If you are renting attire for a wedding or other special event, pick a different vendor. Their rentals are poor quality, the rental cost is high considering the quality of the items, their staff are not well trained, and you are expected to return the rental the day after the event or be charged late fee. Online vendors like Black Tie don't have an issue with you taking a little longer to return your items and you can find better quality items and more experienced and attentive staff at any one of the Halberstadt stores in Sioux Falls. You can likely buy a decent/fairly good looking suit for less than the cost to rent one from this store. read more

Mens Wearhouse was always my hubby's go to to find just the right look for any occasion. We visited the store on Tuesday, January 4, 2021. Several employees were working and all were with customers. No problem, we browsed while waiting but REALLY needed assistance. When all but one customer had left, all of the available employees ignored us and chatted to each other. I recalled the "big mistake!" scene in Pretty Woman. We were ready to pay whatever it took to get the right look for an important upcoming event. We walked out. Long story short, we have an appointment at Halberstadts this evening and will NOT be back to Mens Wearhouse. read more

Today I attempted to go to Men's Warehouse with a friend who utilizes a wheelchair. Not only is the store not handicap accessible, but there wasn't a parking spot cleared for wheelchairs to go up a ramp to get into the store. I had to wait until cars left the store to even park and use the ramp. When we finally enter the store to ask where the bow ties are the woman called my friend "impatient" for asking. Will not be going to this store in the future. Highly disappointed with its accessibility. read more

I would like to point out that Justin helped me get fitted and did a good job of making me feel comfortable in the clothes we picked out. I took three stars from the review due to my order being messed up three times after my fitting. I specifically purchased my suit for a wedding but hat was going to happen a little over a month from the time of purchase. The suit was supposed to be altered and ready to ship within a week. 3 weeks later I finally call as I have not seen my suit and I'm due to leave for the wedding in less than a week. They find a box with my name on it and prep it for overnight delivery. At this point they have already failed to ship it once but I'm fine with it because I should have my suit by Friday night and I leave Monday. Nothing shows up. I call Saturday morning and they find my suit with the shipping label on it but it never left the store. Now we have to ship it to California to meet me for the wedding. They prep and ship the box but never verify the contents. Instead of my suit they ship a promotional sport coat to me. Finally on the last attempt Justin handles it himself and verifies that he's got my suit on the way. It makes it the day before the wedding and that's the only reason I didn't give them one star. read more

My last purchase at Men's Warehouse in Sioux Falls was extremely disappointing. After taking my measurements the suit was supposed to altered to fit. When I got it in the mail, it fit terribly. I requested that further alterations be made but was advised that if they didn't make an alteration they would not fix it. The alterations that should have been made in the first place such as the waist were ignored. This is in stark contrast to my experience there at the store some years ago when I was measured by a professional tailor and ended up with a nice fitting suit. Needless to say, I won't be returning as a customer despite the dearth of men's clothing stores in eastern South Dakota. read more

Horrible store, ancient computer system for checking out, staff was very polite but with all of the issues we had, each person we talked to handled issues differently! The issues we had are as follows: after quoting 4 suits, they over charged various pieces of the suits. One would have over charge on the pants, the next receipt would be over charged on the vest, etc. When we went in to get it corrected, once we did the math because the totals made no sense, the staff would not adjust certain pieces because they were not the person who "sold" it to us so we had to go back again. The next issue was that one of the rented ties was curved. Wow.. the other big issue was each time a suit was ready(because none of them were done at the same time) no one was ever notified To come pick up. We had to keep calling to check. I will never recommend this business. Coordinating anything is not their strength. Thank goodness we went in to order everything 3 months before my wedding! If this wasn't the ONLY thing the business did it would be more acceptable but it's not. Pathetic! read more

Horrible store and service. Spent 1000 on suits and had to pay up front. 30 days later no suits ready yet even after guarantee would be done. Called said would be ready Friday. Showed up Friday and hey had not even started on suits yet and would be 2 more weeks. Now no suit for my event. Horrible staff, service and do not honor their guarantee. Now had to buy another suit for my event at another store and out 1000. NEVER go there!!!!!!! read more
