They replaced all the paper towel in the bathroom with blow dryers that don't heat up and they just blow cold water on your hands and none of the teachers like really care what you do and it's not that great. I come to this school and have mr.Fuentes as my history teacher 1st period. He teaches 6th and 7th graders. Today he told me and my classmates to put our phone away even though they were in our back pocket. He came up to me and told me to put my phone away and pointed to my butt?? My friend also had a weird experience like this with him.her phone was in between her thighs, and mr.Fuentes said to her why her phone was in between her thighs. Btw he has a wife and 2 kids. This school has 3 principals. Each are paid more than 200k a year. They have violence in this school. My son was violently attacked by another student (had his head bashed in walls) and the school only called the paramedics. They do not call law enforcement, they leave that for the parents to do. This is one of the most wealthiest schools in the district and they DO NOT HAVE A RESOURCES OFFICER?? This district is disgraceful- they do not have the children's wellbeing FIRST. They have had several fights this year and yet they still don't add in a resource officer. They make you call the police for an assault and they don't let you know how they are handling the child who ATTACKED YOUR CHILD!!! This school is a liability. I will be looking into an attorney to help with my situation after my son is out of the hospital today. These parents and this school need to be accountable and transparent!!! read more

My son has expressed serious concerns about the male PE teachers at his school. He says Mr. McNeel watches him and his friends use the urinals in the restrooms and wait until they are done using the restroom. He also says that they will watch him and his friends change in the locker room , which makes him very uncomfortable because that's a grown adult watching kids change. He also says they get him and his friends in trouble unfairly and that he is extremely unhappy with the school overall. He and his friends strongly feel that he would not recommend this school to anyone. This situation needs to be addressed immediately with the school administration. All my kids went to MVMS, one being a Special Needs Student. The teachers and kids were fine. The only problems I had actually came from the staff strangely. This was directly due to the IEP. Which caused me great stress. If your kid needs specific services you cannot just ask for it. They have to do long extensive testing to see if your kid qualifies for that specific need. Whatever you do do not agree to have ANYTHING taken out of the IEP you will not be able to just simply ask for it to be put back in! One of my kids saw bullying twice the entire time there. The Principal has zero involvement with the parents. I don't know if it's a district thing but if your kid is deliberately injured by another student the school will do NOTHING, one of my kids was attacked by another student in elementary school requiring my kid to be in a cast for many months. Because when kids are suspended or expelled it causes the school score to go down, just like how the score for the school goes down for State Tests. I've been to the district school board meetings, spoke myself, MUSD does not listen to the parents. FYI from what I've heard it's all about pay, benefits and retirement packages. This school is horrible. I pulled my son out the second week after enrollment. They handled Covid horribly, they handle IEP plans horribly, they handle bullying absolutely horribly and their staff bullies people on Facebook. Today it's another year and my youngest son was bullied by her once more on 2/12/2018 . I actually thMy two sons have experienced bullying and humiliation by the school's P.E. teacher. Porsha Dittmore has pushed my kids who have asthma and other health issues to run, no exceptions. My middle son called her a name in 2015/2016 after she harassed him .It was said under his breath, but a classmate heard and "reported" this. I was called and when I got down to what actually took place I felt she did not deserve an apology. Porsha Dittmore has had a vendetta against my family ever since. When my youngest son started attending the school the following year, he was assigned to her. In no time I had to report her for publicly humiliating him in front of her class to Mr. Walsh. I assumed he addressed her about it.I had a prior complaint about a Science teacher doing the same thing .He told me that he wasn't allowed to tell me what actions are taken against teachers or students. The science teacher however became super supportive afterwards and I didn't hold a grudge. Even though she was present at a later date for this child's I.E.P and knew he had some issues, she continued blaming and shaming him in front of his classmates. My child wanted to kill himself and when I went to Menifee School District about this, because the Principle was in a "MEETING", they assured me something would be done. I had to threaten to embarrass her and the district would be shamed with her . ought she moved on to another school or district. Don't trust schools to discipline bad teachers. read more

Once again, another stressful day with one cause. PE. I do not mind PE it's self, but there is one specific PE teacher that makes it miserable. Porsha Dittmar... one time I asked to go to the nurse because I did not feel well. and she accused me of making excuses! What surprised me the most is that other then that, she handled the situation with ease. When I thought PE was just going to be an easy A, boy how I was wrong! It does not matter if you participate or try your best, it's either you do it right or fail. Of course though, she's only nice when she wants to be, but I know many others who also agree Mrs. Dittmar is really not a preferred choice of teacher. read more

We just move to Menifee from good Orange County Schools. When we started at MVMS we were worried about the academics, but we have been very happy so far this year. Good teachers and our daughter is happy there. School work seems comparable to where we are from. I just though the school should have recognition for this since most reviews on yelp are bad. read more

This is like the best middle school a kid can go to. It has a lot of events and all school participation's.
