Having grown up in the area, this spot has a particular nostalgia shaped place in my heart. Food: (3/5) To be honest, it's not my favorite place to grab froyo but I like it because it's locally owned and more affordable than other places. I did just introduce this spot to my partner though and he loved it, so I'll probably be coming around more often. I would say my biggest gripe is that their flavors are super hit or miss. I particularly LOVE their snickers, taro, and pineapple (dole whip is a classic). But sometimes certain flavors can taste very very off, so I've just learned to stick to what I know is good. I recently saw that they have a kiosk where you can order among 200+ flavors incase they don't have one you're looking for in the manual dispensers. I don't usually write reviews, but I had to say something about this place because I was honestly pretty disappointed. The fresh tart flavor was very sour, and a lot of the other flavors didn't look appealing for the topping that they had. We tried the tiramisu cake even though it looked a little dry, and unfortunately it tasted old/stale. I can't say whether it was actually expired, but that's genuinely what it tasted like. There also wasn't a date on it, which I think is something that should definitely be included. The lychee boba also didn't taste like lychee at all. It had a really strange flavor that I couldn't even place. One of the frozen yogurt flavors also had a weird taste that reminded me of old milk, which was really unpleasant. I have nothing to say about the service. Nothing good nor bad. They have a lot of flavor options but the displayed flavors to try were not great the day I went. The chocolate mousse cake was actually good, so that was probably the only thing we really enjoyed. Overall, I just expected the products to taste fresher, especially for what we paid. I truthfully eat a little every night as a treat to myself for getting through the day lol I workout and lost a lot of weight this way ( I eat healthy all day and have a small bowl of the non fat chocolate with chocolate sprinkles! Wish i could give 0 stars. Waited over 15 minutes for the custom flavor. Girl with a mask and glasses had a terrible attitude. No greeting, didn't tell me my total, give me a spoon, or say thank you. She literally said nothing to me the whole checkout process. When I asked her how long the custom order takes she was rude and said' "well we are busy so takes a while". Wasn't even that busy. I just wanted to know how long i was going to be waiting but after her response i should have just left and not given this store any of my money. When i got my order there was a hair in it. The quality of their frozen yogurt is the same as other froyo places nearby, including Menchie's, but this place has lower calories, less fat/sugar, etc. It's a Win Win!! Plenty of flavors to choose from, and if you want to order 8 oz of something, you can pick from hundreds of other flavors made in under a minute! Only reason I'm docking a star is because their toppings are a bit stale and dry (Kit Kats & Brownies were the ones I grabbed). There's also a fairly large range of options for toppings, and I love how fresh the fruit always looks. I always go with strawberries, raspberries, and mochi. There's decent amount of seating inside, set up well for a small space. There are a couple of tables outside as well, if you want to enjoy some fro-yo on a nice day. The place always looks clean and organized, and parking is easy to find in front of the store. Depending on who's working, service can be inconsistent. At a glance, this place looks a lot like other yogurt places, and well-equipped, but this might be more of a relative statement than I realize. They've taken over a little corner of one of the strip mall buildings outlying Mill Creek Town Center, and their layout looks really sensible--you turn left, go through the cups, then the yogurt, and so on. This seems like it should be common sense, but other yogurt places seem to make more of an effort to put in lots of colorful walls and stations without making the most of their space. These guys definitely make the most of their space. They have the colorful walls, too. These yogurt places all seem to love crazy easter egg colors; this one is lime green and lavender. It doesn't quite hurt the eyes, but it does seem like a little kid's room. Makes sense, probably--lots of families and grandparents and little kids running around in here. They have lots of tables inside and out, and they even have a flat screen tuned to the game. Dad and grandpa can hang out, too. What makes this place seem unique is their huge variety of flavors--they only have about 14 flavors on at each moment, but you can order 70 others and they'll be ready in 30 seconds. You can order ANY of these flavors made non-dairy. That's really cool. They have tons of toppings, some in scoops, some in tongs, some in shaker bottles. All sweet stuff, of course--a few fruits and berries, but mostly candy, whipped cream, and so on. The kids who work here are super friendly and nice, and the prices seem fair enough for what you get. Although many of these flavors are basic, they do some sweet freaking flavors. My faves were candy cane, taro, cake batter, and gingerbread. So festive. I like. Want more than one flavor!?! BOOM! Get a divider to put in your cup to split the froyo. I have never seen this before but I'm wondering why no one came up with it earlier. Go to chill. I love the interior design of the place. When you thought a place could haven't enough *sparkles*, you see Skinny D's and you will be blown away. There are plenty of tables and comfy couches to lounge around. Great for groups.
