They actually have a Nurse Practitioner in charge. So the name, MedSpa = medical spa. They are probably the only local spa who offers IV infusions which you normally have to go to Houston for. The Myers infusion is awesome for fibromyalgia, and a shot of glutathione can be added. Some fibromyalgia patients come weekly and have gotten off prescription medications. They also offer cosmetic injectables, body contouring, spider vein treatment, tattoo removal, lash extensions, etc., and they are the only spa to offer the hydrafacial MD treatment. They actually sit and talk to you in depth to determine what is best for you in every aspect. The staff are professional and extremely friendly and attentive. Since the first cut in August from shoulder length to above the collar--was shorter than I've ever worn it and a brand new look/cut for me---it just needed a little tweaking. I wanted my 2 front cow licks to lay right after blow drying & the sides (by my ears) not be so heavy (I showed her) She seemed distracted because I shouldn't feel rushed--and that I don't have her undivided attention---but, I did. The tweak? To "me", my hair looks exactly the same--doesn't flow. I was in and out of salon in 20 min tops. Not sure, I will go back. Sad. I wanted to share my experience because I was disappointed with both the service and the quality of…read moremy gel manicure. My boyfriend treated me to a manicure and pedicure on July 3, 2026. We arrived around 1:00 p.m. Unfortunately, the appointment took much longer than expected. By approximately 2:30 p.m., my boyfriend still hadn't even been started on his manicure, so he gave up on waiting and left after paying for his pedicure and for both of my services. I finally finished my manicure and pedicure around 3:30 p.m., making the experience last over two and a half hours. Before my manicure, I specifically asked the technician not to use the electric drill to remove my nail stickers because I was concerned about damage to my natural nails. Despite my request, the drill was still used. I was eventually allowed to soak my nails in acetone, but the drill was used again afterward even though I had clearly asked that it not be. The biggest disappointment is the quality of the gel manicure. I chose gel because it costs more and is supposed to last longer than regular polish. Today, July 7, 2026--just four days later--my gel nails are already chipped and lifting from both ends. I expected a gel manicure to last well beyond four days, so this was very disappointing. Another concern I observed was sanitation. During my visit, I saw toe separators being reused between customers. After they were used on one person, they were placed back into the same bin and then used on another customer. As someone who values proper sanitation, this was concerning to witness. Overall, this experience did not meet my expectations. Between the lengthy appointment, my requests not being respected, the gel manicure failing after only four days, and the sanitation concerns I observed, I cannot recommend paying extra for a gel manicure here. I hope the owner reaches out to address these concerns and make things right. I also hope this feedback helps other customers make an informed decision before booking an appointment.

I've never used anything but regular polish on my toes. The tech told me to go dry my toes and he would do the design then he said you need a different kind of polish for the design I wanted which was a snow flake. It tookthe tech 15 minutes to polish my toes 2 hours later I put on a closed toe shoe my toes were still wet. Happy Holidays. I will go somewhere else tomorrow. I will never spend my money at this shop again. I asked for a manager he said the same thing.A waste of time and money. It was not good.

When I talked to the woman who administered it I told her I did not want to do too much for my first time, and wanted to start with a very low number because I could always add more. She did not tell me how much she was going to do befpre beginning, and ended up doing way more than we discussed. I had a large knot in between my eyes for over a month at one of the injection sites. I was not happy with the fact that they gave me more than I wanted, which made my treatment double the price I intended to pay. I had a large goose egg in between my eyes for almost 2 months so I went to other places for followup treatments. The other places around town were wonderful, they did as much as they said they were going to, and I never had any lumps or problems. I decided to try health & Wellness again today because they had a May special for $10 a unit, and a quick appointment opening. Today I talked with the practitioner and discussed what I wanted, and past problems with the lump. I told her I usually get 11 units because I've never done more than 11 without an issue. I also prefer a more natural look, and know I can always come back for additional injections once I see how the 11 turn out & settle. She began the injections and then told me that she did eight units alone in between my eyebrows, which is where they gave me the lump before. (Other places I have been to and told about the lump I got there stayed away from that area in general, and only spread out 11-12 along the forehead. ) when I went to pay after the appointment I was told that they used 20 units. That is almost double what I told her I would like to get when we discussed what I would like. Out of two visits here I have had two very questionable experiences with this place and left feeling extremely frustrated both times. It is safe to say that I will never return to Health & Wellness. There are many other places in town that I've had great experiences with, and great results. I thought after so many years I would give them another chance, but after today I will never return.
