I have tried a few in the area and none of them were right for me. I have anxiety issues and a gag reflex (which is made worse by the anxiety) and I've had everything from a dentist who walked out of the room because they thought it was "ridiculous" to the staff talking about me right outside the room and how awful it was to have me as a patient. I couldn't wait any longer because this year I started to have pain, sores and broken teeth. I was referred here by a trusted high school friend who is also a dental hygienist. I was taken in almost immediately. Doc Sevarino gave me a complete consult and identified all problem areas. Let's just say I drink soda like water. I was given a referral to a local endontologist (spelling). The entire process was less stressful than expected. Just recently I cracked a molar in two. My only real day off is Monday. I was able to get in with no fuss. They work well with my insurance. They are quick, gentle and just a great group of people. Plus the fact they make it a point to know you by your first name and generally care it's refreshing. If I could give Lewis Orthodontist a negative rating I would…read more I brought my daughter to Lewis Orthodontist back 6 years ago. They did everything to my daughter's teeth but correct them. We were with them for 4 years and I saw the orthodontist twice in those four years. When I would ask to speak with the orthodontist about my daughter's treatment in was told Dr. LEWIS had stepped out. I even made it a point to get there an hourly early to discuss my daughter's treatment. But then I was told by the office manager that I had to make an appointment. And according to my daughter she never saw the orthodontist either. Lewis Orthodontist would schedule my daughter's appointment for 8 am and we would end up waiting till noon till they took her back . I finally had enough, called my insurance company asked for the EOB, and I saw them at Lewis was charging for visits that we never had, and treatments she never had. So I notified my insurance company, and they gave me a name of a wonderful orthodontist who was kind enough to take on my daughter without getting paid due to my insurance would not cover for any more braces. But with me fighting and getting a bunch of people who have experienced the same issue with this clinic we were able to get to get our insurance companies their money back. We got the state to come in and investigate. And Lewis was forced to sell. Our new orthodontist ended up getting paid, for the work he did correcting the mess that this place did. And in less than a year my daughter has prefect straight teeth. No thanks to this horrible place. May this fraud find peace in prison for insurance fraud.
