This was not being done with our previous service, so our chems were way off. Over the next 24-36 hours, he executed a plan to remediate the chemistry of our pool. And it worked! We did not like the expectation of the company that we would leave a side gate open for them on service days or provide a key. There was little to no communication about the work being done or what would be necessary for the pool. They were very communicative and timely around asking for payment at the end of the month. They wrote all over our system in sharpie, and regularly failed to communicate between technicians, so we were answering the same questions over and over. Rates were competitive, but the value did not equate to the provided service or lack of communication--around service times, maintenance, and the services themselves. The technicians changed frequently, and we were often left feeling like we were added to a schedule as opposed to a regular weekly customer. Given everything, we will be seeking alternative options for this season.

The rate he gave us to do the job was reasonable, and very competitive. After Juan arrived to do the job, he told me that our Pentair WhisperFlo pool pump was far superior than the XtremepowerUS pool pump I had purchased to replace it. He told me that all I really needed to do was to have the pool pump motor replaced. Frankly, I had forgotten that replacing the the pool pump motor was an option. We had done that many years before with a refurbished pool pump motor so that we could continue using our Pentair WhisperFlo pool pump. Juan's honesty about it impressed me, especially since he could have simply done the job as I hired him to do, and he would have made more money. So not only did he save me a good amount of money, but he left me and my wife better off than we otherwise would have been had he installed the inferior XtremepowerUS pool pump. As for the installation of the pool pump motor, he answered every question that I had about it, and he taught me a few things in the process, which I really appreciated. Thanks to Juan, I now have a much better understanding about how our Pentair WhisperFlo functions in relationship with the pool pump motor he installed. The next time I need help with pool equipment, or anything else pool related, Juan will definitely be the expert I'll be contacting. His expertise is invaluable, and I highly recommend his services.

However they'd only gotten some of it - not all. We were very frustrated so I called Eric Perez. Eric came out and proposed a resolution asap. They treated the water, then scrubbed all walls repeatedly over several days then tested water. Problem was fully resolved in about two weeks. Additionally, Eric helped to troubleshoot a pool lighting issue to make all lights work effectively, re-piped pump-to-heater for more efficient flow, and fixed a leaky seal. We were impressed with how quickly he diagnosed all issues of concern and then got them corrected in a timely manner. We had to go through two other so called "pool experts" and ridiculously inaccurate quotations before identifying that Eric was best for the job.
