The Regulation Course: It's a short course. The holes are almost all flat and straight. Trees line…read morealmost every hole, which is the main defense. That makes it a beautiful walking course. The greens are quicker than you'd think. The course was in great shape at the time of this review. For the $18 walking fee (weekend) it's a great deal. The downside is the pace of play can become an issue. With multiple areas of back-to-back par 3s, and the holes all short to begin with, it can become congested, and there were no marshalls out there policing the pace of play. Also, for it being so walkable there are no benches anywhere for walkers to sit out that wait. The Executive Course: A set of 9 par 3 holes built inside the regulation holes. 7 of the 9 are built into a thick canopy of trees. The trees overhang the fairway, which in some cases gives you no options other than a low punch shot. I'd like to see them trim away some of that overhang. But, it's a perfect course to take your kids out for a fun round. For the price point, this course is a real value.

A "members" group was coming off 7 and cut in front on me as I was teeing off on 13. They let me "play thru" as one said. Yet another said are you going to tee off... as I was going through my routine. I call the clubhouse to ask is this something that happens on the course? She said it does and asked if they let me go through. I told her yes but I was hurried by the FIVE idiots to tee off quickly as they wanted to finish their round. I played the next two holes pissed but finished the remaining 4 calm. Yet the day at Maple Grove would end with the front end of my car being full of grass clippings when I arrived back.

When we came in, there was no one to greet us. The lady who came to the desk had a face that said we interrupted her. The room is decent. The breakfast situation was sad. Everything is a la carte. No customers appeared to enjoy the selections. I have never been to a hotel without complimentary coffee or tea. The pool is closed. We were told we could walk across the parking lot to use the pool but not to eat. We were told of complimentary breakfast when we did the reservation. We will let them know that we received erroneous info and that was a big deal for the size party we had. We were forced to coordinate breakfast for 10.

That's very unfortunate but anyway room itself was OK pretty nice but the shower unfortunately would not drain so there was water just flowing everywhere onto the bathroom floor and everything and I told him about that and they apologized a nice day with a much nicer woman was there and they gave us a free bottle of water because of the shower not draining. They also did not have coffee or breakfast ready so this is not a very good stay to be Honest and that's unfortunate but you know sometimes it's hit or miss I guess

After a long wait, I finally received a response on October 29 apologizing for the delay and confirming my date was available. They asked me to schedule a call through their portal to discuss details, which I did for November 4. Unfortunately, they did not show up for the call. They eventually connected with me later that day, and I sent inspiration photos to help with planning. After that, I heard nothing until January 16, 2026, when Katie messaged me asking if I had seen her proposal. She apologized for the lack of follow-up and said she would resend it if needed. I informed her that I had not received the proposal in my spam or portal, and she promised to resend it the next day. However, by January 17, I still had not received anything. I followed up again on March 1, 2026, hoping for some progress. Despite the ongoing communication issues, I was drawn to their work because of the beautiful photos and event space they showcased on Instagram. I really wanted to use their services. On March 2, I finally received a response from Stephen, who explained Katie was attending a conference but assured me I would get the proposal within a few days, no later than the end of that week. Now, 20 days later, I have received no proposal and no further follow-up. I am left with no choice but to look elsewhere. If I could give zero stars, I would. I cannot comment on their food or event space because I was never able to utilize their services. I want to support local small businesses, but this experience has been incredibly disappointing and frustrating.
