    Inside of menchies

When heading down University in Tamarac , MENCHIES is a must stop for a delicious treat. I love the variety of their flavors - I opted for a sugar free strawberry and chocolate yogurt . They have German chocolate cake , New York cheesecake , Oreo , and Carmel to name a few. When it comes to toppings - oh boy , they have fresh fruit like strawberries, pineapples , and blueberries , as well as sprinkles , crushed candy , chocolates chips, various nuts and fudge , Nutella , peanut butter syrup . I love the variety and how you can make and choose it all yourself! The price goes by weight so keep that in mind when creating your masterpiece. My yogurt was around $7.00 . You can pick either a pink or green spoon. They also offer special cake orders as well as ready made cakes in their cooler. There is seating inside as well as outside for you to enjoy your frozen yogurt . The male employee was very friendly and helpful when I visited on 4/14 in the afternoon. Also , they have small cups that you can use To sample a flavor . I wish they were closer to me since there aren't many self serve frozen yogurt around anymore . Sooo delicious

We visited this location because it's near our home and Menchie's had a promotion where Disney paid for the first five ounces of frozen yogurt. I called ahead of time and asked about this. The manager as very helpful over the phone. Once we arrived, although we were not the only ones there, the manager was able to handle the crowd and accommodate all of us.

Cleaning up while people are still inside. When we were getting our ice scream they kept staring like hurrying us up

We love Menchie's and usually go to the Hialeah or Miami lakes location. However we were close by and de used to stop by. We got there at 10:10 (they close at 11) and were told we couldn't sit inside because the "inside was closed" my three kids had to eat standing up outside because they only had two tables available outside with 3 chairs. Def not ok.

Nothing special about this place. Just like any other store. Regular ice cream but I like they have açaí bowl. The ambience is clean and service basic.

Just wanted to say a special thank you to Menchie's! Huge shoutout to Ms. Susan and Steven for the amazing customer service. We came in on a Friday right after school, the store was pretty business, but the level of patience and professionalism shown is unbelievable! I definitely will be back because my family and I not only enjoyed the service but also the new tasty and delicious flavors of Froyo.

I love Menchie's and was so excited to find a location near me after recently moving to Southern Florida. It did not disappoint. Super clean store and friendly staff. Self serve was a breeze and they had all of my go-to flavors. I love cake batter, Oreo, and dulce de leche. A great selection of toppings as well. Easy to serve, pay, and enjoy!

The kids favorite spot after school on Fridays. A really great place for something sweet. Can get pricey because it's priced based on oz. but it's worth it. And this place is clean

I went to Menchie's on Saturday with a friend to have some of their decadent frozen yogurt. This is the second time I have been there and it was time for a review. The inside of Menchie's is very pleasant, bright and clean. It looks like a froyo place should. They have inside and outside seating. There are self-serve yogurt dispensers and you are provided with little cups so you can try any and all of the flavors. Try a variety. You might find some you didn't know you previously liked. For example, I found that the coconut was really good. So I decided on a gooey mix of chocolate, vanilla and cookies and creme. I filled up a cup with all three and then went to the topping station. These toppings are dangerous! They have everything from brownie chunks to little balls of cookie dough and everything in between. I put little Reese's pieces on mine along with a generous portion of the brownie chunks. The whole combination was delicious. I do have to say that the Menchie's frozen yogurt tastes really good. I have been to other froyo places where I thought the actual yogurt wasn't so great but Menchie's nailed it. The people working behind the counter were very pleasant. There was only one thing I didn't like and it was probably partially my fault. While I was standing in line to pay, I was trying to check in through the Yelp app. Because my iPhone had overheated in the car, it wasn't responding so well. I wasn't able to complete my check-in until after I had finished paying. Upon check-in, a message popped up that said I get a 15% discount on my purchase. I showed it to the employees behind the counter. However, they did not offer to redo my purchase to include the 15% discount. They simply said I could use it next time. It would have been nice if they had offered to cancel the prior transaction and redo it to include the discount. Overall, Menchie's is a solid 4-stars and is my goto yogurt place whenever I'm in the area.

I decided to stop by and try their açaí and froyo bowl. It was so delicious, I had to make two more for my family to try!

Haven't been to one of these places since the pandemic for obvious reasons. I didn't even like buffet style or open food places much pre- pandemic. Nevertheless, was driving by and craving something sweet! Curiosity got the best of me of if things were the same. Upon walking in you grab your cup. I did like the sanitizer station right next to the cups and instructions were visible and clear and step one was to sanitize . You have all the flavors of the yogurt listed above each machine. I opted for cheesecake. All the dry toppings are covered and each had their own scooper. All the cold ingredients were individually portioned ! Which was awesome !! I chose, graham crackers crumbs, waffle cone pieces, cheesecake chunks and strawberries. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. Your price is based on the weight of your cup. Was $0.61/0z. My total came to $2.56. Not bad at all considering all the toppings I got. I didn't get much yogurt but was still very filling. I can't even imagine how much my same cup would have been at cold stone . Jason rang me up, very friendly and attentive. Bang for your buck, fresh toppings. Delicious yogurt and friendly staff. Will definitely return.

