I had my fills done May 22nd. The girl I always go to was off that day and I was put with an obvious rookie. Her English was not good so it was hard to communicate the things I wanted to ay (like, I want my nails thin.) She had to ask someone to interpret simple words a couple of times. I went home and my nails started lifting the next morning. Being disabled, I am not allowed to drive. I am at the mercy of my husband's work schedule, unfortunately. So I was not able to get back to the salon until June 1st. I spoke to the lady up front via phone and explained the situation and that I was not going to pay to have their faulty work repaired, but that I would tip the my usual girl to fix it. (My husband was picking up $10 cash to bring back as her tip. Well, after about 20 minutes, I was told that they only cover fixing their mistakes for 9 days... I told her I would NOT be coming back. So unprofessional which shows just how much they do NOT appreciate their customers. I see I am not the only one on Yelp giving this type of review. Looks like I will be looking for another GOOD nail tech. Any suggestions? read more

I paid 70$ for acrylic nails and at first I loved them but about 5 hours after getting them done the topcoat started coming off and it has only gotten worse. the vibe was okay I honestly was on my phone the whole time but definitely won't be going back read more

Worst nail salon I've ever been to. The acrylics looked horrible. They were bulky and uneven and had different shapes and lengths. The shape was the worst part! I've never seen nails like this before. On top of that, the man who did my acrylics was filing the nails improperly and cut my skin open. 24 hours later my fingers still hurt. My toes don't look as bad but they certainly don't look like I got them professionally done. They were cut unevenly and part of my pinky toe nail wasn't even painted. Shameful place, wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy. My wife went to this place to get a basic nail procedure done and came home with glue all over her fingers and misshapen nails 3 HOURS later. On top of that they decided to charge her $70 for this monstrosity. Definitely would never recommend and I will be looking further into the reasons they would charge someone for such poor work. I had gotten my nails done by a man and he was cool but he didn't talk to me at all, he left a whole bunch of the nail acrylic under the nail which makes it get very dirty and it just stays there!!! And when I tried to get one out from Uber it, my nail chipped when I tried to take the acrylic out! Also my nails were 50$ but I wasn't surprised. read more

I called to make an appointment. This completely confused them from the gate. When I got there it was dead so I asked if I could do a mani too. They said yes. They have a brand of polish I have never heard of so I was picking new colors. I asked for a Deluxe pedi and a full service honey and milk mani. The lady doing the pedicure made me bleed. Twice. In my nail bed. But the polish was really pretty. Then the lady doing my mani didn't even say anything about how the pink I picked looked clear. Almost did the whole thing before I said anything, then she acted like it was my fault. No fault here hun. New nail polishes. But you could see that it was clear and not pink! Then she only gave me the basic mani, no milk and honey, and they charged me double the price for the basic because of the gel. No. Just no. I will not ever again argue with a 20 something year old boy manager because the service was sub par. Take better care of your customers. read more

So the first time I went was pretty great, except for the guy doing my pedicure. When I went yesterday, I got dip nails with a bit of nail art, and I had the same guy that did my pedicure. He just seemed so rushed and didn't seem to understand enough English to accommodate me. 3 other workers had to come translate for us. When I told him he filed a specific part of my nail too much, he filed it more. He made 2 of my fingers bleed around my cuticle, which I have never had happen before, and he filed my fake nail part so much that my real nail was showing, and even filed away my real nail. Now the skin underneath my real nail is exposed and very sensitive. He also did the wrong shape and length, and had to get someone else to do the nail art portion. Overall, I left wanting to cry, and spent $60 for something I absolutely did not want, and this is for graduation. Normally I would tip, but it was the worst nail experience I've ever had, therefore I did not tip. I didn't know his name, because he didn't have a name tag, so I can't say who he was. read more

I went to Mercedes Nails and Spa on Thursday, March 4th to get a set of nails and pedicure. I had been there before to get a pedicure and the technician was great, so I decided to return. However, on the 4th my experience was very different. The nail technician must not have known how to do a solar nail set, because she tried to watch the video at the same time she was doing my nails. When she completed my my nails the solar so thick it weight my nails down. She filed my nails so hard that I had nail burns on 3 nails. Then she didnt file the nails as I requested. I became so upset that I just told her to complete the service so I could leave. I got to the nail shop at 11:45 am and didn't leave until 2:40 PM. The pedicure was a better expereince, but with the nail service being so horrible I will not return. Then to put the ice on the cake when I got ready to pay the same nail technician tried to overcharge me. The is a new place and very close to the subdivision I live in but I will never go back in that shop again. The service is horrible. Thanks read more

VERY POOR MANAGEMENT!!! UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE!!! I made an appointment for my friend and I to have nails done at the same time. We came on time, but 2 ladies came before us. They were attended first because employees did not know that we had an appointment even though we told them. Manager was not in the salon. One of the employees start working on my friend's nails and told me that my nail technician is on her way, but 10 minutes later nobody came. So, that was a lie. I asked him to call a manager. When manager came in another 10 minutes, NO APPOLOGY, my friend's manicure was almost done. I did not want her to wait another hour for me to have my nails done. Manager did not even remember what service I requested when I made an appointment day before. No one was really speaking to me until I start raising my voice. I know for sure that all employees speak good enough English to understand me, but they decided not to speak with me. I was completely ignored. I felt disrespected and very disappointed. I know you all know I'm not going to BS when it comes to customer service. This just happened: Ashlyn and I walked into a facility Mercedes' Nail & Spa and was promptly greeted by a man and a woman and asked what we needed. I explained that Ashlyn needed a fill and I needed a new ombré set. The lady made a disgusted face, looked at the man and he then looked at her. They didn't say anything so I asked "Is there a problem? Can y'all do it?" The lady scoffed and laughed then said "can we do it? Yeah we can." And walked off. The guys asked us to have a seat. 10 minutes later the same rude lady came up and said "you can sit at my table" and pointed in the direction she wanted me to go. I respectfully asked if there was someone else available to do my nails because she was rude when I entered. She said yeah and chuckled. The man comes up front and says that it would be 5 more minutes because another male tech was finishing up with his customer. 5 minutes pass and I hear the lady speaking to the male tech in their language. The other guy comes forward and says "ma'am. No one here knows how to do ombré." So I said, "no one in your shop knows how to do ombré? Why wasn't that stated when I walked in?" I asked for the owner's info to complain. He says he is the owner. He was dismissive and very nonchalant. Okay cool. Upon my return to the nail salon they could not match my nail color and they notice two other nails polish was lifting. Therefore, I was told I would have to pay $15-20 extra to have all the nail polish to match.
