My son needed a suit for a black tie event and the service we received was exemplary. We were greeted the moment we walked in the door and were able to find a gorgeous suit in the sale area. The sales associate measured my son and helped us find the perfect socks and shirt to match the bow tie and pocket square we had bought. She even folded the pocket square for us! Both sons went with their dad to rent tuxedos for homecoming. Their adult sister took them to pick them up. While there, they had to try them on. One son's tux was fine. The other one, his was not. His pants were tight, and he told the black female that they were... this is where the trouble began. She decided to tell my son it was because he had a "bubble butt". So, we have body shaming. After embarrassing him and making him uncomfortable by her first comment, she then told him, "Drop it like it's hot. I know you don't know what that means, but drop it like it's hot." I don't know what type of tomfoolery they have going on at this location, but that's not how you talk to ANY customer, let alone a minor, he's 16. She messed with the right one though. I work in HR and what she did was sexually harass him. Would you talk to your coworker that way? Would she want someone to tell her something about any of her body parts? Would she have said that to a grown man? Absolutely not! There's a way to talk to people professionally, you're at work, not at the club with your homegirls. Now, I went to the store the next day when we dropped the tuxedos off and spoke with the assistant manager who told me that the manager would reach out Monday or Tuesday. I haven't heard anything and it's Saturday. My son didn't even want to go back to the store to return the tux. I'M NOT GOING TO BE QUIET ABOUT THE SITUATION!! Do not come here unless you want to wait almost an hour to pick up an order previously placed. The online queue is inaccurate and confusing. There was a long line and the employees seemed to have no sense of urgency. I am not sure why there isn't a seperate line for pick ups which take less than 10 minutes. I shouldn't have to wait in line for 50 minutes behind people who are getting fitted for 25 minutes each. My experience was very unsatisfactory and I will NOT be coming here again. read more

Extremely unprofessional and combative. I showed up at 10:05am for a return and was in an empty store with 5 employees, not one of which could say hello or good morning. After I looked at the suits on the rack to see if they could accommodate a 52r the manager came over to ask "what do you need" to which I replied "I have a return." The manger then stalked around the corner leaving me by the suit rack. I asked for the "individual" to give me their opinion on wether I needed a 52 or 54 in the suit jacket to which he replied "they don't come in 52 or 54." We went in for my son to set up tux rentals for himself and 7 groomsman. the young man that "helped" did not smile, greet and had the attitude of not wanting to be at work. When asked if they knew what they wanted my son said they weren't sure. He pointed to a middle table and said there are your options not even attempting to help or offer service. When the bride asked if they had the tuxes to view or better pictures then a tiny photo he said no this was just a rental so it didn't matter. So I did not get to share this on Saturday because we were just way too busy, but I had a great customer service experience. I was leaving my friends house on my way to Tuxes n Tails in my black suit. As I was driving out of Brandon I saw something white on my lap - my pants had split and my shirt was coming through the hole. I was stuck. It was too big to cover and I didn't want to risk making the hole worse. Trying to think fast, I google searched "Tuxedo rental" thinking maybe I could rent a tuxedo really fast. Google put me in touch with the Men's Wearhouse at Brandon town Center. I asked the gentleman on the phone if he could rent me a tuxedo on short notice. He told me that they don't keep them on site to rent. I candidly explained the situation to him and he said, "We have a tailor in house, we can do a quick repair." I told him I would be there in five minutes. I literally walked into the Men's Wearhouse in my boxer shorts, white shirt, and tie, holding my ripped pants. The sales person who answered the phone looked at me and said "you are lucky I don't have my cell phone with me." The tailor in the back of the store fixed my pants in under 10 minutes. He didn't even want to charge me to fix it. I gave him $20 anyway as a thank you. I got in my car and made it to the event just as they were serving the salad. What an incredible customer service experience. I wasn't shopping, I wasn't buying anything, but they offered to help me out and dropped everything to make sure I got out the door on time. Went this location today to pick up a few items for an event this weekend and for the cool weather. It seems as if this store has few items over xl. Anyway I was perusing the store in full sight of the manager for about 30 -40 minutes. He nor any of his subordinates offered assistance. Not "is there something in particular youre looking for, not what size are you looking for"...nothing. Then another non POC couple comes in and he immediately offered his assistance. After that I asked him why he immediately offered assistance to the other couple and essentially ignored me and he reply was " it looked like you were doing ok". What the hell does " doing OK" look like? I told him how shifty I thought he and his service team were and I will never shop and this effing dump again! In short: dirty tux, bad original fitting and had to come back twice, horrible wait times, and overall unprofessional service. My boyfriend needed a tux for a wedding. When the tux was ready for pickup we were greeted by an extremely long line. We were the next ones in line and had to wait 30min. Once my bf finally tried on the tux, it was way too big and had three white stains on the jacket. We looked at each other in horror and vocalized several times how horrible the jacket fit him. The person helping us heard all our complaints and ignored them saying "ok so are you good to take it home" to which we exclaimed "we can't leave here with this, it's horrible!" The women then had him try on a second jacket which fit him much better however they didn't have the brand of tux at the store and it would take another week for his tux to be ready (a day before the wedding - cutting it close). Fortunately, the tux was ready in time (around 2pm) so we went to pick it and and we're greeting with another very long line. We just wanted to pick up the tux at this point and not try on. There were two employees at the tux rental desk but it appeared that only 1 of them was doing anything (i could be wrong the second lady might have been doing something on the computer) So after 20 minutes I finally went to the front of the store and saw 2 employees seemingly not busy. I asked a man if he could help us as we just needed to pick up the tux and pointed out the 10 people in line. It just so happened by the time I walked to the back of the store my boyfriend was being helped (poor timing on my part I guess). The guy I asked to help us came to the back of the store and I said we were already helped to which he loudly proceeded to berate me in front of the line exclaiming "we are understaffed and have online orders! blah blah blah". I feel like he was trying to paint me as a Karen who wanted to "speak to the manager" in front of everyone in line. But I literally just wanted to get the tux and get out. I just looked at him and left the store tux in hand. I turned back before walking out and saw he had proceeded to help the other 10 people in line....so at least some people were benefitted from this. I wouldn't recommend this location. Either go to a local tux rental or another Tampa location. read more

