She claims to be an Enrolled Agent but she is not currently authorized by the IRS as a CPA or Enrolled Agent. You should consider filing a police report and a complaint with the Better Business Bureau based on the experiences you have had. Absolutely deplorable tax accountant, we used Heather for years and then came back to her in 2018…read more My husband and I thought all of our taxes were being filed correctly and on time, only to receive letters from the IRS and FTB starting in December of 2022 that our corporate taxes were filed incorrectly for 2018 & 2019 AND 2021 corporate taxes were filed 7 months late. We tried to contact Heather and her staff by email and phone to no avail and no resolution. After 2 trips to her office in an attempt to get the specific requirements by the IRS and the FTB resolved, we are now sitting in her office (for the 3rd time this week) for 2 plus hours and the clock is still ticking, AND we are still waiting for all of the documents to address all of the misfiled tax documents by Heather. We incurred over $1750 in interest and penalties for the incorrect computation on taxes and for filing taxes 7 months late. She refuses to refund us for the penalty's and interest, although we submitted the tax paperwork on time, paid the taxes on time and paid her fees for work performed on time. If you want a shoddy shady accountant, who takes zero responsibility for her work Heather is a go to for sure!

It really made me wonder what was in all those piles of papers that were stacked every which way. I also always found them a bit expensive. Last year they sent out a window of time to pick up and sign the tax forms. I showed up on one the days they said, and the whole place was closed. I went in the next day and mentioned that I had tried to come on the date that they specifically told me, and the woman working in the front desk looked at me like I was a horrible person and said in a shocked voice, "IT WAS EASTER!" This year, in January, when I scheduled my meeting with Max, to discuss a few things and drop off my tax forms. I specifically requested a date early enough to have my taxes filed on time. Last night, when I started to work on my tax packet I saw that they had a cut off date of today and so I called the office to get clarification, since I knew I had specifically requested a date before their cutoff. I should have another couple of days. Not only did they not apologize for their scheduling mistake, but they also told me they would charge me $150 to file an extension. I will not be using them ever again.
