On the search for a Baskin-Robbins location after the one I went to as a I child closed down, I noted this location while driving 196th Street Southwest on a solo adventure one day. I made a point of stopping by today, Wednesday 4 March 2026, and getting one of their flavors I greatly enjoy, the chocolate peanut butter ice cream. The suite entrance/exit was clear, as was that it was open. The flavors were on display straight ahead from the doors. Looking over the options, my gaze was pulled in to the chocolate section. I spotted the flavor I came for, however, I did note a number of other mighty tasty looking options as well. A cordial worker asked me if I was ready and I went with a scoop of the chocolate peanut butter ice cream in a cup. They were quick in filling the order and taking my payment. Opting to take the scoop back to my car to eat it, I enjoyed the thickness of the peanut butter ribbons in the creamy chocolate ice cream. My four ounce scoop was a satisfying treat. read more

I came here because I was feeling Nostalgic and wanted a great Hot Fudge Sundae. This place did not disappoint. If you have narrowed your choice of flavors down, you can have one of each however you want, loaded up with Hot Fudge, whipped cream, chopped Almonds, and a cherry. They have ice cream cakes, and different cones. They scoop and serve just like I remember. You can sample too. I want to come back for a Banana Split next time. :) read more

Good service, good ice cream selections. I ordered a double scoop Daiquiri Ice Cream (like a sherbet) taste sour and extremely delicious! the ambiance was cool. There were no one else inside and I had time to choose and select my choices. Prices are very reasonable. Glad I had another day of ice cream cravings lol. Plenty of parking. Only the parking lot was not well lit (nothing to do with the establishment though) just something to keep in mind if you go in the evening. Same parking lot as Fred Meyer. read more

I urgently needed an ice cream cake for a spontaneous surprise birthday. I walked in not knowing what they had in stock and saw only one employee (Danika) working to serve the party before me. Once Danika was done with the first party I asked her a question regarding the different sizes of the ice cream cakes they have and she quickly told me how many people each size would serve (she was knowledgeable) and I even asked a question if one of their smoothies was dairy free and she knew that as well! Once I made up my mind and ordered, Danika worked hard and quickly told pack my cake carefully and quickly make my smoothie. And all the while she was very kind and friendly and hard working. A great example of the amazing kinds of people working in our common chain restaurants and stores we take for granted. She was my hero, made my day quick and easy, and deserves a raise! Baskin-Robbins will always have a special place in my heart! The ice cream is as delicious as ever, and it brings back so many nostalgic memories. One of my favorite things is that they still have the clown cone--just like when I was a kid! It's such a fun, classic treat that adds a bit of joy to any visit. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is the location isn't ideal and sometimes the ice cream can be a little too sweet for my taste, but overall, it's still one of my go-to spots for a sweet indulgence. Clean location inside, I was pleasantly surprised with the seating and cool hanging lights. The employees were friendly and the ice cream is always yummy! Outside seating would have been a bonus but that's ok. Parking lot can be a little busy since it's Fred Meyers with a busy laundromat next door and other businesses. read more

I was "jones-ing" for a smoothie. 400 miles form home in a part of Seattle I wasn't familiar with. Found this place and I didn't notice but it was 10 minutes before opening time. Door was unlocked and I went in without knowing. With a tiny bit of coaxing, the girl made me a Mexican style drink with chile pepper on top. I really didn't expect that, I'm an idiot and didn't read carefully, AND it was fabulous. I will look again for a Baskin Robbins for that drink. read more

To be fair, I fully expect to get stink-eyed by overzealous employees when I'm shopping for my wife at Tiffany's or lingering too long around the luxury sedan section of the local Nissan dealer... but that a store this shoebox-sized, shabby and simple in its basic sales function could find it in itself to have the one employee working the counter suspiciously linger behind us while we selected an ice cream cake is pretty much a feat of modern commerce. Seriously: is there some unreported spate of daring daylight robberies for Oreo Ribbon confections being perpetrated by dumpy-ass, middle-aged bohemes that's been plaguing the area? Did my visible hitch-step from early onset toe arthritis give an indication of a smash-and-grab possibility? Did the words "hi, how's your day going?" read as a red flag, requiring such a dagger-eyed degree of vigilance? I don't know what the hell sort of thousand-yard trauma the scoop-jockeys have undergone to give them the wariness of a bodega manager in Crenshaw, but do yourself a solid and just get your cake fix at Fred's, instead. read more

