I witnessed chairs not being wiped down after pedicures. One of the women that worked there keep pulling her mask down to drink water. Not a very clean establishment. No face shields only masks. The woman who did my nails did not speak english and kept talking in her language through out the appointment to others in the salon which was a bit annoying..all equipment they used were not cleaned at all as i could see dirt from previous client.. so now i am having covid scare..will not be returning. read more

Literally the worst nail salon I've ever been to. It smelled like cigarettes and there were only two employees working on a Saturday morning, which is a busy time for nails. I got a dip manicure and by Tuesday my nails started to crack. I called to get them fixed and was told to come in Wednesday at 5pm. When I arrived, the salon was closed. Now it is Thursday and the nails are so cracked that the dip is coming off and my natural nails are breaking. Would not recommend going to this salon to anyone, unless you want a horrible manicure. read more

I loved the woman who did my nails the first time I went here two weeks ago. Not only was she hilarious and did a great job, but we had great conversation. She deserves 5 stars. The gentlemen who did my nails today got nail polish all over my hands including on my sterling silver ring. He didn't even bother to remove the nail polish on my fingers before I left. I had an appointment and it took 20 minutes just to get seated. I'm very bummed because I had a great first experience and the second time was not good at all. I have no clue how to get the polish off my sterling silver ring and there was no sort of conversation but when there was it was quite short and unwelcoming. I came into the salon today on a whim. I had a couple nails from my last manicure where the gel was coming up around the edges or completely off. I originally just wanted to find a similar enough color (I had gotten my nails done a week and half earlier elsewhere) to do the two nails that needed new polish, but the owner talked me into just picking a new color and getting a full manicure. Unfortunately, the tech who was doing my nails started taking a tweezers to peel off my the gel. Yes, some of it was peeling up and could safely be removed this way, but along with the gel, the top layer of my nail was being pulled off! I couldn't believe it. This is no way to do nails. He was just being lazy and cutting corners for some reason, maybe to get me out of there faster. I told him to stop after a few nails and he started removing the gel properly by filing my nails and wrapping them in tin foil with nail polish remover soaked cotton. This is the standard way to soak off gel nails, after all.. The manicure itself looks nice enough, which is my reasoning behind not giving just 1 star. But the journey was terrible. I wanted white polish underneath the color I chose, and the owner and tech tried to talk me out of it for some reason. I basically had to explain color theory to this owner (who does not do nails, just owns the place) and he was insulting my inteligence and experience with getting my nails done by basically man-splaining manicures and how "they do two coats of color and you won't even see the white". It was just such an asshole move and put a sour taste in my mouth. I don't leave near enough to Mequon, so even if I liked this place, I wouldn't be going back. But watch out if you're looking for a nail place. And be ready to speak your mind if you go here and want something potentially as 'atypical' as using two different colors on your nails. read more

I stopped in for a manicure and they were able to take me right away which was the only positive experience. Negatives were: 1. Not very friendly or welcoming but were very kind and welcoming to the other clients that were regulars. 2. Nail polish wall unorganized 3. When the tech trimmed my cuticles it was VERY painful which has never happened to me. 4. I was asked to wash my hands before polishing (common) but they did not have soap. When I asked for soap they said they do not have soap 5. I do not remember if he sprayed disinfectant on my nails before polishing I will NOT return, ever! read more

I was pleased with this nail salon. I got a very pretty dip powder nail manicure (hot pink) I'm still looking for other places that do the dip powder as well for comparison. The shop was friendly. We did not have a reservation ( I would advice getting one) so we had to wait a few minutes. We also went on a Friday afternoon which is a fairly busy time. I got a pedicure and dip powder manicure. The pedicure was the same as any nail salon. The dip powder includes edging around the nail as they do with an acrylic set, cleaning the nail, cuticles and cutting off any dead skin around like a regular manicure. The dip process is pretty quick and seamless (also healthier then gel and acrylic and last longer). There is no real drying time for the dip powder which is what I like. The dip powder is also only $40.00 at this location which is reasonable for dip. I am not paying more than that. read more

I haven't been here in about 5 months. I don't know if the ownership changed or white but his salon has gone downhill! The customer service was terrible, I was ordered to pick a color and had to tell them the service I wanted four separate times. The woman doing my nails uses what she called a "new" emery board and made three of my nails bleed. Her response was "it's OK " - what in the world? she kept asking me to get dip nails when I told her I wanted shellac. After the third time of her pressing it I told her that I had already had a dip and was not a fan. Weird atmosphere, not welcoming at all and as a former customer of over two years I will not be returning. Yuck read more

If you want an infected toe, this is the place for you! Went with a friend and the pedicure was rushed and far from enjoyable. The nail tech started digging at the sides of my toe and now it's red, itching and throbbing. I am also wondering if the tools were sanitized, as they were in a basket with other tools, not open from a new package. Would not recommend!!! read more

All the nail technicians here are very nice and friendly and make you feel like family. My mom only goes to this salon also. I get pedicures and manicures and both are always FLAWLESS work. Today I tried dip and LOVED it so much. They also do waxing! I love my eyebrows I'll be a customer as long as you keep this shop open. I visited the salon the week of 1/7/19 and will not be returning. The individual who did my nails did not speak english except to say shellac is best and that will be $20. I now have nails with horizontal ridges from the electric file, a cut on my cuticle and polish that looks like it was applied by a 2 year old. read more

Called 10 min prior to going in asking if there were spots for a shellac and a dip manicure for my friend and I, we waited about 30min even though we told them we would be right there. My friend changed her mind to do a dip instead of shellac and they said that is why we had to wait, because the person available didn't do dip manicures. As my friend and I went back and fourth with one nail tech I noted the lady who "didn't do dip manicures" was doing a dip on another client (so they clearly lied to us). We were rushed through our appointment, our cuticles and sides of the nails were barely addressed and they were very rude when confronted with our complaints. Will NEVER return. read more
