    What can I say about Memory Lane? SO MUCH! After months of planning our dream wedding, we can gladly say "We're married!", and it was all due to the massive help from Memory Lane staff. From the very beginning everyone was super helpful- and we needed a lot! From planning to final meetings to the big day, we were happy with how everything turned out. Our wedding was perfect! No stress, all of us started on time, and the coordinators are LIFESAVERS! I would have had no clue when to walk down the aisle, when to first dance, how to throw a bouquet, without these girls. They helped us immensely throughout the day and we are so pleased with how everything turned out. Our families were so happy to be able to enjoy the day without running around for us- thank you to all of the Memory Lane family that made this happen! We also used the in house florists, Wild Bunches, which was amazing and so easy. Our bouquets were colorful, exactly how I wanted them and they were really great working with our budget! And after the whole shindig, we stayed in the residence after the wedding, which was ideal so our wedding party didn't have to drive back to hotels. I felt like a princess the whole day! Thank you so so much, everyone at Memory Lane!

    This is the PERFECT venue! Not only is the location gorgeous.. you can stay here and accommodate family and friends during your special day. The staff is beyond incredible and professional. They make the day just....flawless. I was nervous about the rain pushing us inside, and Memory Lane kept the most positive and up to date on the radar. The sky cleared and the entire evening was perfect. Maybe they have magic up their sleeves ;) Either way, you will not regret choosing this as your venue for ANY event.

    After getting engaged, my fiancé and I took a couple of weeks for it to sink in. Once we where ready, we reached out to our church and started to look for venues. I can't even remember, but somehow we saw Memory Lane's open house and we decided to check them out. We had a tour by Thalia and after we left we decided to call them back and take advantage of the open house special. We fell in love with the rustic, yet sophisticated, look of the reception hall. We fell in love with the outdoor grounds with the luscious trees and pool, plus the beautiful guest house was included with overnight accommodations. The staff has wedding planning down to include every detail. We visited the venue probably 3 times after booking, and the last meeting helped the staff to ensure all my dreams and wishes came true. Most of my vendors were new to them, thus the extra visits out there. Their flexibility with the vendors helped us keep the budget in check. After looking for a day-of-coordination, ML not only had the best deal, but I was confident I could count on their experience. On our wedding day 8/1/15, we got married in a church in downtown Austin, and then we had everyone drive out to Memory Lane. It was a bit of a drive, but we knew that our guests would love it out there. We arrived at ML just in the nick of time, as per our timeline. ML staff helped me adjust my dress for the reception and off we were to be announced as husband and wife into the reception hall. I felt so lucky to have worked with Thalia, Gaby, and Uleta. Due to the hot Texas heat (over 100 degrees) we set up a cocktail hour in the lodge (in the guests cabin), but we also set up cocktail tables outside the reception hall next to the Margarita/Piña Colada bar. We also set up a cornhole game on their lawn, and a cigar hour outdoors. The Mariachi band started on cue, and dinner buffet was ready. I literally had "My Big Fat Mexican Wedding" at ML. I wasn't expecting any dancing during dinner, but my family got really excited with the Mariachis, that the dancing started right away. We also did the traditional "Vibora de la Mar", which ML staff had never experienced before. It involves the groom and bride standing on chairs and creating a bridge, while all the ladies create a super fast Congo line that goes all around the entire reception hall. The ML staff was extremely attentive out all the needs and wants throughout the entire night, they were all smiles, which to me was super important that they appeared approachable to my family, guests, and vendors. All my guests had a wonderful time. We loved being able to invite our guests to hangout a little longer at the after party at the guests house. We took full advantage of the pool and hot tub. I highly recommend having people willing to help clean up, we are super thankful that our wedding party ensure we left everything as required by ML. My only concern was the following: they advertised a capacity of 250, but I was sweating it. After looking at the table layout, I was hoping we only had 220 rsvp's. We were able to squeeze 24 tables (240 guests), but it was tight. It all worked out at the end. Since it was buffet style, we set up two buffet tables (one at the back of the dance floor), which was dismantled after dinner. We also used their rental company for the additional tables, chairs, and linens. Their service included setup and take down, which we truly appreciated. Thalia and Gaby were amazing at listening and catering to my wishes to ensure we would have a memorable wedding day. Their day-of-coordination services were everything and more than I expected. Overall, the place and the staff were exceptional. We loved celebrating our big day at Memory Lane.

