I went into men's warehouse in Madison Tennessee today and the sales associate, Trey was phenomenal!! My 17 year old son decided last minute he wanted to go to his prom, THIS WEEKEND. Trey was amazing. He helped my son with everything he needed. His demeanor was so kind and professional. I didn't get the managers name, but he was also very helpful and so so kind. I highly recommend, Men's Warehouse in Madison, Tennessee and I also highly recommend requesting Trey as your sales associate. He truly made our last minute prom shopping trip a breeze. For $250+ I would expect a nice white shirt that goes with the suit. The shirt was so cheap and see through. It felt scratchy and not tailored at all. It totally ruined the look for my son it doesn't matter how nice the suit is (it literally barely fit him. He couldn't really move). If you don't have a nice shirt it looks like trash. I am disappointed and I won't go here again. I am not a fussy mom it was really bad. I should have went to buy him a new crisp white shirt but I didn't have time I didn't know it would be so awful. Felt like it had been washed 400 times and dried like a thin cheap sheet. Do better! Maybe for $100 I wouldn't have complained but after tax we were in almost $300. For this look. read more

I had ordered a custom suit from a specialty place and they told me two days before the wedding they couldn't get me the suit. Went by the Madison Rivergate location with my son and the two men, playing the roles of eccentrics, were far less than helpful. One didn't seem to want anything to do with us and the other was rude. I'm not sure what their problems were but I've never been treated like that at Men's Wearhouse. My last experience with them was fantastic with a red carpet treatment. I went into MW in April, the week of the Spring Formal and when we told (I think his name was John) that we needed a suit he initially looked a little worried but he turned to my grandson and said he would get him taken care of. Absolutely awful experience! We scheduled an appointment but were told we would need to wait.The sales person provided zero direction, was very short, and made no effort to guide us in any direction or provide any information. He never took one measurement, threw jackets on my husband and said this is it. with pants. the 38 was too small and the 40 was huge... the saleman said- well i guess you will just have to chose. i think said, is there a different fit like fitted or slim that may fit differently, he shrugged and grabbed the fitted 38 that ended up actually being too big. we were confused, provided zero direction and when we told him we wanted to think about it, i asked if he could write down the info on the suit jacket and pants, he turned to me and said "you can take a picture of the tags" then disappeared. no one even noticed we walked out. so we went across the street to Dillard's across the street, had an amazing experience and dropped $1,000 for multiple suits. My son wanted a suit for his homecoming dance, so we came straight to this location. They were busy, so we browsed and then stood and waited until we could be helped. My son is autistic (high functioning) and when the guy came around to grab us, he asked what we were looking for and my son said he wanted something like (a tux) in black and white. The salesman looked at him, knew his size, grabbed his suit and found a polo for underneath. My son tried everything on, the salesman measured and altered the hem right then, and we were out the door in like 20 minutes. Kudos, y'all. I came in the store at 7:10 and was told by Natalie I could not get fitted for a suite since they had closing duties they had to perform before 8. I had called before to schedule and no one answered the phone. After asking if there was any way they could do this since I had limited time in the future to come and two team employees were standing in front of me, Natalie told me she did not have time either. Extremely disappointed in this location. I do want to point out, nothing but sincere help was given from the 800 number and a completely separate location in another state to fix our issue. Beware of workers in this store only being truly worried about 'the sale.' Albeit they can be very charming and fun to talk to, at the end of this ordeal it came down to them being worried only about selling their custom suites to my husband rather than fitting in store off their rack which was totally feasible. It was explained this salesman we would literally need the suites by the 25th of the month to which he responded that there was plenty of time! Now, I will take some blame in that I took what he said at face value and did not press further for a time frame. I assumed he new what he was talking about and given the fact he knew we were moving out of state and literally would not be here beyond the 25th and that my husband needed them for his new job that following Monday that they would be in, no problem. After checking in after three weeks, we were given different answers, very vague answers or responses from both Cedrick and other management in the store. I finally called the 800 number and explained our situation to which I was informed that I should have been told in the store the time frame for these was a minimum of 4 weeks. I was floored. Given we placed our order on the 2nd. Clearly there had NOT been enough tome to receive the suites prior to the 25th. The store also told me at one point that I didn't need to worry, they would overnight them to the closest store in our new state. Well that's not helpful. That still doesn't have him I'm a suite for his first day.... There's more to be story but too much to place here. Just know we cancelled our custom order and got other suites in store along with ties and shirts, tailored to my husband and within a week. You don't need custom unless you want special inside pieces and just know it take 4 weeks or longer to get them. read more

Don't waste your time here. Their stuff does not fit right and they look cheap. Even though they "measure" you, at the end nothing fit right. Not the pants, the jacket or the shirt. They charge for premium stuff, but will give you cheap crap. do yourselves a favor and don't look like a clown in all the photos with these tux. read more

