I stopped in during the seasonal flavor changeover, so they were running low on a few options. The server told me they were restocking the new flavors the next day. I was hoping to try the vanilla lavender, but I'll have to save that for another visit. Instead, I went with the butter pecan crunch, which the server said is their best-selling flavor. It had a rich, creamy texture, though I thought it could have used a little more flavor. The richness was just on the edge of being a bit too heavy, but it was still a good scoop of ice cream. As I was leaving, a large family was enjoying ice cream together, and it reinforced the feeling that this is a neighborhood spot locals genuinely support. I always enjoy finding local ice cream shops when I travel, and Wild Honey is worth a stop if you're in downtown Longview.

But once we cut into it, I was surprised. It was SO THIN. You had to use a spatula to pull out the pieces then plate them because there was no way the cookie cake piece would stay up just using your fingers to hold it at the edge. It immediately folded.