    We had our wedding at Memory Lane in December. Staff was amazing!!!! I highly recommend the day of coordinator. They made the day so much more enjoyable. The cost was great for what was included. I also recommend you use their florist Wild bunches. They were priced well and are right on site. I just wish I could do the entire day over again!!!!

We met with 3 wedding planners when deciding who to work with, and Kimberley stood out as being the absolute best from day 1. One of the other 2 planners didn't seem to have as much experience or design sense as Kimberley, or as many connections. When meeting with them, I felt like they'd do a decent job, but that my wedding would end up looking very cookie cutter and I worried I wouldn't be referred to other vendors (DJ, etc.) who were unique and best in class. The 3rd planner was straight up annoying and I couldn't imagine working with her long term! Kimberley was the best of ALL worlds--her background as an interior decorator and an innate sense of taste merged with her ability to truly understand who we were as a couple and our design preferences. Thanks to her, we ended up with design elements in our wedding that we'd never have even thought were possible, if not for Kimberley! Kimberley also recommended a fantastic (and affordable!) florist, caterer, and DJ, among other great vendors. She was also a dream to interact with and made everything lighthearted and fun. When I say my wedding day went off without a hitch, I MEAN it! Literally everything was perfect, and it was not because the "stars aligned"--it was because of the thorough planning and flawless execution by Kimberley and her team. We went through numerous challenges with our wedding--first of all, we had to postpone 1 year due to COVID. Second of all, our wedding was in Fredericksburg, so it was a challenge to find vendors (especially catering!) who would travel from Austin. Third of all, we had issues communicating with the venue after the yearlong hiatus in between our first and second wedding dates. I have no idea how we could have navigated those situations without Kimberley--she and her husband literally helped us get some of our rentals to and from Fredericksburg because we couldn't find a company that had the availability to do it! She also used her industry connections to get a vendor who was delivering games (like cornhole, etc.) to our wedding to deliver and pick up some of the rentals as well. She is a problem-solver extraordinaire. The day of the wedding she set everything up gorgeously. We had SO MANY candles and decorative items on our tables and all of that required an artistic eye to set up--it wasn't like each table looked the same or had the same stuff on it. Kimberley made each table a work of art. Our guests raved about the look of the wedding and most of them commented that they'd never been to a more beautiful or better run wedding. Seriously, the way Kimberley facilitated our wedding day was so smooth that even the guests noticed it! Still to this day (it's been 5 months since our wedding day) people comment on the beauty and ease of our wedding. My friends were amazed that there was absolutely "no drama" and our wedding party was impressed the day of at how Kimberley remained firm and in control while also being super fun and personable. Kimberley is completely unflappable and brings a reassuring sense of calm and positivity no matter how much she has going on--she is a true professional. I honestly don't know why you'd want to look anywhere else for a wedding planner--Kimberley is THE girl if you want someone to plan the gorgeous and unique wedding of your dreams while also being fun while also carrying out all of your plans flawlessly! I want to get married again just so I can have Kimberley plan another wedding for me LOL. She also does the most gorgeous elopement packages and I am lowkey jealous because I had the big wedding and now I want one of those too...so big wedding or small, go with Kimberley, you will NOT regret it!!!!!!!!

