At the beginning I thought most of the service provider will be off on the weekend and I have to left a voicemail. Guess what? Mr Walt picked up the phone and went over all the issues we have during the conversation. Surprisingly he took immediate action and came to our house on the same day! He checked the existing equipment and texted me all the details including all the parts we need to replace plus the labor associate with each item. He is very knowledgeable on what he is doing and he came to our house again on the next day to replaced all the broken parts. He took pictures and videos to send over to my cellphone so that I can confirm the pool is working perfectly after his service. Most important part is the price was very reasonable and I didn't even negotiate the invoice. Moreover, he addressed all the potential issues that our pool may have and provide the options to me. Since I will sell the property soon I don't want to spend that much money on "remodel" or "rebuild" the pool as long as it works properly. At the last, this is my first Yelp review I have ever wrote for any type of business in the past 9 years (I came to US in 2007 as FOB) and I feel grateful to share my story and experience with Walt Conklin Pool and Spa service with all other users. But prior to leaving some minor plumbing leaks occurred which he promptly rectified. I checked the install the next day and found some NEW minor leaks. Then Sam, the repair manager, was awesome in dealing with the warranty company and getting the claim to go through after hours of being on the phone. Finally Ryan came out and completed all the work and got everything working again. Even the people who pick up the phone when you call them are pleasant and helpful. I paid for the estimate and when he came to service my pool he did a half ass job. When I asked him to complete the pool cleaning thoroughly he refused unless I paid extra. After going back and forth he said he would do it at his CONVENIENCE. And he had the audacity to say that I caught him off guard. Shortly after, he stopped answering his calls entirely. One more thing, I could have swore I smelled alcohol on him when he came to do the work. This was a terrible experience.

He had specific testing equipment to accurately measure different aspects of our pool's chemistry, and then to see exactly how to treat it to bring it into safer ranges. This was not being done with our previous service, so our chems were way off. Over the next 24-36 hours, he executed a plan to remediate the chemistry of our pool. And it worked! He spent another hour here cleaning and assessing hardware so we have an idea what will be done moving forward. Now I have peace of mind. Bob himself is knowledgeable and courteous.
