They are also great with kids as I've watched them cut numerous kids' hair with minimal tears shed (you know how that goes if you're a parent...) They also do a great job with women's hair, but only offer limited services to women. (However they're considering adding some extra styling options just for women.) My wife gets her hair cut here and loves it, since she adds highlights on her own at home. They recently added beard and hair gray removal coloring for men and I've witnessed a number of men who seem to be very pleased with the job that is done. The only downside to Hair Kutz is the no appointment policy they have, and they do not take credit cards. Therefore everything is walk-in and cash only, but the full 5 star review comes from the fact that they are speedy and courteous to rectify that issue (and close to an ATM, to boot.)