We were already leaning toward hiring a coordinator but then our venue (Ma Maison) required us to have one so we contacted their entire list of preferred vendors for coordinators and we are so glad we did because that's how we found Heather from Vintage & Lace!! Of all of the planners and coordinators we talked to, I was just immediately drawn to how warm, friendly, AND organized she is. Heather is an absolute pro with countless weddings under her belt, but still so kind and easy to talk to. Then, despite planning our wedding from another city, Heather made it SO easy and smooth. We technically only booked her for day-of coordination (with full communication/access the month prior) but from day one, she was still always available via call, email, text, whathaveyou, no matter when or what kind of (ridiculous, I'm sure) questions I had. We didn't actually meet Heather in person until our rehearsal the day before our wedding, and she was an absolute ROCK STAR the entire weekend. She managed to wrangle our large wedding party (14 bridesmaids and groomsmen) and all of our family (including bilingual and non-native English speakers, as well as divorced family) with both grace and authority. It's also worth noting we had several extras (a Chinese tea ceremony before our wedding ceremony, two large shuttles to transport our guests to and from Dripping Springs, getting Whataburger delivered to our venue for a late night snack) and Heather handled EVERYTHING seamlessly. Anything I thought of or had concerns about, she handled before I even voiced them to her! If anything went wrong on our wedding day, I have no idea what it was, because Heather was ON it. She was also incredibly thoughtful and adaptable, from my mom wanting to move the cake-cutting earlier, to making sure all of our belongings were packed away and that we had plenty of snacks and drinks in our getaway car. Her day-of assistant, Jasmine, was also so helpful and sweet. They both made the entire weekend just a wonderful, fun, amazing experience where we got to fully enjoy getting married and celebrating with family and friends. I can't recommend Heather and Vintage & Lace more highly -- BOOK HER NOW! I won't say "you won't regret it," but rather, you'll regret it if you don't! Heather, thank you thank you thank you SO much for all your hard work and support in making sure our wedding was an amazing, dreamy, unforgettable experience!

She was quick to respond and schedule a meeting with me and my then fiancee to discuss details. She was calm, interested, and prepared. She assuaged my panic and let me know that 6 weeks for a 30 person wedding was easy peasy. I cannot recommend Heather enough! With my hectic work schedule, she contacted me via email as my preference. We are based in Philadelphia, and while we didn't meet until the day before the wedding, you definitely couldn't tell as everything went off without a hitch. Well if there was anything wrong during the ceremony and reception, we had no idea. She handled all of our vendors seamlessly and made everyone feel safe during the pandemic. I definitely know now that we couldn't have pulled it off without her!

In the weeks leading up to the wedding, she helped me think through so many details I never would have considered on my own, which gave me so much confidence going into the day. On the wedding day itself, Casey was so collected and completely in control. Because of her, I truly did not worry about a single thing. Even when it started to rain before the ceremony, she made sure the rain plan was executed perfectly. She handled everything seamlessly from start to finish, including setup, coordinating vendors, keeping the timeline on track, teardown, and packing everything up at the end of the night. I was able to be fully present and enjoy every moment knowing that everything was taken care of. I really felt like I just showed up that morning and left that night without fully knowing everything that went into making our day so beautiful and that's a testament to how incredible Casey is. So we hired Casey, and I can't tell you what a great decision that was. Even though we hired her as "day-of", she did lots of advance work so she could understand just what we wanted. When my daughter said she was hiring Meredith, I was concerned that it was an unnecessary expense, however it was the best money spent on the wedding!!! The best part was the final hour of the reception when I just got to sit and watch Meredith load the van! Jessica was also wonderful and helped us so much. We hardly had two weeks for the event day and Johnell worked day and night to get everything planned and coordinated according to the theme of the party. She provided great suggestions like the claw machine, face painting and a magician. It was tough to get a magician in that short time period but she did her magic to find the best one for the event and it was great! All our 50+ guests who attended the party raved about how well the planning and coordination was done for a 3 year old's birthday. It wouldn't have happened without her! She also helped with my baby shower back in early 2020 when Covid didn't hit us yet. My husband worked with her to throw me a baby shower and it was amazingly done. That baby shower event has made us reach out to her again because we knew she will do an excellent job and can trust her because she puts her heart in every event that she takes up. I had a lot of guests from outside of Texas, so I wanted to give them an authentic Texas Hill Country experience while still reflecting my modern tastes. I chose to have both my ceremony and dinner in the beautiful Great Room to avoid the Texas heat, which was a decision both my guests and I appreciated! Dancing was in the barn, and there was a nice breeze flowing through the doors that kept the space cool. The reason I first fell in love with this venue is that it feels like a home rather than an "event space." The on-site bride and groom's suites were so convenient and comfortable, and my guests enjoyed having so many options to explore between the great room, the upstairs and downstairs patios, the lawn, and the barn. I love this venue so much, I chose to hold my rehearsal dinner and a post-wedding Sunday brunch there as well! April was so incredibly kind and helpful both before the wedding (which was a long period of time - I booked way back in December 2015!) as well as at all three of my events. She truly cares about the people she hosts, and goes above and beyond to make sure your event is exactly the way you want it. I encourage anyone looking for a venue to visit Cricket Hill Ranch - I guarantee you will fall in love with it too!
