Guess what - good lesson for the kid. It's doesn't really matter what your intention was, only how the comment was received. If you have to explain yourself, you probably should have thought a little more in depth before opening your mouth. As far as the front office staff is concerned, I've had to pull my 8th grader out every other month for orthodontist appointments since 6th grade and I've never had a problem. Sounds like the logistics and some of the personal problems of some of these parents might be causing issues for the school so a little push back is taken as rudeness. I'm reality, they're doing their best to make sure the kids are safe and secure. This is my son's final year at Bella Vista (6th grade was full COVID, distance learning) and he's excelled academically. He went in with straight A's from elementary school, started in advanced classes, and has maintained his excellent grades. The teachers are reasonable and firm with expectations based in realism - face it, they're working with freakin' pre-teens and young teens - terrible job in my opinion but glad they are there doing their best for my son everyday. My daughter will gladly go to Bella Vista after another year of elementary school because big brother has had such a positive experience.

I especially wanted to recognize Mrs. Ramon for the kindness, patience, and support she has shown throughout the school year. She creates a classroom environment where kids feel welcomed, encouraged, and cared about. As a parent, that means everything. She has always been thoughtful in her communication, supportive of students' individual needs, and genuinely invested in helping her students grow both academically and emotionally. My son looked forward to going to class, and I truly appreciate the effort her and Mr. Jason put pop into teaching every day. Over the years, we've met so many caring staff members at Springs, and the Murrieta Student Center has truly felt like a community for our family. A very special thank you to all of the staff, especially Mrs. Sarah and Mrs. Jordan, who over the years have made navigating these waters so much easier. Their patience, guidance, understanding, and willingness to help have meant more than I could ever properly put into words. And we absolutely cannot forget Mr. Jason. Even in just this past year, the positive impact, encouragement, and support he gave my son made such a difference. The kindness and patience he showed never went unnoticed. For families navigating unique learning needs, having people who truly care makes all the difference, and we have felt that support here time and time again. Thank you, Mrs. Ramon, and thank you to Springs Charter School for all the support, encouragement, and care you've given our family over these past four years. We are incredibly grateful. If parking is the only complaint in 5 years I'd say you're doing pretty good. Lol.

Furthermore, Sherry Marino was instructed by Mical Bell Andrews to not allow my son, that has known health issues, to go to the health room or call home when he was ill. This was brought to my attention by employees and I have declarations from several faculty. My son suffers from chronic stomach issues and was witnessed sitting through his lunch AND recess with his head on the table in pain after being refused to go to the health room. This school is horrible and nobody seems to want to talk about. I will not be quiet about the continued abuse these poor children are experiencing. When I addressed these issues I was met by a noncaring board member named Jennifer Bursch that could care less about the abuse my son had been through. Her emails were cruel and denying without any concern whatsoever for the truth or facts. I am beside myself at the non Christlike actions of this school and their board of directors. This school has done nothing but deteriorate since Mical Bell was allowed to reside as principal.

As far as the chemical guy, it's only for people who are using it and on it commercially. Casual exposure isn't going to affect. Overreaction is a major problem with our society today. The 2nd day it happened I called the district and Tom Patain seemed shocked that I would even need to explain myself if I showed it (AGREED!). I then received a call from the principal assuring me it would not happen again and that he spoke to #1 and #2. Come day 3 and Flabio did it again! He was shooing me away and saying "I don't care" when pointing to my placard. I had to call the office who had to call him to tell him to let me in. Now, during all of these interactions, I recorded them all but I did not raise my voice, call names or anything rude at all, just record (them violating civil rights and ada) . Aftwr he let me in and I went to park, he approached me in my car with my child to call me "mean and rude" and that he didn't care he was violating civil rights and didnt care if I sent it to the superintendent. If he doesn't care if he is violating civil rights, what could he be doing to disabled (a protected class) students on campus? So far, no word back from the superintendent but his secretary Amanda did seem concerned.
