I've been to several Menchie's locations-yes, I'm a true Utahn that likes sweets. Out of all of them, I think this might be the cleanest one I've visited. Truly, the place was immaculate. There are a bunch of flavors of frozen yogurt to choose from. You fill up a cup with it (you can mix flavors too!) then move on to the toppings. Fruit, chocolates, nuts and candies to create the perfect concoction. Your treat is weighed and you pay by the ounce. Take it to go, or sit inside and enjoy. I love the bright colors and upbeat music-it makes it a space you feel like lingering in and automatically puts you into a good mood. Not too shabby of a froyo place. The interior is pretty colorful which is nice. We went for valentines day and I was hoping for maybe a chocolate covered strawberry flavor but there wasn't. I must admit, we are a Yogurtland family, but Menchie's had us sold. We enjoyed our frozen yogurt here after watching the fireworks at Dixie State University on the 4th of July. If you are from or visiting the St. George vicinity... the show is even great to see from here. It's the perfect place for a sweet treat with flavors that you won't find else where. The original tastes like the one they have at Pinkberry (way better than the original they have at Yogurtland). My daughter got the red velvet, my son got the blueberry and asked for more the next day, and my husband got the pineapple dole whip that tasted just like the famous one at Disneyland! I always opt for the original with fruity pebbles and mochi, but I loved how they had marshmallows. It was deeeelish! Wish I bought more! This is probably the best frozen yogurt we've tried and unfortunately, there isn't one near us but there are locations located in California. The shop is so lit, literally! The lights outside the shop are so welcoming. The staff is nice, the tables are clean, and I absolutely love the selection of yogurt here. My favorites are the combination between cake batter and peach, and the pineapple with strawberry smoothie. This Menchies is open until midnight! How awesome. Menchie's and I get along like old, good friends... I don't see him enough to keep up on daily happenings, but when I return, it's like I was just there yesterday...with no hard feelings or uncomfortable stuff. The flavors are almost always pleasantly as-advertised, the topping hoppers and containers are kept in good order, and service is generally pleasant from the late-teen aged employee that always seems to be running the register and scale combo. This location is no different in that regard-- and improved by plenty of indoor seating and an outdoor patio area. Elevation off the Main street cuts down on noise, but not summer heat. Since our recent visit here was for New Years, that wasn't much of a problem. Nearby natural wonders, Dixie State, and many motels keep this location popular. And not too many Menchieses that I frequent (other than this one) have a plausible chance of getting bitten by a rattlesnake in the greater parking area. So watch your step and enjoy something cold... whether it's freezing or broiling outdoors, frozen yogurt always fixes things. read more

This used to be one of our favorite go-tos. I think we're just kind of done with yogurt, at least for awhile. I will say that out of all the yogurt shops, it's a favorite. Menchies always has the widest variety of flavors and they keep a really clean establishment - which I am sure is hard with all the condiments they have to offer. Usually we'll spend between $6-$8 a person on a bowl of yogurt with all the toppings. It's not cheap by any means, but most places we go the desserts are around that much. read more

Came here for dessert and was pleasantly surprised at how good this yogurt shop was. I'm familiar with the whole self serve thing which is what Menchie's does, but they seemed to have taken their flavors and toppings to a whole other level! They had Amaretto Almond, Nutella and Peanut Butter cookie flavored yogurt! Those are 3 flavors I'd not seen before. Most of their toppings were branded, i.e. Blue Diamond Almonds, Heath Bar, Butterfinger, etc. They also had squeezable Nutella as a topping...wow. They offered fresh baked waffle cones, if you desired that. Overall, I was impressed with their wide array of flavors and toppings. I drive from Cedar to menchies whenever I need my fix. Easily the best frozen yogurt in St. George. The layout is a bit odd and can be challenging when it gets busy. The yogurt is in a semicircle so if you forgot something at the start or wanted to add more, you will be bumping into the people behind you. I love that they have sample cups right next to the yogurt and mini trash cans to put them in afterwards. They always have a decent selection of flavors including sweet and fruity. They also always have a low carb option and a skinny option. Their tipping selection is also really nice and they way they are set up limits the amount of toppings dropping into others, which is a pet peeve. The star of the show here though is the Hershey's hard shell. Put this on top, let it dry and bam - you'll be in heaven. The only thing I want to add this get cup dividers!! Sometimes you want both fruit and sweet but if they mixed it would be a disaster. Cup dividers would be life changing. They offer a student and senior discount so ask at the register. Employees have always been friendly. I also like how they have a separate room for kids. It always makes the place seem less crowded having kiddos shuttled off into their own separate room. If someone wanted to franchise a menchies up in Cedar, I'd love you forever!! read more

Usually when you go get frozen yogurt at a place like this all the flavors are amazing and it's hard to choose because they're all so good, but here it's hard to choose any flavors that even taste good at all. I've tried hundreds frozen desserts from many different stores and even worked at two different ice cream restaurants in my life, usually it all tastes good and some places have higher and better quality than others, Menchie's might be the worst. Their cake batter was disgusting, their mudslide was way too strong a coffee flavor, their oreo didn't even taste like oreo, their mixed berry was bland, their peanut butter was so strong I could barely stand it, the only good ice cream they had was their Dole Whip, and that's not even their own, Dole whip is good wherever you buy it, the only redeeming quality they have is their toppings, there's tons to choose and they're all high quality. All in all I'd much rather go to Farr's and get much better ice cream with much better flavor options. read more

Even though I had just ate at George's Corner, I still wanted something sweet before I got back on the road. I had just walked outside when I realized I should have ordered some dessert at the restaurant. There's a lot of yogurt places in St. George, but they were all closed according to Yelp. Luckily I found this yogurt place was within walking distance and even open late on Sundays. Menchie's is pretty much a chain, so once you've been to one, you have seen them all but little things do make a difference. At this location they have plenty of space inside, large seating area along with some tables outside. Seeing how it was like 95 degrees, inside was definitely a bonus here. The place was relatively clean looking, including the machines and toppings area. I really like that they put all their sample cups on a plate instead of hiding them behind the counter like you're gonna run off with them or something. Service was great and the prices were pretty good too, nothing else you could ask for from a yogurt spot. read more

My girlfriend really wanted to try this because she had read good reviews about the place. Finally, the night before her MCAT, I took her here (we were visiting from California just for the MCAT). It was bustling with people - so popular! There was a line out the door before we could even figure out how this place worked. The decor was cute, and so was the merchandise. I said to myself i thought this was a good place . Nope because they were rude to my Sister as well . She used to work there and didn't give enough training . They fired here after 2 days . your suppose to have training up to 7 days or more . They called my Sister retarded and slow . They made her in tears . I mean seriously what company does that . I do not recommend this place to anybody to eat or get a job . I would recommend Yogurt land . Yogurt land is way better and much tasty .
