We are so glad we did! This restaurant was fantastic and does not deserve the 3 1/2 stars. I am giving it 5 stars, because I can fault nothing. The food was good, the seating was comfortable (we sat by the fire), the music was the correct volume, it was clean, and it was appropriately priced. We visited this restaurant in a Lake Snow Effect Warning at 9pm on a Saturday night. I really have nothing negative to say. I usually say something negative so that you know that I am a real person. Ummm... it was snowing. Emily (our server) was awesome. She was helpful, bright, cheerful, and chatty (just the right amount). She was also totally cool when we decided to add an appetizer after we already ordered. She made sure we got everything at the right time. If you like wine, beer, and good food, consider this restaurant. The best way to describe it is a boushie modern sports bar.

My girlfriend and I visited last night and had mixed feelings about our experience…read more To start with the positive, my girlfriend was initially served the wrong glass of wine. The bartender immediately apologized, was very polite, and replaced it with the correct wine. Mistakes happen, and we appreciated how friendly and apologetic she was. Unfortunately, what happened afterward completely changed our impression. While we were sitting at the bar enjoying our cocktails and dinner, the incorrect glass of wine sat on the bar top for about 30 minutes. We even joked that someone was going to knock it over because it had been sitting there so long. Later, we watched a waitress ask the bartender for a glass of that same wine for another customer. To our surprise, the bartender said that she had poured that glass by mistake and had planned to drink it herself, then told the waitress to take that same glass and serve it to the customer. We were honestly speechless. Regardless of whether the wine had been touched, it had been sitting uncovered on the bar for approximately 30 minutes before being served to a paying customer. Watching that happen made us very uncomfortable and raised serious concerns about food and beverage handling practices. We understand that mistakes happen--that wasn't the issue. It's how the situation was handled afterward that left us disappointed. We hope management takes this feedback seriously because this isn't the level of service or food safety that customers should expect.

The lounge is huge, with unique vibes in different rooms behind the various old vault doors still inside. They've highlighted the history here, with cozy lighting and plenty of little nooks and crannies to enjoy with your party. The main area is the bar. The whole place has a 1920s speakeasy vibe; the night we visited a wedding party was fully leaned into this in period attire making it extra fun. They have an okay beer list, it's more about the cocktails. Our bartender was helpful and friendly, despite a growing number of people getting complicated drinks. If you like a unique place to enjoy a nightcap, this is a must-visit in downtown Cleveland.

A drink sponsored by a liquor company is usually included for the event along with a buffet style finger foods. They also have different vendors there in all the vaults offering unique experiences like permanent jewelry, hair, tinsel, and feathers, coloring contest, and this time they had a vault set up with just dance. Every time I attend a girl dinner it just keeps getting better. The staff is always amazing and welcoming.

I visited two times within the same week and loved how each event really personalized the space and made it their own. This is perfect for corporate or creative events. The bartenders at Market Garden are always on point and friendly. The space is also super easy to get to. There a huge parking lot behind Market Garden and an elevator to get upstairs if needed.

The views are immaculate - the Westside Market and W 25th. The rooftop has a bar area, tables, and benches. There are various tropical vibes - aquamarine hues, white vacay looking furniture, tropical plants, and gorgeous blue canopy/overhang. The decor has gorgeous juxtaposition with brick walls of the building. It's just gorgeous. You have to visit and take a million pictures. I felt like I was on the mini vacation. While this destination is on the rooftop, it also offers considerable amount of privacy. For instance, while walking up to the building, I wasn't able to see or hear the event I was attending. It's a big plus to have this privacy yet view the surrounding landmarks. As far as getting up there, find the door directly across from the entrance. Go up a few flights of stairs and arrive at the Canopy. The rooftop bar and event venue is only available for private events. I visited this location for a yoga class with Bottoms Up Yoga & Brew. There will be another class here in July (find it on Eventbrite). I really enjoyed the yoga class here. It accommodated our small group very well and we went for brews downstairs to the Market Garden Brewery right after. All of us were very impressed with this rooftop. I hope to be back soon for more events! Check out their contact info on the Market Garden Brewery website!
