This is the Salon you want to use.We took our homeless friend in to get a hair cut and trim ,after we were turned down by another Salon , without a second thought and with dignity and respect he was ushered to a chair not only to get shaped up but free of charge .If I had the name of the barber I would post it in this review but I think all in that shop would have done the same kind thing.I'm a new loyal fan. This was the best experience that I have gotten from a barbershop in a long time. I just recently moved to Wilmington. I did not know were to go. I went to and got a haircut somewhere else and they really did a number on me. I was so lucky that I have found on the same day Trolley Grooming Lounge! Because I had to get 2 haircut in the same day. I have never had to do that. Thats how had it was with the first haircut at the other place. I called Trolley Grooming Lounge and Mark got me in the same day! He did more then a great job. I will recommend this place to everyone! It only takes to to there one time and this will be your spot to go and just as it it mine now to get a fresh cut! Mark cut my hair but I am sure everyone there will do just as great job as Mark did. Not sure where to begin..... I have gotten a straight razor shave numerous times at Barber Shops in other areas. It is quite a treat and when done right, you get a great shave. Locally, not many options for a straight razor shave, however I found this place and gave it a shot. I should have known I was in trouble when the first thing the guy did was pull out clippers to trim my stubble? I only had a few days of growth, not a beard? In all the years I have gotten a straight razor shave, that has never taken place. Then, I hear 'sorry' numerous times as he continues to slice me. Not shaving knicks, but legit cuts. When he is done the straight razor part, he actually pulls out an electric razor to get some spots that he said he 'missed'! I couldn't believe what was taking place. Once again, in all the years I have been getting a straight razor shave....another first. When he finally pulls me up and I look in the mirror, I have white stuff all over my face to stop the bleeding and patches of hair still in various spots. I had to go home, shave, stop the bleeding, and 4 days later am continuing to tend to the scabs on my face. These guys try to act like old school barbers and they know what they are doing, it is a joke. Do not go to this place for a straight razor shave, you will be sorry. read more