Found a good looking suit but the pants needed tailoring. I went to the checkout to see what I had to do to get that done. Was told I should put the pants on and someone would mark them. Got a new job that required a new wardrobe of suits and dress clothes. I left with two full suits, a sport coat, 6 dress shirts, and 6 ties. The suits were designed perfectly with fantastic coordination with the shirts and ties. The salesperson has exceptional knowledge and made amazing decisions about the attire to fit my professional needs. I got the ssuits and shirts timely and they were tailored perfectly. Visited the Brandon Town Center store On 9.5.2022 in the AM. Do not waste your time. Not one person offered to help us. There were 7 staff in the store and maybe 3 customers including us. Been to this store a few times througout the years. I always feel like Im walking in to a latino nightclub and the sales guys are trying to buy me my first drink. I think one even put his hand around my shoulder and called me "papi". They're all weird and I'm not your boy bud. They also try to sell you the highest priced item even though the expectations were set when I walked in. They are overly eager to sell. I wont be back. To add from my previous review. I initially went in to make a return and look for a specific sport coat in a different size. When they told me they had NOTHING in my size, they informed me I could get a custom jacket starting at $450. No thanks man. I was very disappointed when my husband and I visited earlier this afternoon. The first suit the salesman tried to sell my husband was $700 and still needed to be altered. When we told him we were wanting to spend less he pretty much gave up and didn't want to help us anymore. We ended getting a Ralph Lauren suit at Macy's for less (including alterations.) I hate salesman who are more concerned with the commission rather than helping the customer. Very poor customer service. I would never recommend this location. read more

Worst experience ever!!! Customer service was absolutely atrocious on 9/27/2020 in Brandon FL. I couldn't get any help and the workers were completely oblivious to product knowledge and customer service. I was asking for a shirt size and this employee sat there blocking the shirt sizes I was trying to see in front her as she leaned over the shirts counter. Then I proceeded to speak loudly asking for my size, but zero response. Then I asked another woman for help since I was having a difficult time finding my size. Another mistake. Asked her the difference between slim fit and very slim fit and she said I would have to see the shirts. Then I asked her if I could order shirts in my sizes at the register and she replied yes, but then walked away without saying a word. I have shopped at this Men's Wearhouse a couple of times now. I have been a fan of the company for the last couple of years since I had to start buying adult clothes. I worked with Nick and Oscar both times I went there and was very happy with their service. I love the fact that you are always measured before you try stuff on so you don't waste time. There is a great selection of clothes that make you look like an adult. I never felt sales pressure like the other review mentioned. They were friendly polite and knowledgeable about their craft. They made suggestions that were appropriate and not off the wall. If you didn't know it Oscar is a vet and he supports veterans buy participating in the transition program at MacDill AFB helping recently retired or folks leaving the military understand how to dress for business. You have to applaud someone who helps vets in a time where they feel pretty vulnerable. Clothes prices are on the higher end but so is the quality and the service. They also do a lot of deals, get on their mailing list and be patient and you can score some nice clothes. My father has been a big fan of the company and I am too. I plan to get adult clothes online and at this store in the future. Only thing that prevents a 5 is location. Hard to get in and out of the town center area to go south.
