[[HIGHLIGHT]]It's crazy because I've visited this plaza numerous times, (as recently as last week), and I never noticed this gorgeous place![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Although parking can be tight sometimes, there are dozens of spaces available within the plaza for all of the businesses that are there. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I lucked up and got a space right out in front near their beautiful sidewalk seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's even more beautiful inside! The colors and decor were so calming and light, there wasn't loud music blaring, just a peaceful place.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]There are a number of tables and bar-style seats for guests whether you're there to meet an old friend or to get some work done.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Electrical ports are limited to certain sections of seating, so come fully charged just in case you can't snag one of those seats.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] MEND is an accessibility-first business and I love that they focus on hiring all kinds of people. We received wonderful service and smiles from entry to exit! [[HIGHLIGHT]]I also have to say that their bathroom was one of the best-smelling restrooms that I have ever been in. It was SO clean and the candle burning made it even better.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] During my visit I enjoyed a brown sugar latte, a guava passion fruit refresher and the salmon lox bagel. Everything was delicious!! The refresher was so amazing, I could drink that everyday. And I'm not alone in that feeling because I saw about 7 other folks sipping on the same thing. In a world (city) with Mend Coffee in existence, there's NO earthly excuse to EVER go to Starbucks, any other chain, or any other independent coffee shop for that matter. WORTH the drive OUT of your way to go here! Met a friend at Mend coffee to catch up and chat...[[HIGHLIGHT]]first of all, it must be a popular place bc every table inside was full.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]There were people chatting and catching up, there were a ton of laptops out, and I think I saw a private meeting room being occupied while I was there.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service was as expected - friendly baristas taking your coffee order. I saw many people ordering food and they would give customers a number and run it out to them after the food was sufficiently heated. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We sat outside at one of their 8/9 tables. I recently visited Mend to try out their coffee. I ended up deciding not to get coffee but I did get one of their seasonal drinks. I got the peach matcha iced latte and also a blueberry muffin. Both the latte and the muffin were fantastic! The employees were nice, provided their recommendations, and made everything pretty fast. Such a beautiful coffee shop with an even more beautiful mission! Mend Coffee & Goods is an accessibility-first cafe and marketplace offering employment to people of all abilities. It's safe to say this quickly has become one of my favorite local coffee shops. Although Buckhead is quite a ways from me, it's completely worth the drive. It can be a busy area to park during weekends so you may have to walk a little ways from parking a bit out. II. SERVICE Kind and timely. They offer a self-service water station. All of their drinks are packaged to-go on plastic or paper. No dishware. III. QUALITY Their lattes are standard and do the job! I did notice serving sizes here are rather small for the price (like a size medium is a small in comparison to surrounding competitors) IV. CAPACITY [[HIGHLIGHT]]Busy on weekends. Mend is my favorite cafe in the area. I've gone here several times in the past month, and it is impressive every time. The photos alone are drinks I got from three different visits. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance of the cafe is just beautiful. I love how brightly lit it is, and it just feels so welcoming.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The employees of the cafe are amazing. I always love chatting with them when I come in (if it's not too busy), and they always provide such great service. On top of that, the coffee and food at this location is just delicious. I love their coffee and their matcha, and while I did enjoy their last menu, their new menu is also fantastic. Their oatmeal and breakfast sandwich are just sooooo good. My husband and my favorite dish of theirs is probably the roasted chicken sandwich. Their bread is to die for, and everything in the sandwich is just to die for. We decided to split the sandwich between us when we last visited, but I think we both regretted that decision while eating. read more

