Their selection is decent and their prices are reasonable, but sometimes, you will have to stand in line behind someone who's doing their month's shopping. The supermarket is on the road to the ferryboat that crosses between Cabedelo and Lucena, so if you're heading to Lucena for the weekend and forgot something, this is a great place to get anything before you cross over. Staff here are also very friendly, so this is one of my top choices when shopping.

If you don't have the time, Assis is still a decent choice for produce and basic necessities, but their meat prices are still too high for me (except ground beef, which IS cheap: R$22 per kilo, or $1.95 per pound) The cashiers are quick and the lines are never really long. Another plus is the covered parking lot.