They quoted us a cake price on the phone and the cake was labeled that price in the store. However the manager would not honor that price and we had to pay almost double. We had to get the cake for a birthday party that day. She was also quite rude. We won't be going back. read more

Don't EVER order from Lynnwood B.R. through DoorDash or other delivery. It's basically permission for the staff to do whatever they want as far as getting your order right. I've tried it THREE times now, this last time I called and the snippy little Sophia asked me why I continue to order if there's always a problem. This is AFTER I called before I placed my order because I know their staff can't get anything right, so I went over my order first, then immediately paid thru Doordash. Evidently Sophia has a sieve for a brain because the order contained half of what I ordered, and was underweight (don't they know everyone has scales at home now?). One of the workers who seemed to be in training was brutally yelled at in front of me repeatedly because she asked simple questions on how to do things correctly. I've ordered ice cream cakes from this particular Baskin Robbins for many, many years. They have consistently made these cakes beautifully whenever I've ordered them. Since a lot of Baskin Robbins are family owned, the quality isn't consistent at each location. (I've gotten some terrible looking cakes before at other locations.) I like the cake decorations and whoever writes on it has pretty handwriting. We always preorder it. I will continue coming here whenever we want ice cream cakes! :) read more

Horrible service! Arrived at 9:45pm with the place closing at 10:00pm. The girl ushered us along saying half of the things we wanted we couldn't order because they were closing up. I took the plunge and tried a new flavor. Never had sherbert before and never will again.. at least not a clown cone one. I usually get the clown cones because they have the frozen frosting and cherry I like. Babe got a scoop of snickers which was actually way better. The service was great. Kind of a small shop. I feel like I tipped for stale ice cream. The cone had a somewhat soggy taste to it and the frosting left a horrible taste in my mouth. So last Saturday the 25th, I called to ask what was the cheapest cake that was in stock and the girl working at the time said around 20 bucks and also depending on what design you put on the cake. I was like oh just like a "happy birthday mom" and she continued with yes so around 20. So I go and had to wait outside because only four people are allowed in at a time which is fine since we're in a pandemic, although there was like 8 people in there. Anyways when I go in after waiting quite a bit, turns out there were ZERO cakes at the price that was told to me and the girl goes "well that was over an hour ago" lol I called at 3:55 and showed up at the store around 4:30 and I'm like okay.... and grabbed a more expensive cake but when i told the girl that I wanted "happy birthday mom" she told me the cake decorator wasnt even in today... Now I got a little annoyed since I was in a time crunch. Both things are something that should've been communicated on the phone, I wasted a lot of time coming in when that was the purpose of the CALL lol she seemed like she was new working girl so I understand but someone just has to show her how to communicate properly. Horrible service. There was only one person working and clearly did not want to serve us. There were two other workers sitting down with a friend and blasting inappropriate music. I love Baskin Robbins ice cream and the ice cream has nothing to do with the two stars I'm rating. The rating is based purely on the fact that there was one person in line other than me and my partner, yet both people were helping the other person and it took about 10 minutes to even be helped. We also weren't greeted when we walked in. There is no customer service here. I said something before the girl even said anything to us because she kinda just walked up and stood there. So my step-daughter wanted an ice cream cake for her birthday so of course I thought of Baskin Robbins. After spending $27 on a cake I realized that I couldve probably gotten more bang for my buck if I had done a little research and gone somewhere else. The service was good here tho, the girl behind the counter offered to write Ashlyns name on there and hold the cake in their freeezer until just before the bday party. I'm sure this is customary but it was still nice. They definitely don't have all the awesome cakes that their website advertises so that was sort of lame and disappointing. On the website they had an amazing looking chocolate ice cream cake that had us all drooling. Unfortunately the store didn't have it. Maybe if u pre-order things are different but we were in a jam for a cake sort of last minute so what should I expect? I will update after we taste the cake tomorrow and post some pics!