My family went in to order tuxedos for our wedding. The sales people were rude and unhelpful. They never introduced themselves. In the course of our discussions, the sales people said that the store never mixes and matches tux and they always had to stay with what was easiest for the store. I guess customer service is not high on their list. Needless to say we are searching for a new vendor. read more

After having many a bad experience at the other Men's Warehouse locations in Middle Tennessee (Green Hills and Mt. Juliet) it was quite the refreshing experience to be treated as an appreciated customer at the Madison store. I had a hunch their Customer Service was better than the other stores when one of my groomsmen, who lives nearest this location, was treated practically like a long time friend by the staff at this store when getting sized for his tux. My experience was no different when I returned to get my free suit that I earned from my tux rentals. The sales associate was super helpful, and listened to everything I was looking for and did not break the budget set by the company for my free suit redemption. I got a great suit, and best of all, when I went to pick it up, I did not have to pay a dime for the tailoring (maybe they got wind or my previous negative experiences and decided to comp it). While I still rather shop around for formalwear (as for casual clothes they MW is way overpriced), I will gladly return to this store for purchases from time to time. On a small side note, if Men's Warehouse corporate in my hometown of Houston is smart, they will use this store as an example for their others as to who to properly conduct business in a manner that makes the customer feel welcome and appreciated. read more

I haven't had to shop for a suit in many years. But I've got a couple of big events coming up, so I decided I really needed to dress like a grown-up. I was amazed at the level of service I received from the minute I walked through the door. I wasn't sure exactly what I wanted, so I gave them a broad idea of what I was looking for. Within a minute they had found what I thought to be the perfect suit for me. They also came up with a great looking shirt, tie, and other accessories. I wasn't in any kind of a rush, but I was pleased that the tailoring was completed earlier than promised. I don't know if I'll ever need another suit, but if I do, I want to come back to this Men's Warehouse. George was right, I do love the way I look, and so does my wife. read more

My family and I went into Men's Wearhouse on Gallatin Road Madison, Tennessee tonight, February 8th, 2019 around 4:00pm. The young lady that assisted us name is Jade. First of all, Jade was professionally dressed, and knew her suites. I was buying suites for 2 step sons. Jade kept my wallet in mind while selecting their suites. After tailoring their suites, we went to the dress shirts area. Jade made it so tough to pick out dress shirts, we ended up buying 2 different dress shirts. Then Jade pick out 3 different ties for both shirts. We were able to pick out the perfect ties. Then our young men wanted, not needed new dress shoes, and Jade was patient in getting different shoe sizes, until our young men were happy with their shoes selection. And then, jade picked out new belts for them. Then we went to the register. I was frighten, wondering what in the world I spent. After all of the discounts, I saved over $1,500. We walked out spending under $425 for each young man's designer suite, 2shirts, 2ties, a belt, and a pair of nice Cole Haans dress shoes. The oldest step son is graduating college and is headed to the work world. He will definitely impress in interviews, and the youngest step son wanted a new suite for a college sport's banquet at the end of this month. Thanks to Jade, they both will be confident and will look like a million dollars in their new suite. Oh, I did not mention, Jade stayed over her shift until she finished helping us. We never felt rushed and we were completely satisfied with Jade's service. Men's Wearhouse, are you listening, you have a very dedicated employee that knows your store well. Go elsewhere for a tux rental. Im not sure why they bother to measure you, nothing fits properly when you get it. I paid over $250 for a vera wang tux just to look like a bloated shark. The staff is inexperienced but charge for expert service. Choose another place to rent from. read more

Our 6'6" son needed a new suit. We went to an upscale men's clothing store first and they couldn't fit him without having to special order from NYC and Italy (for $500-700). Also couldn't promise it would arrive within 6 weeks; he needs the suit for a cruise. So we went to Men's Wearhouse. Julia, who was knowledgeable and wonderful, took 3 quick measurements and then pulled a jacket off the rack in an extra long. He needed a 40 extra-long instead of the 42 and in the color he wanted they had to order it; it would arrive in a week. Pants came off the rack; great fit. She marked them for hemming and they, too, would be ready in 7-10 days. I think $29 for the tailoring is very reasonable, and the cut was excellent. He also picked up 2 sweaters (60% off) and 6 pairs of dress socks. With Black Friday sales (it wasn't crowded at all) he came out of there for $430. I highly recommend Men's Wearhouse and can't say enough good about Julia. read more

I would just like to say the guys at this store are absolutely wonderful!!! We went here to get the tuxedos for our wedding and they took wonderful care of my whole family. We went back today to get my husbands free suit and Chase was there to take care of us. He also helped my husband to find some very nice shirts and jeans as well.