I'm not sure if it's somewhere I'd go back to on a regular basis, but I'm glad I tried it. Staff seemed like they were there just for their paychecks, and not really caring for the customer service or offering their opinion or recommendations, the night we visited there was a good amount of patrons. There's seating off the right side of the shop and a few towards the back. They have a very wide selection of ice cream flavors. I settled for a dulce deleche, and it was just ok. We ordered that, and I took some pictures and left. The interior was too much for me, personally. Way too much going on.

The sisters were inspired to open Uncle Louie G's when they couldn't find the kind of icy treats they grew up on. Uncle Louie G''s menu includes 47 flavors of Italian ice and 33 flavors of ice cream including vegan, dairy free, and sugar free. They also sell ice cream cakes, milkshakes, smoothies, ice coffees, Belgian waffle sundaes, and ice cream nachos. For quality control everything's made in Staten Island, New York. They use the best ingredients like real fruit for Italian ice instead of sugar and artificial flavoring. The premium ice cream is 14 percent butterfat and the cheesecake pieces are made from scratch. The Magic Cow in Coral Springs has a 4.8-star Yelp rating, and their sister store in Davie is apparently one of the top 10 ice cream shops in the entire United States. So naturally, I had to see if the local legend lived up to the hype. (Spoiler: it did. And then some.) The moment we walked in, I was hit with that nostalgic mix of sugar, laughter, and magic that says you're about to make a very good life decision. The owner greeted us like old friends -- warm, funny, and clearly passionate about what he does. You can tell every scoop that leaves that counter has been crafted with pride. Now, about the ice cream. I went with the Carrot Cake flavor -- and let me tell you, it wasn't just ice cream; it was an experience. Folded into it were ribbons of caramel and bits of pie crust that somehow made me rethink all my previous dessert choices in life. One bite in, and I'm pretty sure I saw colors brighter than usual. My wife went for a combo of Better Batter Cake Carnival and Chocolate Batter Better, and to call it "excellent" would be an understatement. This flavor pairing was pure joy in stereo. Instead, it felt like the kitchen and the dining room were in a long-term relationship that's stopped communicating. We began with the crispy tofu, which sounded promising -- I pictured something light, golden, and seasoned with purpose. What arrived was tofu on life support. Over-battered, under-seasoned, and fried like it had wronged somebody. I kept waiting for flavor to show up, but it must've taken the night off. Now the chili sauce the tofu was served with was very tasty, it was just that there was so little of it. Not enough to make up for the overpowering batter on the tofu. Then came my kimchee ramen -- a dish that started strong with that first bite of warm broth and tangy kick. But then, plot twist: the kimchee was cold, sitting inside the soup like it refused to participate. The beef had been cooked so long it could survive a hurricane, and the egg... well, let's just say it had passed "soft-boiled" about three minutes ago. My wife, however, lucked out with the udon and shrimp tempura -- nicely done, well-balanced, and clearly made by someone who still believes in flavor. Now, the atmosphere deserves its own mention. The main dining area has all the warmth of a tech startup break room -- clean but cold, not exactly cozy. Then there's the back room, which looks like someone's garage got repurposed into a hangout spot. There's a miniature pool table, an even smaller ping pong setup, and a couch that feels like it was borrowed from your cousin's first apartment. It's quirky, sure, but also kind of confusing -- like they couldn't decide if they were a restaurant, a boba lounge, or a college dorm common room. So yeah, three stars -- because Fyr & Ice isn't bad, it's just having an identity crisis. It used to be so much better and could be again if someone decides to care again. With a little care and a lot more seasoning, this place could go from "meh" to "must-try." For now, it's a decent stop if you're hungry, curious, and not expecting emotional warmth from your ramen.

Just none of it on the menu was available. I asked when they might be getting it back in stock but they did not know. I really wish they had disclaimed that somewhere on their website or Facebook page or anything before driving out there. The food was obviously pre-made and warmed up, but it was not warmed up enough. It was all still very cold. The prices were luckily still very cheap, but I think it still was a reflection of you get what you pay for. It was completely dead on a Thursday prime dinnertime. We were literally the only ones there for about 45 minutes. I heard their bubble tea is good. The staff was friendly. The bathroom was out of order. Although some of the pictures of food look adorable, we will not be going back.

While there weren't a ton of flavors to choose from, I still really enjoyed my visit and found some amazing options. I also loved that they offer vegan ice cream choices, making it easy for everyone to find something tasty. Plus, they have milkshakes on the menu, which is always a bonus! Overall, it was a great experience with flavorful ice cream and a fun, welcoming atmosphere. I'll definitely be back for another scoop!

Although I'm an ice cream connoisseur. I was greeted right away and the nice girl behind the counter offered to give sample of any ice cream that I would like to try. I tried a few of the unique ones which was quite delicious like the rum banana bread and island poundcake. Since Rum Raisin is my all-time favorite, I went with the Appleton Rum Raisin (first time trying this version) and Guinness Stout in a waffle cone. Both were creamy flavorful and delicious. The waffle cone was also fresh, perfect thickness, with a nice crunch and held my fast melting Rum Raisin very well. Glad I got it. Wonderful experience as the service was great. This shop isn't big and doesn't have seating areas. Purchase and go. Looking forward to going back to try their other flavors. Highly recommend!

I bought a box of 6 big cookies for $27. I ordered the cookies and cream and the Guava Maria for myself.
