For reasons unknown, MBO NEVER answers their phone. A recording claims "Your call is very important to us . . ." but that's clearly a lie. If you know the person you need to talk to, you can, with difficulty, reach their phone, and of course they won't answer either. So leave a voicemail, and I wish you the very best of luck. Generally, I don't get any response until I leave the third or fourth (increasingly irritated) voicemail. Example 1: I was in more pain than I had expected, and I called my doctor for some oxycodone, which he had offered previously. I had expected a call-back. Didn't happen. I had expected my pharmacy to fill the prescription within a day. Didn't happen, because THEY NEVER GOT THE ORDER! It took SIX DAYS and FOUR VOICEMAILS before the order was filled. Full disclosure: there was a weekend and a holiday intervening, but if MBO had reacted on the day I called, that wouldn't have been a factor. Example 2: I called to schedule surgery, asking for a particular week. (Per usual, no one answered the phone, and I had to leave a voicemail.) As it turned out, scheduling for that week wasn't available yet; it was too far in the future. Did I get a call-back, explaining the situation? Nope. All I got was ignored. So, not realizing the problem, I called again, and had to leave another voicemail. [wait . . . wait . . . wait . . . ] No call-back; I had been ignored again. Once more I called, and, uh . . . expressed my frustration. This time, I got a return call, and I had the common courtesy to answer my phone. [MBO, take note: actually answering a phone call is considered a GOOD thing.] The conversation did not go smoothly. If I had only gotten a return call after my very first voicemail, explaining that I was calling too early, all the ensuing mess would not have occurred. On the other hand, the actual medical care has been fine. The problem is entirely with the support staff, who seem to view patients as an intrusion into their very busy workday, to be ignored if possible, and barely tolerated otherwise. read more

Premier service, both during and prior to Covid. Dr. Cairone is one of the best physicians I have ever encountered. His attention to patients concerns, time taken to explain tests, results, etc. and translating into lay terms is unmatched. I know that when I voice issues, he's listening and works to find a solution that will adequately resolve the problem. Additionally, Trish who works directly with him is awesome. She is always responsive to calls, thorough in her follow up and explanations, diligent with paperwork needs, etc. She's always so nice and helpful and professional. I couldn't ask for more. Lastly Stef in Physical Therapy is the best. She is so good, and very thorough. She always checks for updates and improvement or issues, before diving into therapy. She gives work that can be done at home, so therapy can progress appropriately, and safely. Their sanitation measures during covid are unmatched, and you truly feel safe in the environment. Overall, service is so personal and never corporate or with the feeling that you are just another number, and faceless/nameless patient. Everyone takes the extra time, the extra moment, the extra touch to make you feel like you are important, your pain and condition are real and every effort is made to make you whole. DR Hardeski is not only a fine Doctor, but his bed side manner is excellent. He is extremely knowledgeable and discussed my ankle break with extreme care and understanding. I had a torn Meniscus that I had scheduled a procedure on with Dr. Stephen Cairone. My condition changed suddenly, with the pain level going from annoying to excruciating overnight. Dr. Cairone managed to move up my surgery and did an amazing job. While I'm still recovering, but the difference is night and day. Thank you Dr. Cairone, you're the best! read more

I love this practice! Especially Dr. Codjoe. He is great guy that made me feel at ease with both my consultation and treatments, which I was very happy with the results! I would highly recommend him! St Mary Medical Center has to be ashamed to promote this outfit much less have it as a tenant on it's campus. I had an appointment here today and there were so many people there that there wasn't a place to sit in the waiting room. The receptionists are super rude. I left instead and found a civilized orthopedic practice in Newtown instead. read more

At my 2nd office visit with MRI in hand, I had the pleasure of seeing Dr. Zak DPM. After he viewed the MRI I needed extensive foot, tendon & ligament surgery. Dr. Zak took the time to explain in detail what surgery I needed and how the outcome will benefit me back to walking pain and swelling free after recovery. Had surgery on February 19 and I am now 12 weeks post op and recovering well and walking much better than pre surgery!! If anyone is looking for a knowledgeable, caring, and competent/skilled foot surgeon, I highly recommend Dr. Zak, he is definitely a great surgeon as I walking proof!! read more

The wait was over an hour! The front staff was unpleasant and did not make eye co tact with me once. But the doc was nice and knowledgeable.

The front office staff were very unprofessional and making fun of a patient and the way he was dressed, also eating out in the open. My first appointment was with a PA, Dr. Cojoe never came in to introduce himself, nor did he even look at my X-ray. I was given a sheet with exercises to do, the frequency of which I was to do them was never explained or how many sets to do. Very disappointing and I will not be returning! read more

On December 2. My ladder slipped out from underneath me while hanging Christmas lights. Causing me to have a devastating ankle brake to the point that I could have lost my foot. I was fortunate to have Dr. Cairone who put on my external fixator on. Said to me I can do this surgery but my colleague Dr. Hardeski takes on this kind of traumatic surgery with a high success ratio and was my best chance for recovery to get back to a normal life. When I got a chance to meet him. I said to him I herd your Dr. Strange who happened to be a super surgent that became a super hero. Even though he lookes a lot like Eyegore from Young Frankenstein. I didn't let that bother me to much. Because he was professional and was able to communicate to me on a blue collar level. He reconstructed my ankle back with 12 screws and 3 plates with a wink of an eye and was able to run right out to my car afterwards. But all joking aside I'm month ahead on my recovery time of 6 months to a year. Thank you Dr. Hardeski you are my Dr. STRANGE. read more
