept me sedentary for awhile. I kept the weight off the first time for over a year, until my injury. I find the staff to be helpful and never have a problem reaching them by phone or getting the appointment time I want. I would recommend this clinic and have to several friends. read more

I do not recommend this place. At the beginning they will tell you a (relatively) small amount to pay, and that it includes everything. Be warned, there will be blood and urine tests charged to your health insurance that are astronomical. I echo the comments regarding the one-week supply of meds, seeing the doctor only once for a rushed couple of minutes over about a 4-5 month program. A 3-lb loss is required per week or they will not renew the medication. It did not work for me. I felt that all they did was give a pill and tell me not to eat. No support, no real plan, not sustainable for any length of time. And the insurance claims seem to me to be bordering on fraudulent. read more