The second time I came I got the matcha. Maybe I should've gotten ice but the powder to milk ratio was a little off because It had a slight grainy texture to my sips. What a great place! I'm sincerely hoping it is an independent café. I don't want to look or know otherwise. I've gone 3 times so far and I've enjoyed everything each time. The food is good and the coffee tastes great. The beverage menu is expansive. The food menu is a little limited but great for a coffeehouse. The service is so good, friendly, and sweet. It's well priced. Good value in that it gives you more in every way than the popular chain coffee places do. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The shop is large and bright. The decor adds to the effect with its light wood furnishings and big windows.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There still seem to be some kinks in the delivery of beverages and food. Mend was a quick caffeine stop for me during a busy day. This cafe is decorated to the T! The flowers on each table and pleasant smell made me know that care was put into each little step of this place. The service was lovely with patient and very friendly staff. Dirty dishes were cleared off tables at lightening pace and I watched as each person who entered and exited got wished a good day. It's pretty rare now a days for me to give 5 stars at a coffee shop! But this place deserves it. I am so happy it opened and I think this may become my regular place now because the quality of the coffee is above a lot of ones in buckhead, with a better price and a very elegant ambiance. This place is perfect to come for a meet up with friends or a breakfast spot. The cafe seems like a grab and go with a pick up area for those on the move but they will also bring food to your table. Everyone was super nice but there wasnt much interaction past the ordering. They have a season kombucha that I think changes once a month but I am not confirmed on when they do that, so if you're a booch fan this might be the place for you! I found Mend Coffee & Goods on Yelp and decided to try them out on yesterday. There is plenty of seating inside and outside, which is perfect for studying, working or enjoying a cup of coffee with a book! The decor is aesthetically appealing accompanied by very light and airy colors. The decor is very classy, chic, and elegant. It wasn't too busy but when I arrived there were no baristas at the counter to take my order. It didn't take long for them to appear and I was able to place my order. I ordered the iced caramel mocha and it was delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed my coffee and probably one of the best iced caramel mochas I've had in a while. I am fully aware this business prioritizes employing individuals with disabilities. That mission does not excuse discriminatory treatment. My first time visiting, I was repeatedly ignored while standing in line as other customers were acknowledged, spoken to, and assisted. A male employee approached customers standing directly beside me to identify food orders, asked them questions, and never once addressed me or asked if the order was mine. My food was handled around me, offered to others, and ultimately I had to return to the counter to retrieve it myself. This was not a one-off mistake. It was a clear pattern of exclusion by a particular employee. When a customer is consistently bypassed while others receive direct engagement, that is differential treatment. As a Black customer, the racial component of this interaction was impossible to ignore. Supporting disability employment is important. That mission does not override the responsibility to treat all customers with equal respect and dignity. This experience was unacceptable, and I would not return. read more

Wow, I might've found a favorite coffee shop in Atlanta! This is like walking into a dream or a movie set. The "set design" is SO classy and elegant. Muted colors, clean and open, airy, light-filled, and no loud music playing. Not overly crowded either, surprisingly. It can get a little louder just because the patrons are talking throughout the room. But the coffee--chef's kiss. The food, a little pricey, but chef's kiss. It has everything I want in a coffee shop: relaxed & airy ambiance, quiet-ish atmosphere, not crowded, plenty of free parking, great coffee, refills on the drip $1 each, clean bathrooms, plenty of outlets and wifi. On top of all that, the place has a mission, a Christian connection, and is ADA accessible ALL OVER, from the 2 french doors that will open for you, to the bathrooms! Plus, if you do get hungry and want to step out for a lunch break, plenty of healthy food options nearby, including CHOPT--a salad place. I'm definitely going back. read more

We finally got a chance to check out this new coffee shop in Buckhead! It was the second or third week they were open, so operations were running very smoothly. My first impression is that the space is much bigger than your average coffee shop. It was no problem finding a seat. And speaking of seats, their concept is an accessibility-first place, so there are all kinds of seating options for those with different abilities, including in the bathrooms. The next thing I noticed was the design! It is gorgeous inside and I would love for my house to be decorated using the same theme. There is a little nook to the right with some tables and outlets, and to the left is the "goods" portion of Mend Coffee & Goods. They have books, candles, clothing, etc. all tied to the accessibility theme. There is also a private room in the bak that you can rent for a meeting. Now onto the coffee, which was great. There is a small food menu, which I got some bread and butter from and it was delicious. The staff was fabulous and I plan on being back soon! read more

Probably one of the best kept secrets in Buckhead! Mend Coffee just opened up and what a place this is! When you walk in, you're met with a well lit, spacious seating area surrounded by various alcoves for larger groups. They serve Bellwood coffee and they give you a plethora of options to choose from whether it be hot or cold, lattes to americanos. I really liked their avocado toast! They also have quiche offerings as well (goat cheese?) and everyone goes above and beyond in offering service with a smile and a coffee ready to be served. But what really sells you on this place is the heartbeat of it. The brainchild of Jay and Katherine Wolf who's story of medical tragedy and miracle and hope can drive you into a live that affords you the ability to also be agents of hope and redemption. From their story comes their organization, Hope Heals. A non-profit that specifically communicates this message of hope to the disabled community. Between the ambiance of a serene coffee shop that can hold its own against the big chain joints, the extremely friendly staff, and flavors of Bellwood coffee served hot or cold, this place is the place to be!!! read more
