You take a bowl and can choose and mix what flavors you like then have plenty of topping choices including hot fudge, sprinkles, brownies, gummy worms, and much more. I chose the chocolate and mango with hot fudge topping and it was delicious. This location seemed a little low staffed but definitely popular with many groups coming and going. I came here many times. The froyo mostly taste good. What make this place is 3 stars because of 2 reasons. First of all, I've never seen a single staff every single time I walked in. It could take 5 minutes wait or so. Many times I waited for long time before they showed up. Noone heard when we called. While waiting, I couldn't try it right away either because they don't put the tester cups on the counter anymore. It's very upseting. Another worse thing, I came here maybe more than 10 times, order at least 2 cups to 4 cups, entered my phone number on their system, but I've never been able to have enough point to reedem my point. They ALL said, next visit you'll be able to redeem your points. But every single visit, always said next visit! For somehow, I feel I've been scammed to by the company. This place is great food wise but severely lacks on customer service. Every time I have gone in during regular hours the employee is in the back or on their phone not really paying attention when customers are ready to check out. When it's fill your cup day there's only one employee to handle a line that's out the door which is pretty hectic and the seating options are limited. Other than that, they have a ton of choices toppings wise. Their popping boba is very good and the fruit toppings are fresh. My fav froyo flavor is their lemon or strawberry sorbet flavors especially if you mix it with their fruit options. I have purchased one of their cakes for a birthday once which was a super complicated process trying to get a pic on the cake but I got through it. I love froyo and while I don't think Menchie's is the best, it satisfies the job. The one here participates in the "Fill Your Cup Friday" promotion at night so you can go crazy with the froyo up to 3 toppings and only pay $6! Machines work well here, employees are pretty chill and friendly, and there's a fair amount of seating. It's also in a convenient plaza with food options available so definitely easy to hit after a meal. Some toppings are in plastic containers, mostly the candy ones. The fruit, cheesecake, mochi, and boba are in the normal scooping containers. Not sure why they're different or if this is a standard across Menchie's these days, but they used to all be scoopable so that was interesting to me. I haven't come outside of Friday night yet so maybe the plastic containers toppings aren't included as part of the weight? Something to think about. read more

He was probably high from the looks of it, but since he was the only one there how would the company keep him accountable? They can't. He had one day of training and then left to work six days a week and had been there for several weeks. That location is going out of business. They have great selection of yogurts (about 10 if I remember correctly, and each of them actually works!!!!!) with many varieties of toppings. This is the typical yoguarts restaurant, where you pick up a size of a cup of your choice, and start walk around the machines to put any flavor of yogurt and toppings as you like, and they charge you by weight. The place is fairly nice and clean (however, most of their tables are dirty). My guess is that there is only one person (that we see) running the place, and she has to man the cash register the whole time, so no one is doing the cleaning. But other than dirty table, the place is still fairly clean, and it feels like a great place to hang out in a hot summer afternoon (and they have AC!!!!). With regarding to buck to the value. We paid ~$18 for two cups. I thought that's pretty expensive for yogurts, but I guess as customer, we pay for more than just food. Overall experience, other than its a bit pricey, this is actually one of the better yogurt place we had visited, and we really enjoyed it. Will definitely visit again. read more

I have a very severe peanut allergy and since there was cross contamination between the toppings, they offered to cut up some fruit and bring fresh toppings from the back. I went to college in San Marcos, CA and there was this place across campus called Froyo Love that my friends and I used to frequent all the time. This place is equivalent to that. We have been going to this location for years and love it. We are big Menchie's fans and drive out of our way to come here over other frozen yogurt stores that are closer. My 3 star review however, is a reflection on the ownership. I reached out looking for catering for my daughters 1st birthday party for 50 people. After a week of not hearing back I called the store and girl that answer said that since they are a franchise that type of pricing goes through the owner and she assured me I did the correct thing by doing the online request because that goes directly to their email. Over a month has gone by and still no reply, we have taken our business elsewhere. Yesterday in my local mom Facebook group, a woman posted asking for reviews on hosting birthday parties at this location and pricing. I shared my experience with communication and she replied that she sent a request in over a week ago and still no word. She has decided to book her party elsewhere. So I can safely say my experience was not a freak incident that slipped through the cracks. If everything has to go through the single owner, I would definitely suggest some sort of administrative assistant or something to help with the day to day to ensure your customers are getting good service. read more

This place is a chain, right? Not sure how much they vary from location to location. The colors here are cartoonish, and if you're not ready for them they might overwhelm you. There's enough white on the walls that you won't get dizzy, but other than that, everything feels lime green and electric purple in here. That must be a chain thing, because the plastic spoons and everything were those colors. I haven't had frozen yogurt in probably 20 years or more, though I like ice cream and have hit some of the gelato places too. But on hot days this stuff sounds good. The pineapple yogurt really tasted like pineapple, and the plain yogurt was genuinely tart and tangy--tasted like actual living-culture yogurt. You get all the toppings and it gets kinda expensive; almost $12 for two of their cups of yogurt with the crushed up sprinkly stuff on top. You get to choose from all kinds of stuff, though: candy bars, nuts, syrups, jams, cool whip. When the craving strikes, this place does the job for sure. The furniture here is definitely designed to get you out as quickly as possible. Hard little plastic chairs and tables. Parking here is just OK, and the strip malls really pack in together. Conveniently enough (or not), Weight Watchers is in the suite literally right next door. read more

One month in.... they seem understaffed at times, but they try hard to keep the toppings stocked. I guess it's difficult when the line is out the door! But honestly, sometimes I see one girl behind the counter checking out customers while 2 others are just running around empty-handed. This is overall a pretty good yougurt shop. The store has an amazing toppings bar with a ton of options. The toppings all looked fresh, were well stocked and had great variety. The yougurt flavors were tasteful and a good variety; however, the sample cups could use a little improvement. They are very small but alot of yougurt is forced out even when you try to get a little out. The saddest part was the service. On 7/22 at 4:30, there was one younger female working who had very little customer service skills and had a get in get out attitude. This is very disapointing. Although I like the topping bar alot more at Menchies, Skinny Dip yougurt has outstanding service and this would be my location of choice because of it. If a business owner in todays economy and job market doesnt have good employees, they have zero excuses onto why. I hope the owner reads this and reviews their schedule to change things. read more

Anyway, it's self serve froyo and isn't bad for a quick almost ice cream but not quite fix. I'm a huge fan of the red velvet flavor and the cheese cake one, those two seem to be my main "go to" flavors when I pop by. With that said, it isn't bad but it really isn't that good either... Menchie's in Lynnwood is my substitute for Yogurtland when I don't wanna make the trip south.
