This is a small supermarket in Cabedelo, which surprisingly offers many items that the larger…read moresupermarkets do not carry and many other items that are more reasonably priced here than elsewhere. The supermarket is on the road to the ferryboat that crosses between Cabedelo and Lucena, so if you're heading to Lucena for the weekend and forgot something, this is a great place to get anything before you cross over. Staff here are also very friendly, so this is one of my top choices when shopping.

All of the employees are very friendly and helpful. If you want something that they don't have, you can ask the manager to order it for you (sometimes it works). They have 2 locations, but this is the one I like most.

If you don't have the time, Assis is still a decent choice for produce and basic necessities, but their meat prices are still too high for me (except ground beef, which IS cheap: R$22 per kilo, or $1.95 per pound) The cashiers are quick and the lines are never really long. Another plus is the covered parking lot.
