This is still my go-to grocery store in this little beach town. The employees are all very friendly and their selection is still pretty good. I'd recommend this if you're in town. read more

The supermarket is on the road to the ferryboat that crosses between Cabedelo and Lucena, so if you're heading to Lucena for the weekend and forgot something, this is a great place to get anything before you cross over. Staff here are also very friendly, so this is one of my top choices when shopping.

If you don't have the time, Assis is still a decent choice for produce and basic necessities, but their meat prices are still too high for me (except ground beef, which IS cheap: R$22 per kilo, or $1.95 per pound) The cashiers are quick and the lines are never really long. Another plus is the covered parking lot.

I LOVE the new spot, because it has much more space, more selections and continues with great prices. All the employees use PPE & all customers must use masks or you can't enter. Their prices are very good for everything except their wines and liquors, which are not the worst, but still are not so competitive (and these days, we need all the booze we can get).
